  1. I have installed the Hotel version. I need to setup seminars by Day and specific time. Example Monday at 3 PM 25 seats and 8 PM 30 seats. Multiple days of the week (Mon-Thu and Sat). So if they select the day the hours are give for that day. Is there a way to do this? It has to based on the day of the week for the weeks available. This a great product and I know I may be pushing the envelop.

      At the Hotel Edition version for the specific booking resource you can setup fixed capacity. And this capacity is based for full day can not be depends from time. So in other words you need to have 2 booking resource (booking form) - one for 25 seats and one for 30 seats. Also the same rule for the time, the time selections inside of form for one day is not work, when you setup some capacity.
      So in your situation, you need to have 2 booking forms, one form for reservation of 25 peoples at 3pm and other for 30 seats at 8pm. At the page, where you are insert these 2 forms you can have at the top of page some select box for time selections, and depends from selected time you can then show or hide specific form. Something similar to this https://onlinebookingcalendar.com/faq/#faq-selection-by-selectbox it's only idea code have robe little different.

      All other configuration is standard. So then you need to set capacity for each of your 2 booking resources at the Booking > Settings > Resource page for 25 and 30 seats. Then you can define at Filters page - session filters - dates, which will be available inside of calendar for event. Then at availability and cost page assign these session filter to your booking resource for setting available only those dates.

    I think I am not sure if I fully understand how this plugin works. Here is what I did:
    1.Installed and activated plugin in WordPress
    2. Put the plugin on a site as a widget
    3. Here is where the problem starts. Only Calendar and link which is I called "BOOK" are showed on a site but there are no First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Details, Captcha and Send button form.

    So my questions are:
    1. How can I show previously mentioned forms on a site? Where is that option? I see only option for turning the Captcha on.
    2. Where "BOOK" should be linked too?
    3. Is it possible that when user comes to my site that he only clicks on desired dates in calendar to make a booking and I get message in my admin control panel or over email?
    4. Does the booking process works like this: user comes and clicks on desired dates. I get the email about booking, go to my WordPress account, Booking and mark those dates picked by a user as booked?
    5. Add booking option inside WordPress control panel makes me confused. I do not understand its concept. Why are all of the forms I mentioned located there and not on website?
    6. Does localhost in which I am testing the whole thing has any negative effects on whole process of trying to set up the plugin? Should I use some web host instead?

    • Hello,
      1) You need go to the wordpress widget managment menu and select Booking widget. Then at parameters of widget select showing of booking form and not availability calendar as it setted now.
      2) Right now you set at widget showing only availability calendar (without form), there is exist "Book" buton, so you can enter link to some page of your blog at the widget settings for action of this button. At that page you will be need to insert booking form (use new Booking button at edit post page at toolbar for this), or use actions from point #1 from this description.
      3) No, user need to fill the booking form, so then you will receive email.
      4) Right now its work like this. Visitor come to your site, picck the dates for booking, fill the booking form fields, press the Book button. The dates is reserved and this booking have pending status. You are receive email about new reservations. Then you can come to the admin booking menu and make approvment or cancellation of this booking. Visitor will receive email about this action then.
      5) Add new booking, at admin panel is usefull, when you are receive the reservation by phone and need to make this reservation manually, or by some reson need to make this reservation manually.
      6) Not really in free version. You can test it there.

  3. Hi, I'm using Version 9.Premium.2.7
    Issue: I've setup calenders with booking forms on pages that are set to "private" because I don't want them showing up in the menu bar. When links to any of the private pages are clicked these pages (with calender with booking form) display OK in Firefox3.6.13, but IE8 displays "Error 404 - Not Found". Why the difference and how can I keep the pages private but display them in IE8???

    • Problem solved...
      Made pages public and added &exclude=81,123,etc.. to wp_list_pages in theme header.php to exclude pages from showing in the nav bar. My theme does not offer the option to exclude pages in admin...

  4. I would like to customize the payment screen containing the Payment information. Where do I do this?

      You can make it at file include/wpdev-premium.php at function definePaypalFormRequest , but if you make modification at file we will not guarantee correct work of Booking Calendar then.

      • Thank you. I will not make any changes. I need the Payment Page to show the correct date format. When using the [dates] short code it does NOT use the selected date format. It gives 19.01.2011 instead of January 19, 2011. How do I fix this? Is there anyway to put the PayPal button on the Reservation Page and not make it be a 2 step process?

        • Its issue is fixed at version 2.8, which have to come at next week.
          According Paypal button at the same page with reservation button, so sorry its not support, because we need to know cost before showing paypal form.

          • THANK YOU! How will I get the fix for the Hotel Version? (One I have). The automatic Reservation feature also has a problem in that while it approves it, it still shows and sends a note that it needs to be approved.

    Will version 2.8 Premium etc... include PayPal Express Checkout functionality?
    If not, is it on the to-do list?
    I'm sure you would agree this would greatly improve checkout conversion making this booking calendar an even more attractive plugin for WP.

I have the free version and it's working great for me but I need to make an amendment to the rate from a specific date and can't see how to do it wiothout changing the base rate defined. i.e. the rate is set at £115 per day and I want to change this from 9th April to £130 per day. I can see that I can enter a percentage of the £115 but how can I set the rate to exactly £130?

    • You can enter this cost at the Availability and settings menu page using rates button.
      You can enter 113,04 in procents,
      or select not procents but curency and enter direct cost per day 130.

  8. Hello, on the Availability Calender, are tree States in the legend:
    - Available#- Booked#- Pending#
    How and where i can translate those to german?
    - Verfügbar# - Besetzt# - Reserviert# ???

    I am implementing the Hotel Edition version of the Booking Calendar plugin... and I have an issue with the shortcode [visitorbookingcancelurl] (i put it in the confirmation email) : seemingly it is not working...
    Can you help me, it's urgent!!

    • Hello,
      You need to create new page and insert [bookingedit] shortcode into content of this page.
      Then you need save URL to this page to the General Booking Settings page to field "URL for booking edit".
