I want to use the standard booking Calendar as a booking system for training. I only need to list one training course at a time. Is it possible to have multiple bookings for the same day in the standard version.

sorry, its not possible at the standard free version. Please check live demo of Premium version (if you want to make bookings in different time during a day) or Hotel Edition version, if you need to set capacity and make several bookings during a day (do not depend from the time).
I was wondering is there is a way to setup a fixed Depost and then have the days booked as part of the intial booking.
Example:
Refundable deposit of £100
5 days stay £15 per night.
Intially the customer pays in total £175
Can this be done under the same booking resource?

this functionality is possible to configure at the Premium Plus or Hotel Edition version.
1) Firstly you are need to create new required checkbox field at the Booking > Settings > Fields page. Example: Deposit: [checkbox* deposit "" ]
2) Then at the Booking > Settings > Payment page at advanced cost managment section set for that value additional summ as 100.
3) So at client side, your visitors will must tocheck that checkbox (as it required field) and the final cost will increase on summ of deposit value.
You can make upgrade tothe one of these versions using link at the top right side of Booking Settings menu page.

Then set 75 at the Booking > Settings > Payment page at the advanced cost managemnt section for the selection of this option "cleaning".
2) You will need to open Booking > Settings > Cost and availability menu page, then click at the button "Cost depend from number of selected days"
After you are need to create and set values for dayse like:
"Togther" - 7 days = 525
"Togther" - 8 days = 600
....
"Togther" - 21 days = 1575
....

I recently ordered the premium edition of the booking calendar, and am having difficulty with the Paypal auto-approve feature. I have the boxed checked in the Payment options, yet it doesn't seem to be working. I have to manually go in and approve each submission. It worked for a few trial runs when I first configured the site, but since then I don't think I've changed anything, and yet it doesn't auto-approve. Any ideas??
I am using WordPress version 3.1.1, the Twenty Ten theme, and the only plugin activated is the 'Booking Calendar'.

I currently am using the free version of the booking calendar and I am loving it so much I want to purchase the plugin. I have a few questions. This is going to be used for a dog walking service. I am offering three time slots a day to walk dogs as well as other services that would require a different time slot in the day. I need the capability to be able to have several people reserve the same time slot to have their dogs walked. I also need to be able to have my customers pay with pay pal. It's a very basic site that offers a few services and mainly I just want to offer my customers the ability to reserve and pay for services. I want to know which version you think might be best for me. I am thinking of the premium? Do you think that would be a good fit? Also if at any point my business grows, and I want to move up to premium plus, would I just have pay the difference to upgrade or would I have to purchase the plug in at it's $375.00 price? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Booking form not showing booking confirmation.
I've been using the Premium Plus edition of this site and am about to launch it, however have noticed that the bookings form has stopped showing the bookings conformation message when a booking is made - it just remains with the spinning"star" animated gif.
The booking does actually go through and appears as pending in my admin area, and I can go on and approve it etc, but from a usability perspective my customers will not know that their booking has been accepted without this message.
Are there any security settings etc that need to be set for this to work?
I also have the Booking Manager p,ugin installed and wondered whether this might be a problem
Oh, and one last comment - I am running this site on a windows server not a Linux one.
Removing the Booking Manager plugin has resolved this issue, however we ideally would like to use these two products together. Is there a fix to this?

at the Premium and higher versions are exist posibility for auto appove bookings, which was successfully payed.
You need to activate "Auto approve/cancel of booking" at the Booking > Settings > Payment page at Paypal and/or Sage sections.
This feature is require correct configuration. So, when user is made successful payment you will see the status of it at admin panel.
You need to create 2 new pages at your blog, one for successful payment redirect and one page for redirect after cancellation of payment by visitor.
Then you need to save link to this 2 pages to the fields at the page Booking > Settings > Payment ( fields: Return URL from PayPal, Cancel Return URL from PayPal).
Then you need to checked the field: Auto approve/cancel of booking.
After you need to make this configuration at you Paypal site account:

I don't want automatic approval after payment. My client is asking the automatic approval only after making the booking itself. After the booking the client doesnt want to get any email and the user directly gets the approval mail of the booking and in the back end the pending should be automatically become approved (in the booking area). automatic approval without any reason right now, is not supported, but in your case the pending and approved bookings is not have any differencies.
So you can configure at the Booking > Settings > Emails page the "Email to "Person" after new reservation is done by this person" as a email template of approval booking, and set its active. You can also set deactive some other email templates, like "Email to "Person" after approval of booking".
You can set active/deactive email templates by checking checkbox at the top right side of each email template sections.

After booking has been done the booking details(or the form details from the front end), in back end they are seen pending (orange color). My client wants them to be in approved blue color but not in pending after the booking is done from the front end. Since in our site there is no payment section but just booking only, we have to see them approved automatically when the booking is done. Please help me on this as soon as possible

I have the calendars looking as I like but when they click the calendar to select their dates, there is no button to book the reservation. Does the form have to be added on the homepage or is there a way I can have a "Book Now" button that takes them a page with the form based on the dates they selected?

I think you are insert only the booking calendar, without form. If you are use insertion by short code inside post or form, so then just reinsert it using booking form paramter at the popup dialog. If you set it at the widget, so then change parameter of showing booking calendar to booking form.

Is there any way to just have the button appear under the calendar to book or take a user to a booking form? I dont want to have teh long form on the home page but instead a button to take users to booking form.
