  1. I'm developing a site for a yoga instructor. Is it possible require students to pay before they're allowed to reserve an open class?

    • Hello,
      Right now payment can be done only after reservation is made. You can also set at the payment settings posibility to auto cancel reservations after specific time, which have not been successfully payed of not approved by admin.

    Is it possible to send emails (reservation sent, reservation accepted, reservation canceled...) in plain text instead of HTML format ? If so how can I change that ?

  3. It is possible to take credit card info to secure a booking, no need to actually run a transaction, but I am just curious about security and if it is possible to secure the form?

    • Hello, right now at Premium and higher versions support Paypal and Sage payments systems integration. Booking calendar is not support direct processing with credit cards info or store this info.

      • Thanks, we are not looking to actually process the cards. We want to take a card to secure a booking and process it manually on our end. We just want to make sure we can do it securely. Thanks for your help!

  4. I'm using the premium version.
    I want to set up multiple appt in one day:
    "9:00am - 9:50am" "10:00am - 10:50am" "11:00am - 11:50am" "1:00pm - 1:50pm"
    These are Free info session phone calls.
    When someone signs up for a time slot, I want that time slot to immediately become unavailable for others.

    My settings:
    On the General Tab:
    Under the 'Booking form settings' I have the Use fixed time checked.
    Start time: 09:00
    End time: 13:50

    Under the 'Booking table setting' I have the Default Time Format g:i a
    ?How do I use the custom -I am Los Angeles time zone.

    On the Fields Tab:
    Select Time: [select rangetime "9:00am - 9:50am" "10:00am - 10:50am" "11:00am - 11:50am" "1:00pm - 1:50pm" ]

    On the Payments Tab:
    Under 'Cost of each booking resource'
    Info Session: 0
    Please enter cost 'for 1 hour' of each booking resource.

    On the Cost and availabilty Tab:
    Under 'Cost of each booking type'
    Resource Name: Info Session
    Resource Cost: 0 USD for 1 hour

    On the Resources Tab:
    Under 'Booking resources management'
    Resource Name: Info Session
    Capacity: 1
    Parent: -
    Priority: 0

    • Hello Vanessa, thank you for detail description. I can suggest from it that you are using Hotel Edition version. You are need to uncheck "Usage fixed time" on the general booking settings page. Because this option is overwrite your time from booking form. Also according time formats, please check it at the PHP manual of time entering.   5. Hi, I bought the full version (hotel) of your plugin and I've installed it for a tour(s) booking system.
    I've been messing around quite a lot but still can't figure out how the "visitors" work, I'd like to:
    - Change how many "vacancies" we have on each tour for each day
    - Show the user how many available "vacancies" there is for each day
    For example, I've a tour for a maximum of 20 people (another day can be 40), I want user be able to book for more than 1, how should I set up this in your system? If I create 20 resources with max visitors =1, won't do the job, If I create 4 resources with max visitors=5, neither, isn't there an option to just say: 1 resource, vacancies=20 and that's it? Please help.

    • Hello Frucomerci,
      For one booking resource can be set fixed number of capacity (child objects) and maximum value of visitors. So its not possible to set for one date at calendar maximum 20 and for next date maximum 40 (here can be trick, you can set maximum 40, but make reservation at that date, which have 20 for blocking other 20).
      according settings of Maximum number of visitors and “vacancies”. At plugin is exist 3 ways of manipulation, which depends from value "Visitors number apply to capacity:" at the Booking > Settings > Resource page is it checked or not.

      1) If this value is not checked, so then visitors selections at the booking form is not apply to the reservation capacity; its always make reservattion of one “vacancies” and capacity of booking resource at specific date(s) is reduce on 1.

      2) If "Visitors number apply to capacity:" is checked and you have first value of radio box "Show at tooltip on calendar availability based on free booking resource items.
      Check maximum support of visitors at one booking resource with selected number of visitors from booking form:"
      . So then yuo can set maximum number of visitors for booking resource. During reservation process its will reserve only one “vacancies” per reservation. the system will not allow reservation, when user select at booking form number of visitors, which is more then at settings page - maximum support visitors.

      3) If "Visitors number apply to capacity:" is checked and you have second value of radio box Show at tooltip on calendar availability based on summ number of visitors, which can be at free booking resource items. Check maximum support of visitors at all booking resources with selected number of visitors from booking form:
      During reservation process its can reserve one or several “vacancies” per reservation, which depends from number of selected visitors at the booking form and from maximum number of supported visitors per booking resource.

      So for your needs you have to do next:
      Select 3-rd variant ("Visitors number apply to capacity:" is checked and you have to have second value of radio box)
      Set capacity of booking resource to 40 ( or 20, depends from maximum possible)
      Set Maximum number of support visitors to 1 for booking resources.

      Hope its clear now.

    • Yes, you can chnage it at Booking > Settings > Payment admin page at the sections of Paypal and Sage.

  6. Is it possible to set the calendar up so it doesn't automatically reserve the days? We would like to use it as a multi property enquiry where we only block the days out after the customer has paid the deposit and filled in the full booking form. At the moment other visitors may be put off of enquiring as the properties appear to be booked. But that might just be somebody asking a question about facilities and availability.

    • Hello, right now this functionality like in your description is not possible. But its possible to set auto cancellation of specific reservations after specific period of time, if they was not payed or not approved. So by this you can set automatically availability for dates, which was not approved or reservations was not successfully payed.

    I use the Pro version, and need a new [CODE] in the email template. I have search in the code, but I can't find where to put the new code.
    I need the new [CODE] in the mail for: Email to "Person" after new reservation is done by this person.

    Can someone help?

    • Hello Jasper, what exactly short code do you need ?
      All short codes is described at the bottom of each form for email template.
      This type of short code "[CODE]" is not exist.

          • I have search in the code, and I can see some place in the where there are some replacement of fx. the [NAME] tag there replace [NAME] with the name for the booking. I have tried to add [pdf_mail] but it does not replace with the link I create. In which file should I add this, because I can't find the right place?
            I know it's supported but I would like to added by my self.

    How do I display more than one calendar within the admin "Add Booking" screen?

      At version 2.8 this feature is not supported. You need to have access to the DB for changing number of calendars there. So if you have I can describe what need to execute.
