  1. I am trying to create a form that shows days across the top (as column headers) and resources across the Y-axis (as row headings) in the paid version. I see lots of screen shots so I know this is possible, but when I choose "Booking Calendar" in the post editor, I am asked to "select booking resource" when in fact I want to show all 20 resources as 20 rows in the same table.
    Please help!

    • Hello.
Unfortunately, such type of view possible only on the Admin panel.
On the front-end possible to show only in-line month view calendar for the selection dates of specific resources.
      Kind regards.

    • I now see that I have that functionality in the WP Admin main screen - I basically want to replicate that view on a site page so that others can see the full  resource calendar.  Thanks in advance for all the help!

      • Unfortunately plugin does not support show such type of view on the client side, yet. Sorry.
        Kind regards.

  2. Hello,
I am using Business Medium Version 5.0.4.
I would like to set a block booking of days in the calendar so that a users can only select
    Mon-Fri (4 nights) and/or
    Fri-Mon (3 nights) or
    Mon-Mon (7 nights/14 nights/21 nights) or
    Fri-Fri (7 nights/14 nights/21 nights)
    Is this possible currently?

    • Hello.
Yes, it's possible. 1) According setting the 2 different check in dates. Please read here how to configure it (you need to check the section about "options" parameter): https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/

You need to have the "options" parameter in the booking calendar shortcode similar to this:

      options='{select-day condition="weekday" for="1" value="4"},{select-day condition="weekday" for="5" value="3"}'

Also you need to activate the range days selection mode using 2 mouse clicks at the General Booking Settings page in Calendar section.

      Kind regards.

      • Many thanks for your quick response, it works perfectly.

  3. Hello.
I would ask if it is possible to generate an invoice for the guest.
    Thanks in advance,
    Luca

    • Hello.
The Booking Calendar does not have the special email template for the invoice or automatically sending of it.
Plugin support the configurations of the email templates (on the Settings Emails page) after specific actions, like: creation of new booking, approval, cancelation or modifications of the booking, sending payment request.
      Kind regards.

  4. Just looking for instructions on how to connect to a Paypal account. I've looked everywhere but somehow cannot find the answer. Thanks for your help.

    • Hello.
The PayPal payment system integration are supporting in the Business Small and higher versions. You can activate and configure the PayPal account connection to the plugin on the Booking > Settings > Payment > PayPal page. Just fill settings fields on that page.
      Kind regards.

      • Thanks for your quick reply. I am managing a site created by another developer and am needing basic info.
Since the site has apparently been using Paypal with Booking Calendar, I assume we're working with a higher version. There is a PayPal customization panel on the Booking/Settings/Payments page. The box to use PayPal is checked, I have changed the PayPal Email address to the new one. Would you mind looking at this page and let me know if it has the correct shortcode?:

I'd be glad to supply more information. Thanks for any tips to point me in the right direction!

        • Hello.
You can just make a test booking on your website and then follow to the PayPal payment page (by clicking on PayPal button after your booking was submitting), and then recheck that there is everything correct (for example using the live environment and not the test). In general you just need to check settings on the Settings Payment PayPal page.
          Kind regards.

          • Yes, that's what I thought. But, the only setting I see that would be changed to use the new PayPal account is the Paypal Email address to receive payments. I've changed that to the new one, however, when the payment form is submitted, it opens the PayPal payment page that displays the incorrect email address (fawcett), which goes to the incorrect PayPal account. I've emptied the browser cache, used a few different browsers. What am I missing?

            Thanks again for your help

            • Hello.
Please recheck that you do not use any cache plugins in your WordPress website. If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form.

Also (just for checking) you are meaning the email of PayPal account, not the email, which you fill in the booking form during making booking, because this email it's email of the customer who make the booking, of course.

  5. Hello, your plugin is interresting, but I think that it doesn't have what I need.
Do you have a customer list with this plugin? When a customer make a reservation, can I see this customer in a customer list with all reservation he made?
    Thanks

    • Hello.
You can check the bookings list (including all booking data) on the admin panel on booking listing page. Please note, you can use the keyword parameter on filter tab ( where you can type the email of the customer) on this page to show only the bookings from specific customer.
      Kind regards.

    • Hello.
Thank you for interest to the Booking Calendar.

The Booking Calendar is WordPress plugin and work only on the WordPress websites. You can check how to install plugin on the help page of plugin website.

Please note, the Booking Calendar have the standard booking workflow process and support only mainline month view calendar for the booking. Its do not support the view on the front-end side of your website, like in description of your email. Similar type of view is supporting only in admin panel. Please retest it in the live demos.

Here is general instruction about the usage of the plugin.

