  1. Hi. Im interested in this plug-in but i need to know if I will be able to do theese things:

    * Share the different resources avaiblity in one calendar. For example, if resource #1 is not abaible on Monday at 10:00, but resource #2 does, then show as avaible on the calendar and allow the booking. This will be done by default clients.

    * Link clients with resources. For example, registered user 'Peter' is linked with resource #2, and he can only see and book on the avaible dates on calendar for resource #2.

    All these actions are needed to fit in a medical centre booking page, and resources will be the doctors.

      1) the posibility of several resrvations at the same full day at same calendar is available at the Booking Calendar Hotel Edition version. At this version you can set capacity of booking resource. But this capacity is apply for full day and not really depends from time. So please check live demo of this version to be sure according functionality

      2) if you need that only registered users can have access to the booking form. I can propose that you create several, password protected, pages. And insert into each of those pages specific booking form. The password for specific pages have to know your registered users.

  2. I am setting up a site for a friend and was in the process of testing, when I tried to make a booking either from the front-end or the admin area I am getting this error: "Error during inserting into BD" I have tried re-installing the plugin several times but its still the same

    I am using the simple booking calender

      Please check according permissions of file here is detail info https://onlinebookingcalendar.com/faq/#faq-13
      If its will not help, please go to the booking settings menu and set "Delete booking data during deactivattion" (please note its will delete all your booking data during plugin deactivation) then go to the plugins menu press deactivate link and then press activate link and wait doe mwssage: "the plugin is activated successfuly". then try test again.
      If these will not help, please send error.log and link to your site to my email. Thank you.

      • I have checked the link you sent and:
        1. the only way capcha will work for me is to give the TMP folder a 777 access, 755 nor 775 doesn't work. I have since turned captcha off and that doesn't seem to be the cause of my problem as not I do with captcha (neither the access level nor whether its off or on) affects this problem.

        2.where would i find this error.log or how do I generate one.

        3. I am looking at the database and don't seem to see and tables that seem to belong to this plugin what are th e name of these tables ? so i can verify that they are being created when the plugin is activated

        • 1) You need check not "captcha" folder but "wp-content/plugins/booking" directories and/or file "wp-content/plugins/booking/wpdev-booking.php" and set permissions to 755.
          2) You will need to conatct your administrator if you do no know where this file
          3) If you do not see tables at DB, so then problem in unsuccessfull activation of plugin and you can skip previos 2 points.
          - So you need go to the Booking Settings menu, then set CHECKED "Delete booking data" during deactivation, and then press save settings button
          - then go to the plugins menu and press desctivate link, after wait untill you will see message "Plugins is deactivated successfully"
          - then click at the activate link, (IMPORTANT) wait untill message will show "Plugin is activated successfully" (If you do not wait for this messsage its can be that not all tables will created)

          After this make your tests. If you will have still problems, please contact to my email.

  3. Hello, I am having a problem getting all of the autogenerated emails to the person to work. Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?

      If you have problems with sending booking emails templates, please check next points:
      1) check that admin emails was set correctly at the booking settings pages
      2) check that php mail function was active and work correctly at your server
      3) check spam folder at the email account of person, where emails have to be.

  4. I think this plugin will be perfect for me, but I'm confused about which one to get. Here's what I need to do:
    - I am an online advisor and show on my site several days in a week where clients can book one-hour slots of time with me. For example, I may have slots free on Monday and Tuesday only in one-hour slots from 10am to 3pm.
    - Clients look at the calendar and see those slots
    - When the clients books their hour (or two hours), then that time slot is "gone" from the available slots
    - After booking their time the clients is automatically taken to Paypal to pay. If they don't pay the slot is still free

    Which version will do this for me ?

