Hi,
How can I get a list of all the booking types in PHP? What I'm trying to do is get all the booking types available, so we can select the type on a custom meta dropdown and be set on that "post" as the referenced "booking type".
So basically: What is the code needed to get all booking types outside of the plugin's pages?
1. If I bought let's say the Premium package and after I buy it I decide that I want to upgrade to Premium Plus, is that possible? Would I pay the difference or how would that work?
2. If I buy a single user, and later my company grows and I need to add a multiuser would I be able to upgrade or is that not a possibility? Would I pay the difference or have to purchase for full price.
3. Can I use this plug in on more than one website?
4. I am having trouble figuring out which package to purchase. Below is what I need it for. Could you suggest a good starter package for me?
I have a dog walking business and I need clients to be able to book services using your booking calendar. I am trying out the free version and I really like it. I am trying to decide between Premium and Premium plus. Here is what I need this booking calendar for. I walk dogs in packs and offer three pack walk times per day. Each pack walk has 6 slots available. I need the capability for clients to be able to see the reservation as available until all the slots get filled up. In between those three walk times, I want to be able to book hourly services for example to take a dog to get groomed or to the vet, etc. I also want to be able to block out days if I want to take a day off. And last but not least I want my clients to be able to use pay pal to purchase their reservation online.
Let me know what you think!
Hello Ness,
1) Yes it possible to make such upgrade. The cost is little higher than difference in cost. The upgrade from Premium to Premium Plus single site usage version is cost $244. Its only not possible to upgrade from single site usage version to multi site usage versions.
2) In general yes its possible, but its require custom request.
3) Multi Site usage versions can be used on more than one your site or site of your clients. Its not possible to make this upgrade from single site to multi site usage versions, so you need to purchase multi site usage version from begining. You can make upgrade withing multi site usage versions from low version to higher versions. Like from Premium to Premium Plus multi site usage verisons (this upgrade for exmple is cost $444).
4) If you want to have that your day will be available until number of reservation is less then capacity of your slot (6 - dogs ), so then you are need Hotel Edition, version, where is possible to set this capacity for booking resource. At this version you will need to have 3 calendars, each for your package, and each booking calendar set capacity as 3., So then the day will be available untill number of resrvation is less then capacity. Please note, in this version the resrvation is making for full day not for a specific time.
If you have in specific package your 6 resrvations (slots) in different time, so then you are need Premium Plus version, where is possible to configure different time slots (but this version have not capacity feature) for resrvation during a day.
At the Premium Plus and Hotel Edition versions is possible to set some days as unavailable, based on your season filters. Also at Premium and higher versions are support Paypal and Sage paymentes systems integrations.
So please retest live demos of these version to be sure in functionality.
When I activate the Booking Manager Plugin, the WordPress drop down menus on my site do not work.
How can I fix this?
Thanks.
Hello,
Please recheck for JavaScript errors at the page. Also please try to deactivate other plugins, then activate this one and after start activate one by one other ones for finding plugin, which is generate this error.
Hi, I have purchased the Premium Plus version for a client's beach house website, however I am having a lot of difficulty with the cost settings. I need to specify costs for certain periods of the year and for week long stays as well as 3 or 4 night stays, for example;
25th July - 4th September = £5250 per week
5th September - 31st October = £3500 for 7 nights and £2500 for 4 nights or 3 nights
Can you please explain how I can implement this? I'm finding the settings quite confusing, and am very worried that it may not be possible now that I've delved deeper into the plugin.
I hope you can help.
Thanks,
Lawrence
Hello Lawrence,
you need to create 3 Season filters for 25th July – 4th September: (1st: 25-31 Jul, 2nd: 1-31 Aug, 3rd: 1-4 Sept) at the Settings > Filter page.
then you need to assign at the Booking > Settings > Cost and availability page rates for these filters as £750 per day, so its will be = £5250 per week
The same actions is possible to do with "5th September – 31st October = £3500 for 7 nights", create 2 filters and assign rates as £500 per day (£437.5 if you mean nights in description).
The more problematic is setting cost for 4 nights and 3 nights, because this settings is not depend from season filters and apply to the all days. But you can check how its possible to assign it. You can click at the same page the "Cost for selected days" button. Then create 2 new options, select "Together" second field for each option and set 4 and 5 selected days (which is mean 3 and 4 selected nights) and set cost £2500 as final result, if will be selected only these number of days. But its still is apply to all days not only the "5th September – 31st October"
Hi. Thanks, I'll try that now. Sounds quite complicated though!
Hello, I have added season filters, but they aren't corresponding with the booking form on the website. The same cost still shows throughout. Also, when I select one day, it says £750, then if I select another day, it still says £750 until the next day where it will then add it up to £1500. For some reason the second day I select doens't get added tot he total cost. any ideas?
