  1. I am running multiple apartments and want to show the calendar for each on its particular page using a sidebar widget. Hoever, there only nseems to be one instance of the widget - can this be adjusted?

    • Hello,
      At the current version 2.8 version is supported only one widget at sidebar. At the next update of nooking alendar at the sidebar will supported multiple booking widgets.
      Right now you can use special php hook code to insert booking form into any place of site. So you just need to know at which php file to insert it. Here is detail info about it https://onlinebookingcalendar.com/faq/#faq-3

      • I'm running version 3 Professional and I have the same problem as StevieG. I have multiple apartments and would like to have the booking calendar in the sidebar with the possibility (via a pull down maybe...?) to reserve dates for a particular resource. The problem still seems to be that only 1 resource can be booked, meaning the others are redundant.

        Placing the calendar in the page works fine with the right resource ID, but I really would prefer to have the calendar in the sidebar.

        Any plans on a fix for this?

          "New booking form widget with possibility to select the resource at the top of widget"

          But right now this feature is require the customization, like in description here

          • Thanks for answering, but will this code place the calendar in the sidebar and look and work just like the widget does but with the added bonus of being able to select the resource? i'm not a big fan of too much hard coding.

            According to your Features list, "Support of Multiple booking sidebar widgets" is already an item in the paid versions.

            Can you please let me know when it will be supported? Maybe by email?

            • Yes, it's possible to have several widgets for the different booking resources at the paid versions of 3.0 version. But there is no posibility to select the booking resource inside of the one widget. It's just support several widgets for the different booking resources.
              If you want to use the selection of booking resources from selectbox, so then you are need to use instruction from FAQ.

              • Hi, thanks once again for your quick response and help.

                But I think I prefer to wait until this option is available within the widget. i've been using your calendar for a couple of years now as a shortcode on pages and it works great. I'm in the process of rebuilding the site based around a new premium theme and I want to leave the theme code intact where possible. But with this new theme the booking calendar would look better in the sidebar.

                For now I'll just keep it on the pages.

                Could you let me know by email when this update will be ready?

  2. Hi I am looking at installing your plugin, I would like the ability to take a deposit per day or full payment from a customer on our site, would I be able to do this using the advanced cost management system, I am looing to purchase premium plus edition as it apears to do everything else we require.
    Also I'm pretty sue I can just edit the forms as we would like to add some custom pics etc for some labels/ guessing this isn't too much hassle? I have reasonable coding knowledge

      1) right now deposit payments is not possible, but already exist at the development of Premium Plus version and will be available at the next update of this plugin. So you can able to get this update for free, when its will be available and you are purchased Premium Plus version. Deposit payment feature is working based on setting fixed cost for deposit payment or % from the whole bookings.
      2) yes, its possible to customize the booking form, using HTML tags, so I think you can make this.

      • hi thanks for the quick reply, is there an expected time of completion for deposits atm?
        Would we not be able to use discounts to fudge this to work until the correct system is written, so a customer would be charged a lower rate, ie deposit. and then the remaining amount, always taken in cash, is taken upon arrival.
        (this is for a small campsite where most only want to pay a deposit and remaining balance upon arrival)

          1) the new update have to come already soon.
          2) at the Premium Plus or Hotel Edition version you can customize at the Booking > Settings > Fields page the required checkbox, and then at the Booking > Settings > Payment page set at the advanced cost management sections the % value, which will be your deposit payment. (For example: 10%, so when visitor will check this checkbox the final cost will get only 10% from original).

          • sorry I'm not sure I get what you mean, do you mean the new update will come soon?
            and the intructions for how the new deposits WILL work when they are released and not if we can use the discounts function as a deposits scheme?

            • 1) Yes new update have to come soon.
              2) the instructions was about exist version, which can be used already at actual version. At the new version, you can set deposit value at the specific menu (deposit payment feature will be available at the Premium Plus and higher versions)

    Im am interested in using your product for a rental booking system for camera equipment and such.
    Is there a shopping cart or similar feature that allows users to book several different products and adding up totals?

      right now the shopping cart functionality is not available yet at the booking calendar, its will be exist at the some future versions update.

        • Sorry, its still in  development process for the future updates.

          I am hope that its will be available in the second update.

  4. I want to use this booking facility for a client who offers places for students on a course. There will be a number of places on each course, not just one. Can the fields be adapted to do this? For example, if there are 10 places on a course on a particular date, then 10 people should be able to book through your system.

    Can you clarify if this is possible.

      this functionality is available at the Booking Calendar Hotel Edition version. At this version is possible to set capacity of Booking resource. So day(s) in calendar will be available untill number of reservations is less then capacity of Booking resource.

  5. I am also looking into something which will also schedule baseball lessons for a client. Can you please update as to how this is working for Lamia?
    What kind of tech support will we have if we buy this? Is there support setting it up? If not, are the directions clear and simple? thanks.

  6. Hello,

    We're looking at the Hotel Edition for one of our customers. They rent appartments with a minimum duration of 1 week, but show monthly prices, i.e. 750 euros per month for a given appartment. Is there a way to use monthly price and have the system calculate the price for 1,2,3 weeks automatically? In the demo's, I've only seen pricing information "per day" for instance. Can you enforce minimum reservation durations, like minimum 1 week (7 days) ?

    Next, is there a way to customize the outgoing E-mails so that we can have them localized? The site will be available in 3 languages; while I understand that the front-end is WPML ready, what about the E-mails?

      1) If you have the cost per month, so the inside of Booking Calendar you can set day per day like this: your_month_cost / 30
      2) You can set minimum days selections (as a 7 days) at the general booking settings page by checking "range days selection" and selecting days selection using 2 mouse clicks. then you can set minimum number of days selections.
      3) Next update of Booking Calendar will support localized emails, booking forms, search forms... So you will receive this update for free if you make purchase it now.

    On the professional version - is it possible to do the following:

    Hotel rooms for booking, customer books 1 week (Monday 1st to Monday 7th). 2nd customer wants to book Monday 7th to Monday 14th, but currently customer 1 already has Monday 7th so cannot book. Can rooms be set to 'book out' at a given time, like 10am - so customer 2 can book from 10am Monday 7th to Monday 14th?

      this functionality is exist at the Booking Calendar Premium and/or Premium Plus versions. At this versions you can activate at the general booking setting page the fixed start (set start and end time of booking). Also at the same page you can activate range days selections, to be able to select 7 days in one or 2 mouse clicks.
      Please test it at live demos of these versions.

  8. Is it possible to sync the booking calendar entries with MS Outlook?

    • Hello, sorry right now the sync with MS Outlook is not supported.

    • Right now Booking widget is not use Caching at the widget.

  10. Hi,

    I'm going to be purchasing the Premium Plus edition for a client's beach house website. After the form is filled out and the user clicks 'send', is there a summary page where the user can confirm their details?

      After visitor is fill the form and press send button he can see the payment form with short description of selected days and booking resource title (this description you can set at the Settings > Payment page at the Paypal or Sage section) and cost for this resrvations also the Pay button for making payment.
