  1. Is it possible to do any type of variables in the advanced cost page. For example, can I have a fields cost depend on the number of visitors selected?

    • Hello.
      In the Advanced cost settings each cost option can depend only from the full cost of booking (it's mean setting percent) or can be fixed additional cost. Unfortunately it can not depend from the selection of some other fields in booking form.

    How do I know which payment method you chose the client during the booking process? In the administration panel Booking nothing appears in details of reservation.

      Unfortunately, if you activated several payment systems, the booking calendar do not "track" what exactly payment system was using.
      You have to receive the email from that payment system about payment and by this you can check what payment system used.

  3. Having trouble following the checkin /checkout logic.
    As it seems the plugin considers the check out date a billable night / stay as well as marks it selected on the calendar but technically the checkout date should be a available and not tallied with the total.
    Is the way to change this by using check in check out times. Then would there be a way to have the half shaded box, not shaded because that could be confusing to the end user. Ideally I would like the check out date to have a total availability color.

    • Hello.
      In the Business Small and Business Medium versions you can activate the using "Check In/Out" times in the general booking settings page and set check in time as 14:00 and check out time as 12:00 (or other values). Then your visitors can select the same date of booking as check in and check out date for the different bookings. This date will be marked as half booked. You can test how it's works in the Business Medium live demo (it's configure by default so).

      In the Business Large version under sub-options of "Using check In/Out times" you can activate that the "Check Out" date (or check in) stay as available date. In that case the capacity of the last date of selection will not decrease and new bookings can start selection from the last date of selection. Please test it in live demo.

  4. Hi, about Previous/historical bookings
    Our system is live and we have 2 bookings for feb 16th last week that have now just disappeared from the system. I looked in "previous bookings" but they are not there, I looked in the database in the "booking" table also. Are bookings permanently deleted once they have passed? If so, is there a way to disable this as we really need to keep ALL bookings?
    I noticed https://wordpress.org/plugins/booking-manager/ and just installed today but still the Feb 16th bookings are gone. Also when I imported the bookings all the booking IDs were different?
    If you can let me know how to find previous bookings and if there is a way to always have them showing?

    • Hello.
      The booking(s) can be permanently deleted, only if you delete them using the Delete buttons on the Booking Listing or Booking Overview pages. Otherwise the bookings will not deleted if they in a past. Also in the Booking Calendar Business Small and higher versions possible to activate the auto cancellation (permanently deletion) of the "pending bookings, which have no successfully paid status" after specific period of time. You can check if this option is activated in your system on the General Booking Settings page.
      Otherwise the bookings must be in your system, please recheck carefully all parameters in the Filter Tab on the Booking Listing page. May be you was deleted them accidentally, or you are have the links for the cancellation of the booking by the visitors who made this booking in the emails, which are sending to the visitors.

      P.S. Booking Manager useful only for the older versions of Booking Calendar (update 3.0 or older). We are planing to redevelop the functionality of Booking Manager in a future updates, it will have fully new features in a future updates.

      • You are absolutely right! Sorry, I have gone into a backup and seen the bookings were pending and auto cancel was on. Very sorry, please ignore.

  5. Hi
    I have a regular problem where my "send payment request to visitor" emails aren't received.  Once in a while it turns up in their spam, but mostly it never arrives.  I can only guess that it's a problem with junk mail or spam filtering within customer's email.  But it so rarely arrives the facility is useless.  I'm running Large Business Site 5.0.1.
    I welcome your thoughts and comments.

      If you have the successfully delivered emails, and only some of them are marking as spam, so its "problem with junk mail or spam filtering".
      I can only suggest that you can try to change the "From" email field in the Booking > Settings > Emails page, may be it can have impact to the issue.

  6. Hello,
    We are using the Business Large version of the plugin and we are trying to set a minimum amount of days based to be selected based on the seasonal filter. I have followed the instructions found here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes. Unfortunately, I am still able to select any minimum number of days (1 day) on the target day of the 4th of July of 2014.
    In the Booking Settings area, I set the Type of Days Selection to "range days" > Dynamic > Days selection number 1-30 )>Start day of range week "Any day"
    This is what we have set for the shortcode:
    [bookingselect label='Please select the room type:' form_type='standard' nummonths=1 type='1,2,3,4,13' options='{select-day condition="season" for="July 4th Holiday Week" value="2-30"},

    Am i missing another important setting somewhere? Does it matter what the specific settings are in the Type of Days Selection beyond selecting "Range Days"? I'm assuming that any shortcode options override the rest of the settings.

    • Hello.
      The "options" parameter possible to use only for the [booking ... ] shortcode and not for the [bookingselect ...] shortcode.

      I will add the possibility to use conditional option parameter in the [bookingselect ...] shortcode to the todo list for using it in a future updates.

    • Hello.
      Such functionality available in Business Medium and higher versions.
      You need to click on "Valuation days" button on Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page to configure that discount.

      • But in valution days, applying for example to a bedroom for 3 to 6 days at a cost of 30 € instead that 35 €, it is applied only on the third day for the first two while the cost is 35 €?

          You can use instead of
          "For 3rd day = 30 Euro"
          this configuration:
          "Together 3 days = 90 Euro for the all days"

          • So if for example I have a period of two weeks and I have to apply 30 € per day I have to create "Together 3 days = 90 Euro for all the days" "Together 4 days = 120euro for the all days" "Together for 5 days = 150 Euro all the days "? etc?

              No, you can create something like this:
              "Together 3 days = 90 Euro for all the days”
              "From 4 to 5 days = 30 Euro for the each day"

              System firstly calculate all days up to 3 days as 90 Euro and then it can calculate the cost for the each separate day.

    Hi dears, I'm on multiuser version. Since yesterday I have problems with the visualization of bookings list. The table is disordered, the bookings overlap one to another, displaying two items on the same row. I didn't installed some strange plugin or something like that. What can be happened?

      Please recheck the "Content of booking fields" form on the Booking > Settings > Fields page.
      Probably you are having some additional HTML element or did not close HTML element, or just have some wrong HTML structure.

      2) You can activate the "Deposit" payment feature on the General Booking Settings page in cost section, an then set the specific amount of deposit payment for the specific booking resources on the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page.

        I  can give the customer the opportunity to choose whether to pay only the deposit or all of the cost of booking? I can also activate the function of deposit to the season filters? For example, I would not be turned on for the high season in August.

        • Hello.
          1) You can activate to show in the payment form "full cost" or "deposit cost" in the settings (on the General Booking Settings page in the cost section and then on the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page for the specific resource). Its mean that only admin can manage this. Visitor can not select it.
          2) Unfortunately, its not possible to activate the "deposit payment feature" only for specific season filters, yet. Sorry.

  10. Hello , I am trying to find where to configure the information shown in the in page calendar rollover box. Can it show not just "Booked Times" but more info like Username and Email. I am using Business Small version
