Hi!
I have had issues loading this booking system with internet explorer, have there been any known php issues with this plug-in and internet explorer? Thanks. Works well with chrome, safari and firefox.
Hello,
The Booking Calndar have to work fine with Internet Explorer, so I can suggest that its can be some conflicts with exist theme or plugins.
Can you send link to your site for checking it, also which version of Internet Explorer do you use ?
Thank you.
I have had people with ie 7 who have had problems viewing it, i will find out the specifics in the next week about what version they are using and if their are any errors related to it not working on their computer. I have independently tested it but havent had any problems viewing it in ie. If their is anything you can suggest by looking at the link please help.
Kind Regards John Tanios
I will recheck also it. And thank you for your reply.
Hi there,

Hi,
I have Premium Plus version, am I able to assign different nightly rates for 3, 4, ,5+ nights in different seasons e.g. 3 @ $200, 4 @ $190, 5 @ $180 in April, 3 @ $180, 4 @ $170, 5 @ $160 in May and have the calendar add up the correct amounts for the different seasons, used filters to assign different nightly rates for the different seasons, when inputting nightly rates for 3, 4, & 5 days in the 'Cost for Selected Days', it only seems to allow one block of costs for the entire calendar ??, am I able to assign a second block of costs to show the 3,4, & 5 day discounts for another season ??, am I able to assign these to the filter ID ??
Appreciate any help.
Thanks Steve.
Hello Steve,
Right now, its not possible to assign fixed "Cost which is depends from number of selected days" for some speific season filter. Its cost settings is apply to all days, do not depence from the seson.
But you can set some discount value, which is based on % from the whole final cost. So for exmaple you can set 99% for the 3 days selection, 98,5% for 4 dayse and so on. This settings will apply to the diferent cost rates, which is depence from seson filters. So if you have cost per day for May as $200 and cost for June as a $250 you will be have final cost for the 3 days selection: for May (3*$200*99%) = $594 , and for the June (3*$250*99%) = $742,5
May be this info will be helpfull for you.
Hi,
Thanks for the reply, if I have a different daily rate throughout the year how do I go about setting different %'s for a range of days, e.g. 3, 4, 5, 7 days etc to show that discounts if a guest books that amount of days ?
Thanks again for any help
Regards
Steve.
Hello,
Firstly you need to check at the payment settings page that you setup cost per day (not the cost per night or any otter variants. If you need to have cost per night, you can just set at the "cost depends from number of selected days" for the second day as 0, it's will be the same as you use cost per night.
Then if you will go to the "cost and availability settings" page you will see new buttons nearly each bookimg resource "Cost depend from selected days". So just use instruction from previos comment then.
Hi Thanks,
Am I able to assign a different % for the same amount of days booked depending on the month / season ?, e.g., for May (3days*$200*90%) & for June (3days*$300*95%) ?? can't see how do it this way ??
Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards
Steve.
Hello Steve,
No you can not assign diferent % for the same amount of days based on season filter. Sorry.
But because you will have different value (rate) for the different season, the final cost after applying % also will be different.
Hi,
Yes, that's the issue I am having, I am unable to show correct discounts for the different months / seasons on the calendar, it only allows one set of discount figures which will be assigned to the complete calendar and not a specific month / season, any ideas to get around this...
Right now the (discout) rates can be assigned to the sesons of your booking resource.
Also other type of discount ( which depends from number of selected days by visitor fo booking) is apply to full period, and not depence from seson.
But more complex discount system, which are depends from seson and from number of selected days togather is not supported yet. I will add it to my todo list to have it at some future versions update.
Thank you.
any workarounds / ideas to get over this issue....sorry but this is disappointing that the calendar is not able to do this....
I will set higher priority to this task, for having it at the next update of Booking Calendar
Hi,
I'm using the Premium Plus version of the plugin and have a couple of problems.
When 'Allow Multiple Days Selection' is ticked (to allow the user to book slots on multiple days) the 'rangetime' will not disable any slots that are already booked.
When this isn't checked and I only allow for one day to be booked at a time then the slots that are already booked are greyed out fine.
For example, I have an approved booking, 16th March, 13:30-14:30 - when 'Allow Multiple Days Selection' is OFF everything works as it should, a user selects 16th March on the calendar and the 13:30-14:30 slot is greyed out in the select box and unselectable. When 'Allow Multiple Days Selection' is ON then the slot is not greyed out and is selectable, is there any way around this? Is it a known bug and do you plan on fixing it?
Also, is there any way to limit the front-end form to one month while not limiting the admin form? So users coming to the site are shown a maximum of 1 month, but at the back end the admin can add a booking on any date?
Thanks in advance,
Scott
Hello Scott,
according your questions:
>> 1) For example, I have an approved booking, 16th March, 13:30-14:30 – when ‘Allow Multiple Days Selection’ is OFF everything works as it should, a user selects 16th March on the calendar and the 13:30-14:30 slot is greyed out in the select box and unselectable. Its known feature. The disabling of specific time is available only in single days selection mode, because during multi days selection mode, the start time from select box its "check in" time for first day of selection, and end time its "check-out" time for end day of selection days.
