If you will have any problems with booking button at edit toolbar for inserting shortcode, probabaly you are in HTML content edit mode, please turn to the visual view mode your edit toolbar and recheck if the booking button will appear there.
If you are still will have an issue, please recheck your page for any Java script errors or some plugins, which are override the edit toolbar. Then try to fix or deactivate those plugins.
Try to deactivate one by one your active plugins for checking if it's fix issue or not, for searching the reason of that issue.
If its not help try to deactivate your actual theme and activate default one.
Then test it again.

I have tried decativating and then reactivating, checking the settings so that data is not lost, and have tried uninstalling and reinsalling after deactivation. In every case I have waited until the process is complete and confirmed that it was sucessful.
Nothing seems to work, and I continue to get the same error message. What else can be done?

For finding the reason of those JavaScript errors, please deactivate one by one all of your active plugins, if its not help, please deactivate your actual them and activate the default one. After you are check that is the reason of these errors, its will be more easy to fix of those errors.

sorry, but this feature is exist at the Business Medium/Large versions. You can define the dates at the season filters at the Booking > Resources > Filters page and then at the Booking > Resources > Availability page set those dates as unavailable for the specific booking resource.
You can make upgrade to one of these versions using the link at the top right side of the General Booking Settings page

I have an extended payment form from PayPal which includes a line for qty. In the case of my booking form I'm booking tail rides (horses) and it's $38 per rider. I have the form with the paypal button but I'm not sure where to past the form code.

1. Is it possible to split up one day in two halves? Let's say one guest departs on a wednesday at 12, then it would be possible for a new guest to arrive on the same day at 16 eg. In order for that to work out, you would need the possibillity of having two bookings on the same day. Is that a feature in one of the versions?
2. Is it possible to sync with / export to iCal?

1) It's possible at the Premium and Premium Plus versions.
You can activate the fixed time at the General Booking Settings page and set the start time as 13:00 and end time as 10:00,so then you can use the same selected date as check in/out date for the different bookings.
Please retest it at live demos to be sure in functionality.
2) Sorry, the integration with iCal is not supported yet.

Hi I have bought the personal version and have a quick query.
When a booking is made by phone I want to be able to go to "add a booking" and enter it manually. I enter my own details for these bookings.
However, I then have to fill in a form each time, which is a pain.
Is it possible to either get the form to autofill with all required fields (user name, etc), not just email;
or
Is it possible to make it somehow so there is no form to fill in, only the send button instead.

Sorry, but in the Personal version at the "Add booking" admin page you have to fill the form fields manually. In the Business Small and higher versions at this page at top right side is exist auto fill form fields button. You can make upgarde to that version using the link at the general booking settings page at too right side.

It seems a bit unfair that you need to upgrade just to make the plugin easier to use.
As it stands my customer isn't happy with it, since she has to send herself an email, then go and approve the booking in the bookings section.
She wants to be able to add a booking, press done, and that's it.
She doesn't need online payments, etc, this would seem to be more a simple matter of usability and making it as easy as possible for the user.
So what happens if she decides that it doesn't work for her, do we get a refund?

we will add the auto fill fields feature or some other "method" of adding fast reservations or making the dates as unavailable for the all paid versions in the one of future updates. But right now at the "Personal" version this feature is not available yet. Sorry. Its was possible to test all the functionality at the live demo of this version.
And still if you will think that this version is not good for you, you can request the refund of your order during 30 days after purchase of the Booking Calendar, but in this case you must delete any versions of the booking calendar.

Yes but on the demo version of the personal version it has the first name last name auto-filled in, so that's why the confusion.

Please open your user profile at the WordPress settings and recheck that you are filled the first and second names of your WordPress user.
Than open the Booking Settings Fields page and recheck that you are use for the first and second name the default text fields. You can recheck the default fields for the first and second name, when you press the "reset to default" button at that page.

Just a suggestion though - if you go to add a booking yourself, say you've got a telephone booking, then you don't really need to receive an email, so maybe a tick box in this section to turn on/off the sending of an email would be a good idea.
Also if I add a booking myself then I don't need to go and verify it, I already know it's approved otherwise I wouldn't be adding it, so maybe an auto-approve option from add a booking would be good too.
It is a great plugin though, just perhaps could have options to simplify it's use a little for those who just want to be able to show the bookings on a calendar rather than use it as a full-on booking management system.

I'm running into a small issue with displaying equal number of months per row.
I changed the width of the calendar per these instructions (https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/calendar-months-in-several-rows/) but now my calendar displays 3 months in the first row, 2 in the second, then 3 again in the next row and so on. I would like to display 3 months in each row. How do I go about this?