      Please check online demo of Booking Calendar Premium Plus version.
      The functionality of this version is most close to your description. Here is answers to your questions:
      1) At this version you can set available days based on season filter settings (its very flexible). Then you need to configure at the general booking settings menu single day selections. After this at the Form fields customization page set selection of time using time-ranges shortcode (or some other variant, like selection of start time and duration of time). All help info according shortcodes at the right side of this page.
      2) Client will see at calendar only available days (which you are set at previos step using Season filter). When client select a day (and you use time ranges selections) all booked time slots at select box become DISABLED.
      3) Ok. Please test at live demo
      4) After client made booking, for this client is show Paypal payment button for payment. The time, which he booked become unavailable. (If you want that booking, which was not payed and not approved by admin is cancel automatically, so then this feature will be available at the version 2.7 update, which have to come soon at this week).

  5. I need to change the width of the text fields of the form. I found the CSS classes to change the calendar but not the text fields that appear as defined in the php code directly without even using styles.
    How can I change the size of these text fields?

  6. I am having a paypal integration problem. I have it turned on, and the appropriate settings in place, however the form still has the "send" button instead of the "buy now" button. What do I need to do?

    • Hello Brad,
      the paypal button is appear after you are selected days and fill the form and press send button. Please note that cost of this booking have to be higher than 0. So need to set aproriate cost at the settings page for this booking resource.

  7. I've just purchased the Premium edition. I want to add a simple booking calendar for a village hall. They have three booking time slots per day morning/afternoon/evening. I've followed the "How can I set some predefined hours for booking at a day?" on your FAQs but when I test the booking form regardless of the hours selected the reservation is always 12.00 - 14.00 which incidentally isn't one of my predefined hours. Am I missing something?

    • Hello Tayler,
      Its can be that you are CHECKED "Use fixed time:" option at the General Booking settings page. If you checked it, so please uncheck this option and save a settings page. (That option is oweride all time entering from booking form, and only usefull when you use range days selection).
      If its will not solve the problem, please send to my email, screenshots of settings page to check it and link to your page.

      • Resolved many thanks for quick response. I have one other quick question regarding paypal integration. once a customer makes a reservation request, I'd like to approve the request before sending a "payment request" with a custom amount via link in an email. It all looks possible but can't quite figure it out.

          just make CHECKED checkbox at the left side nearly your booking at Admin panel, and then press Approve button at the bottom of table.

          • I understand the approval process. Once I do that, I want to add the cost on the right and save it, then send payment request to visitor. This works and an email is generated with a link to a payment page that has the message: Wrong booking hash in URL. Probably hash is expired.

            • Please go to the General Booking settings page and uncheck "Change hash after approvment of booking:" option to not chnage HASH after approvement process.

            • Ok try todo next things.
              Go to the General Booking Settings menu make checked "Change hash after approvment of booking:” option and then press save button.
              Then UNCHECK "Change hash after approvment of booking:” option and then again press save a button.
              Then please test it.

              Did you have "Change hash after approvment of booking:" option checked at the general booking settings menu ?
              It must be unchecked for not changing hash.
              Please send to my email screenshot of your general booking settings page, if issue will still exist.

  9. Hi, Im very interested in this plugin, but my client won't have enough payment options with only paypal. I've read there is another option, sage payment, but I don't really know who these people are or what they do. The fact is I need that payment can be done via payPal or with credit card, as usual, as in every online shop. Can you explain me if it is possible, and what is this sage thing about?

    • Hello, right now is available Paypal and Sage payments systems at Premium and higher versions. Sage - it's online payment systems, which is popular at the UK. You can read more about it at thie site. At future updates of plugins will be added other payments systems also.

  10. Hey. I've purchased the premium plugin and so far it looks good. However, I am trying to display the calendar in my sidebar and the booking form in the main container body. I want to be able to separate the two, and in your FAQ you give the following code to place the calendar in a php file:

    And then you say "3. where you need to set $bookingtype – type of booking property (default = 1);
    4. and you need to set $calendar_count – calendar count (default = 1);"

    What does this mean? Is it possible you could show some example code?

      For exmaple you have some booking resource with ID = 12 and want to show booking form, which will show 2 monthes at calendar, so then you need to use this code inside of your page:
