I have premium 2.9, only recently purchased, every time I log into WP I see "1 pending booking" on the dashboard, but when I click it I have no pending bookings.... very annoying. How do I correct this anomaly?

Please select the option to view "All incoming bookings"
Then make cancellation or approve of that Booking. It's situation is possible, when you are deleted some booking resource, which have some pending bookings.
There are NO bookings of any type, but the dashboard still shows 1 - how do I resolve this?
Try to open (view) at the Booking admin page all your exist booking resources.
If that will not help can you send screenshot to this email info @ onlinebookingcalendar.com?
Is worse than I thought, dashboard shows 1 actual AND 1 pending, but I have none.
Resource just shows the two I set up (5 & 6)

Did you delete any booking RESOURCES? I am suggest that booking, which now showing as pending (and actual), its booking from that deleted resource(s).
So that's why I am need screenshot of page Booking> selection at top selectbox: "All incoming bookings"
for rechecking that.
Email sent, I deleted the default resources that were included with the installation.
And did you know that after I submit a comment here the tech board order gets reversed? Meaning I either have to keep clicking newer comment or re-click the Tech support link.
The 1 booking in pending and actual list – its bookings from deleted standard resources (the booking itself is not deleted during deletion of booking resoure).
These example booking have 3 days as reserved. Its mean that 1 pending/actual booking in those list will not showing in dashboard, after 3 days, when these 3 days will be in past – before today date.
So you can leave it as it is and after 2-3 days its will not showing.

Unfortunately editing here changes nothing. I am editing directly in wordpress online. by the "Editing booking/css/client.css" it says (inactive).
so anything I change within the css does nothing.
Is this dependent on upgrading or am I just missing something completely!

Its, ok, that its show this file as inactive (acitve files only - php).
If you do not see any chnages after editing of that file, try to use !important keyword, its possible that your CSS property is owerwrited by some other style. So its can look like this:

What I want is that customer can type his credit card and credit card will be stored in the DB, but not charged.
Is it possible to have this option, ether pay online with Paypal or just enter credit card for later use (so it can be offline charged).

sorry, its not possible. right now is possible just standard integeration of Paypal Standard or Pro, Sage and iPay payments system integration.
So all payment transactions and payment data stored inside of the payment systems not inside of calendar data.

Sorry, right now such functionality with posibility to make firstly free booking and after pay for that is not available.
If you want to make some discounts, you can use coupons discount system, which is availbale at the Hotel Edition version. Please test it at live demo.

The booking works great, I have come across one thing though, I have a booking from 06.00 to 07.59 and a booking from 08.00 to 09.59. i move the first booking to another top level resource, which works fine.
I then go to move the second (this resource has no other booking except the previous one) and I get an error saying that it can not be moved, "Warning! The resource was not changed. Actual dates are already booked there."
Is there a setting to alter to fix this? your help is appreciated

If you are make this move of booking from one sub resource to other sub resource in the Hotel Edition version, so at this version is possible to move or make booking for some SUB resource, only if full day for this specific SUB source is free. So it's mean that, if even some reservation for other time will be inside of this resource, so then you can not set other booking for other time in the same date for this Sub resource.
These description is only for hotel edition version for resources wit capacity more then one.

Normally its not possible to make some kind of groups in actual versions, but may be you are mean something else and ther can be done some trick, so need more info.

In other words, different groups have different sets of resources (maybe same kind as resources found in other groups)- but only members of a particular group can choose from the groups own set of resources. So, as far as Ia munderstood you are need to restrict access to the booking form for the specific users.
I think you can make it in little other way. You can create several password protected pages/posts, insert into these posts your booking forms for specific booking resources, and inform password to the psecific post to users of your sepecific group.
Groups of the booking resources at the booking calendar is not supported.

you are need to create 2 filters: one from 20-30 of November, second from 1-7 of December. Then assign new rate at the cost and availability settings for your boking resource for these 2 new filters.

I need a booking system where people will be able to book at two days a week, but at different start and end times [range time] for each day. For example Wednesday people should be able to book all day from 08.00 a.m to 08.00 p.m. and Saturday only from 04.00 p.m to 08.00 p.m. Is this possible to configure?

The reservations of time slots is possible at the Premium and Premium Plus versions.
But if you want to show different list of time slots , if visitor select different day of week so then it's not possible.
Its possible to list all time slots, which are available at the booking form and then visitor can make reservation there.
So in your example you can have 3 time slots 08:00-20:00 08:00-16:00 and 16:00-20:00
But you will need manually to book 08:00-16:00 for each Sat at admin panel, so then this time slot will be unavailable for other visitors at the Saturday as 16:00-20:00
Please retest this functionality in live demo for to be sure in functionality and everything works, before making purchase.

I see it is possible the way you describe. However I will work with 15 minute time slots. So in my example I’ll have to manually book 4 x 8 = 32 time slots each week (08:00-08:15, 08:15-08:30, 08:30-08:45 …….. 15:45-16:00). That is a lot of manual work to make the booking system work for me.
Will you be working on the feature of setting different list of time slots for different days? To me it seems a very essential feature for a booking system. I suppose many dentists, doctors offices, hair dressers etc. in the world will work at different hours each day.

Matt you actually asked pretty much the same question that i had. I am trying to set it up so people can book appointments at 1 hour time slots but having the time slots vary from day to day. I was wondering if there is any function where the "customer" on web page can click on the day they want and then the time availability on that day are shown. From that list of times they can pick their time and book an appointment, making that time slot on that day turn "unavailable" if someone else comes to look at that same date. Hopefully you can understand my general question 🙂
At actual version at the tooltip is showing only busy time, so visitor can book any other time, as you knew.
The feature of showing only available time, probably will work, only if you use predefined time slot list. Using timerange shortcode. This feature is not available yet and hope its will be vailable at some close updates. Regards.

However, as mentioned, I consider it crucial in the future to be able to choose different time ranges for different days. This will also ensure the developers an even broader audience. Now, it seems, mostly hotels and house rentals are using the plugin. If customizable time ranges for different days were included the plugin could also be more precise targetted at the "consultation based" small business'es (doctors, dentists, hair dressers etc). The tooltip function - I am a litte afraid - does more harm than good. It may scare away opt-ins at the specific date as the calender at first sight looks full even though there may be 20 time slots available. For my purpose it is good enough that the drop down bar makes busy time slots non-selectable.

If I don't pay, the old booking is lost ! And the new (19 august) is pending and not paid !

Modify link in email templates is mean that visitors can access to the booking form with own previos booking and can chnage dates or some personal data inside of booking form. Sometimes for customers this functionality is needed. If you do not need it, so please just remove that link.