So thats why in multiple days selection is unknown, what eaxactly time to block if for exmaple visitor not select only start day and not select other end day. and so on. Hope you can immagine this "situation", thats why its work only in single day selection mode.
2) Also, is there any way to limit the front-end form to one month while not limiting the admin form? So users coming to the site are shown a maximum of 1 month, but at the back end the admin can add a booking on any date?
You can dissable "arraows" of shifting monthes inside of calendar inside of CSS file, so visitor will see only one month, and can not shift to other month.
Thanks for the reply,
I thought the feature was for booking a recurring slot on multiple days, for example 9:30 - 10:30 on the 16th, 18th and 21st of March. Is this not a feature? If not I guess the only way around it is to only allow for a single booking at a time.
I realise I could stop the user selecting another month, but I want the user to see a month's worth of dates, if it was the 29th March and I stopped the user going to April, they'd only have 3 dates to select from.
The current functionality of limiting to 1 month is perfect, if I set it to 1 month and view on the 15th, last date I can select is 15th April, this is exactly how we need it to work on the front end, we'd just like to allow admin to create bookings further in the future than the user can currently book. So if we had the calendar limited to one month, it'd be absolutely perfect on the front end, but when it comes to creating a booking through the back end, it would be useful for an admin to be able to create a booking any time this year, or any time in the next 2 years, etc.
Basically, I'm trying to allow the admin to not be restricted by the limitations put in place for the client/user, I feel that while the user should not be allowed to perform certain actions, admins should not be put under the same limitations, I'd like to be able to stop a user making a booking for 9 weeks down the line, but I don't think the admin should be prevented from doing so.
Thanks for the help, great job with the plugin, I just feel it's missing a few options to make it brilliant.

Its feature is require additional customization for you. ITs a paid service. If you are interesting in this customization, please contact by this email info @ onlinebookingcalendar.com with this detail info.
Thank you.
Thanks for the help, look forward to the update.
With regards to the paid work, I think that if required I'll develop the feature myself, it might be worth considering making this part of an update at some point though, it's functionality that I know a lot of people would find useful, I don't see the point in forcing administrators to be put under the same limitations as the front end users and I think this is the biggest problem with the plugin.
Like I said, I think you've done a great job, I just feel it's missing a few key components you'd expect from a plugin of this price.
This feature is at todo list. So it's will be available at some future updates.
Thank you for your suggestions.
How can I ensure that the email and telephone number is added to my 3rd party database management system like Aweber/constant contact/ infusionsoft?
Hello Dian,
All client data are store inside of client WordPress DB. Its work at client site version not web service as other solutions.
Hi there,
I'm using the Hotel version and I was wondering if it was possible to auto approve reservations.
Thanks!
Hello Jonathan,
yes you can do it. For this please go to the Booking > Settings > Payment page and at the Payapl and/or Sage sections, make checked Auto approve checkbox.
Auto approve feature is work only for reservations, which was successfuly payed.
You need to set correct configuration of return URL at payapl and/or sage sections and make corect configuration at Paypal/sage site.
At the Paypal settings sections is description how to make this configuration.
Hi,
I need to add an optional fixed price item, which is to cover the cost of heating a swimming pool, at £70 per week.
I need to add in the cost depending on how long the person stays, it's not £70 for the whole stay. How can I deal with that?
How can I add an extra 4% to paypal payment s for bookings to cover the paypal charges?
Thanks 🙂
Hello Rob,
if you want to add extra 4% to the final cost of reservation, so then at the Premium Plus and Hotel Edition version is exist advanced cost managemnt section, where acn be assigned additional cost based on selection of selectboxes or/and checkboxes. You can set required checkbox and then set addiotnal cost as 104% at the Payment settings page.
Please test it at live demo.
Hi, How do I make book just for one day? I don't see the option to choose length of day.
Hello
You need to uncheck "Multiple days selections" option at the general booking settings menu page
Thanks for your reply. I mean I'm only doing one day events. For example, event will be held at April 1st. I only want that day to be show/available on the calendar instead of the whole month.
Hello,
you can do it using season filters definition (define there you one date), and then at the "Cost and availability" settings menu page set available only day(s) from your season filter.
How can I show bookings for specific time on a day and availability of my resource for other times in a day on the calendar. It seems that it just shows days in the calendar and if somebody does book a resource for couple of hours, that entire day is shown as occupied. What I need is hourly breakdown of times in a day for the calendar to properly display the availability of my resource to the user. I am using premium version.
At the premium version if some user is make resrvation at specific for selected time, that day is marked as partially booked. And other users can make resravtions at same day but in different time.
Please note, if you use multiple days selection at calendar and time selection, so then partially booked days become only start and end days.
If you use single days selection and also use range time selection from selectbox (predefined time slots), so then specific day will be partially booked if some time slot inside of this day will be available, if all time slots for specific day will be booked so then this day will become unavailable.
Hi,
I have set the currency to Euros.
the [cost_hint] result will be '€10' where the correct format should be '€ 10,00' , where the ',00' should always been shown.
Since the intelligence is there, I hope a small correction can be done, or can I do it myself or now somehow please?