      1) You are need to create the bookingresources for the each of your properties or services on the Booking > Resourcespage. Please read more info about the booking resources and how to configure them here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-resource/

      2) Then you be able to insert the booking form for the specific resource (your property or service, which have to be booked) into the any posts or pages. Please read more how to insert and configure the booking shortcode into the post or page herehttps://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/ Please read how manually to configure Booking Calendar shortcodes herehttps://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/

      3) Finally you can reconfigure settings, form fields and email templates, if you need the different options, on the Booking > Settings pages.

Hope its will be helpful for you.

Please note, unfortunately, if you was have old bookings and need to import them into the Booking Calendar you will be need manually add them on the Booking > Add Booking page.

You can check all features, that available in the different Booking Calendar versions at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/features/

You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

      Kind regards.

P.S. Please note, any communications and support possible only by email or through the support forum.

  7. Hello.
We noticed that in the admin panel of Booking, adding a manually reservation, in the select of resources, the mother resource appear twice and this misleads the operator of the facility. How can we solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance

    • Hello.
It does not bug, it's a future.
First resource it's "parents resource with specific capacity (like at the front-end).
Second resource it's "child" (single) resource, which part of the "parent" resource. Because the capacity based on the all child resource plus parent resource itself.
      Kind regards.

    • Hello again.
If you need to remove that item from that list, please make this fix.
      Please open this file ../booking/inc/personal.php

      then find this code:

      if (isset($tl->parent)) if ($tl->parent == 0 ) if ($tl->count > 1 ) { ?>

and replace it to this code:

      if (0) if (isset($tl->parent)) if ($tl->parent == 0 ) if ($tl->count > 1 ) { ?>

  8. Hi,
I have 2 questions in regards payment.
Firstly my clients would like to process credit card payments themselves as they do not use Paypal (or want to) . I am able to do this in their woocommerce cart using the Offline Credit Card Processingplugin but is there a way to add this sort of payment option to the booking forms?
My other question is if I set the auto approve will it send out the payment request email automatically as well?
    Using Version 9.Business.Medium.SingleSite.5.0.4
    Thanks
    Brad

    • Hello.
      1) The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support PayPal(Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay and iPay88 payment gateways integrations, other payment systems or direct bank transfers are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

If you want to make the integrations of your payment system by yourself, so you will be able to check how is integrated the Payment system (on the example) of the PayPal system at this file:../booking/inc/payments/paypal.php . You will be need to create your file with similar structure in that folder. Also you are need to include the calling of your file into this file: ../booking/inc/payments/index.php in the same way, as it was done for the other 3 payment systems.
Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.

      2) No, it does not send the "payment request" emails automatically. You need to send these requests manually.

      Kind regards.

  9. Hi there, I am using Business Small of the Plugin and was wondering if it is possible to show in the frontend, who has made an existing booking.
    The use case:
    - internal company use of the plugin, people can book ressources (rooms, cars)
    - if a user wants to book a room and it is already booked, he wants to see by whom to know who to talk to for changing

Is this somehow possible (or planned)?

    Thanks!

  10. hi there, i've just purchased the large business booking form, i am having a problem, where the calendar date is not coming through on the acceptance form.
the Content of Booking Fields contains the following "<strong>Wedding Reception Date</strong>: <span class="fieldvalue">[dates]</span><br/> "
but I did also notice that when viewing the submitted bookings on the back-end, there is no date collected there. But when you go into each individual booking by clicking edit, the user submitted date is present.
not sure where the problem is? please help

    • Hello.
In the Booking > Settings > Fields page on the "Content of Booking Fields" tab the "[dates]" shortcode does not support. You can use this shortcode ([dates]) only in the Booking > Settings > Emails page for the email templates.
The dates of the specific booking on the Booking Listing page are showing automatically in the specific column.
      Kind regards.

      • Hi there, i did enter as you provided and it did bring in the booking date, however, it repeats it now like this: (April 26, 2014, April 26, 2014 00:00)
this is the relevant part of my code:

                                                     ([dates])
                                                    <br><br>
                                                     [content]
                                                    <br><br>

        • Hello.
Please recheck that in the Booking > Settings > Fields page you are using the correct configurations of the times fields.
Please recreate them. then create the NEW booking and recheck if tis help or not.
If you are still will have this issue, please send the screenshot of this issue, also the screenshots of the Booking > Settings > Fields and Booking > Settings > Emails pages and link to the page with booking form on your page to this email support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
          Kind regards.

          • hi there, ive spotted the problem. wp total cache stored an issue somewhere. I cleared all cache after finalising form and now works a treat. thank you

            • Hello.
You need to add the exception to the page with Booking Calendar form into the settings of "wp total cache".
Otherwise you will not be bale to make new bookings correctly.
Please check with support of "wp total cache" plugin how to add the exception of caching specific page.
              Kind regards.