Thanks
I can suggest that you are select cost per night, not the cost per day, thats why its show the same cost for one or two selected days. You can change it at the Payment settings page.
According rates: after setting of filters you need to set rates (and make them active by checking checkbox nearly each active rate at left side of rate row) at the Cost and availability settings menu page.
I've got the premium version but I can work out how to enable vistors to change or cancel pending bookings.
I'm using the short code [bookingedit] , but it only shows the paypal button to pay and no option to change the booking.
Hello,
Please open Booking > Settings > Email page, and check at the help section under email templates forms several shortcodes for links of: booking editing, booking cancellation, or link gor payment request.
found it!!! Thanks
Hi,
Does this plugin support international currency's? We are a uk based business with hotels worldwide including Africa?
Many thanks,
No10 Design
Hello,
Yes it's support all currencies, which are supported by Paypal and/or Sage payments systems.
You can check actual list of supported currencies at live demo at this page Booking > Settings > Payment at paypal and sage sections.
Hi there,
are there any recommended themes to use with this plugin? I ask this to prevent javascript errors and conflicts.
Or turn the question around if the above is unknown which themes are known to create conflicts?
Hello Doris,
I can not make any recommendation here. But if you will have any conflicts, please contacts and we try to help you for solve them.
We have the Premium package because we need customers to be able to book a particular rental item for set time periods in a day (the item will be rented 3-4 different times each day). When people look at the calendar, we need them to be able to see what time slots are still available for that day and which ones are already booked. It would also help if we could pre-define those time slots (for example 10:00-12:00, 12:30-14:30, 15:00-17:00, 17:30-19:30 as being the ONLY times that you can book the item).
How can we go about doing this in Premium? The most important part is that the customer MUST be able to see what times are available and booked for each day, otherwise the software DOES NOT help us at all, because the customer will still call us, which is what we are trying to prevent.
Thanks so much for your help!
Hello Trevor,
Its possible to show only available timeslots and DISABLE time slots at select box, which was booked.
For this you need to have at the Booking > Settings > Fields page using the time range shortcode for time selection, some thing like this: [select rangetime "10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 - 14:00" "14:00 - 16:00" "16:00 - 18:00" "18:00 - 20:00" ]
Also you need to uncheck possibility for multiple days selection at the general booking settings page for having single day selection functionality.
Okay, I'm figuring it out as I go now. Can you take a look at my domain and tell my why the calendars are not showing up? Am I encountering some sort of conflict with the java? Site is: https://www.newportfuntours.com I am currently getting the booking software running using a test server, but I cannot get it to come up with my current template...
Hello Trevor,
you are have JavaScript error inside of darkslider of your actuual them:
Error: $ is not a function Source: https://swaggerindustries.com/newportfuntours/wp-content/themes/darkslider/js/filterable.pack.js Line: 5
So thats why calendar is not showing. If you will fix it, so then the calendar will show up.
the issue can be here: jQuery from google is loaded after the loading of that javascript. For solving the problem, please try to define loading of jQuery from local version of WordPress (from your site), but not from google site: 'https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.1/jquery.min.js?ver=3.1.1' .
I think the loading from google is setting by some plugin or by your actual theme.
BUMP!- I need this function also, i am not clear on what admin stated: So do you have to manually block out the customer selected time or does it automatically mark the schedule when a customer selects the time?
You need todo several steps for activation this function:
1) at the General Booking Settings page make unchecked "Multiple days selection"
2) at the Booking > Settings > Fields page use this shortcode type: [select rangetime "10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 - 14:00" "14:00 - 16:00" "16:00 - 18:00" "18:00 - 20:00" ]
I'm having another issue. When I originally set up the Plugin, I input the Admin email address as "info@mydomain.com" Now, I have changed it to "reservations@mydomain.com" but ALL of the notifications are still going to the old "info@mydomain" email address for some reason. No matter what I do, they keep going to the old email address and not the new "reservations@mydomain" address. How can I fix this?
Hello Trevor,
You need to change email at the General booking settings page and also at the several fields of Booking > Settings > Emails page.
That's exactly what I thought, so I did that. For some reason it still continues to send to the first eamil address I set up ("info@mydomain"). Is there something else I can try?
What version do you use?
WordPress 3.1.1 and Booking 9.Premium.2.8
Try to chage one more time at the Booking > Settings > Emails page the emails ("To:", and "From:" fields) to your new email, then try to make new reservation and check it.
If you will still have a same problem, please send to eail info @ onlinebookingcalendar.com screenshot of full page of the Email templates. and link to the page with booking form for checking it.
Thank you.
using this on my WordPress site on a mac I cannot cancel bookings even when logged in as Admin?
Hello Zoe,
Please send screenshots of the admin panel to email info @ onlinebookingcalendar.com and link to the page where is inserted booking calendar form. So ww will check it then.
Tank you.

Hello Lawrence,
