I am trying to make a calendar that a user can book time at a rental cottage. I would like to have payments work on a nightly basis with a check-in time of 4 PM on the first dayand a check-out time of 11 AM on the last day. To do this I set 'Use fixed time' in the General tab so that it would book partial days (otherwise other users couldn't book a day someone was checking in out).
However, because I am setting a fixed time, it calculates the rent using the fixed times. I.e. only charges the user for partial days. I would have thought by choosing rent 'by night' it would not consider the fixed times.
Is there any way around this?

Please open the Settings Payment page and uncheck option "Time impact to the cost", save the settings and then try to test again.

Please recheck that you are have correct locale at the config.php file at root of your site.
Also please recheck for the any active (and configured) translation plugin(s), which is chnage the locale of the site.

Probably, you are activating the redirection to the "thank you" page at the general booking setting page and type the wrong URL of that page there, so thats why after reservation process you can get the 404 error.

On another note, why do I get an error: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page. when I click either on the settings or bookings option?

Probably you are login as not admin user and you are have set different permissions for the menu pages.
So please login as admin user, then open general booking settings page and set correct permissions for the admin menu pages (these settings at the right side of that page).

Congratulations for the great plugin. Is it possible to choose days from the calendar by keeping the mouse clicked from-to dates and not having to click on each different day? I have some clients that book about 3 weeks and it is not good to having to click 21 times.

It's possible at the Premium and higher versions.
You are need to open the General Booking settings page,
then make selection of the "Range days selection:" option,
after select the "Selection of DYNAMIC number of days by TWO mouse click" radio button,
set the minimum days selection as 7
maximum days selection you can set as default 365
and inside of the field "Specific days selections:" set 7.
Save the settings and make tests.
So now at the client side in calendar, you can make only week(s) selection.
I don't want to set the minimum days at 7. I want to click on the first day, keep the mouse pressed and then release it on the last day. This process might be done for 3 or 12 or whatever days. Otherwise, I would like to be able to select a date range. Is that possible?
You can set any number of days as minimum number for the selections.
But in any cases you will need to click firstly on check in date and then click on checkout date. So you are need to make 2 clicks inside of the calendar.

1) at the Premium and higher versions, you can activate at the "general booking settings page" the "range" days selection using 2 mouse clicks, in the suboptions you can set the minimum days selections as 3 days.
2) According mobile devices, right now there is no some special versions for them. Sorry. So its mean that its will show in normal way as any other HTML page.

We have a problem where one confirmed booking is displayed correctly in a calendar on one page of our website but not another.
We are running WordPress 3.1.1, Booking Calendar 9.Professional.SingleSite.3.0, PHP 5.2.17, Zend Engine v2.2.0, Zend Extension Manager v1.2.2, Zend Optimizer v3.3.9.
The specific problem is with booking ID = 111 for the resource Waratah Cottage for 18 April 2012 to 20 April 2012. It is displayed correctly in the calendar in the booking form on the page at https://www.bunjareecottages.com.au/cottages/waratah-cottage/book-waratah-cottage/ but it is not being displayed in the calendar on the page at https://www.bunjareecottages.com.au/cottages/waratah-cottage/
I have already tried deleting the booking and re-entering it manually.
I have also tried to edit the page and re-publishing it to see if it would cause the calendar to refresh, but it does not.
What do you suggest that we try next?

I Have the premium version of the booking calendar. The reason i bought it was because I thought you could create a change-over day. But I can't get it to work. What I want is too have the first day to start from 1pm and the last day to end at 12am. So that the last day can still be clicked on and booked from 1pm and on. That day wil be the change-over day.

You can activate the "fixed time" usage option at the general booking settings page and then set start time as 13:00 and end time as 12:00.
After this your visitors can use the same date for check in/out dates of different bookings.
If there is a confirmed booking fron Sunday to Sunday, then the calender does not allow a booking from the previous Sunday to the next Sunday booked.
The same is for the vacating Sunday, no booking can be made for that day. In other words cannot book on changeover day.
Could you please advise.

In demo I could see that if I'm a registered site user, the booking form is automatically filled with info that is contained in standard user profile fields. Can the plugin be configured to fetch info from CUSTOM user profile fields?
