  1. I am having an issue with the paypal payment emails. The link that is being generated and emailed takes the users to the homepage of the wordpress site. My assumption would be that the link is supposed to take them to a payment page. Any idea's on why this portion isn't working? The rest of the features seem to work great! - Thanks

      • One last piece of information. I think this may have something to do with the generated Hash? It looks different on the online demo with the newer version... The payment link sent in the email is a page that doesn't exist. (I think)

          Its seems that you are not configured correctly.
          1) please create some post or page, where insert this short code: [bookingedit]
          2) save link to that page at the general settings booking page at the field: "URL for booking editing"
          Now send your payments requests and make testings.

  2. hI,
    i would like put a delay in my reservation. I would live to keep users to reserve a room 2 day after the date of the day.
    For exemple today is the 2011/06/09 I would live to keep users to reserve a room from the 10 and 11
    Can you help me please?

      sorry, this feature at the actual version is not supported yet. I will add it to todo list and its will be availbale at the next update of Booking Calendar plugin.

  3. Great plugin,
    Bug : I like many users of WP organise all my WP files in a directory ~/blog but amend appropriate WP files so that any one entering the root address doesn't see the ~/blog but instead sees permalinks that show the pages as if they are in the root directory. This configuration causes problems as your booking email has a hyperlink to the incorrect site address on the last line which if no other redirects exist will give a 404 error.

    On the auto generated email you are pulling the directory name of where the files are [referred to as WordPress address (URL) in the Settings>General] whereas the declared URL of the WP site is infact the URL referred to as Site address (URL) in the Settings>General.

    Another issue i think is caused by my html incompetence. Under the calendar displayed in the widget, I can't make a link (the bookings page) to display or work. Which ever html I enter doesn't display as a link.

      Thank you for your comments, I will add these items to todo list for fix them.
      According widget link, you just need to write full link at the widget settings. By default there is just temp example.

    I love the plugin and its worked great so far. I have a client that was wondering if there was a way to see all reservations in one view or calendar. Does this functionality exist?

      Right now at verdion 2.9 this functionality is available only at the admin booking panel. There you can select to view all reservations at one page.

    Your plugin is great.I wanted to ask if is it possible to set up a search functionality on a Hotel Edition where it will search on different rooms and its availability on a specific date and display results. If is has these functions already, how will i set this up?

    • Hello,
      The search functionality is exist at the Hotel Edition version. You can insert search form into the post or page by using booking button at the edit tool bar and after selecting search tab at popup dialog for inserting it into the post.

          Its simple procedure.
          1) Firstly you are need to configure your booking resources, and make insertion then some booking forms into your post(s) or page(s) at Hotel Edition version (because all search of available days is worked between booking resources, which are inserted into the posts or pages as a booking form).
          2) then you can insert into your post or page your search availability form, for this open the wordpress edit post page, then click at the booking button at the edit toolbar. Inside of the popup dialog select search tab, then press Ok (insert) button. Make update of this page for saving changes. Now later you can test search functionality at this page.
          3) Open Booking > Settings > Search page. Check the configuration of search form settings, change it if you are need. At the bottom of this page, please click at the clear cache button for rescan all posts/pages, which is contain the booking forms, and where system will search the availability. You have to see then how many posts, was found.
          4) Test it at the page from point #3.

    I have been using booking pro for some months, which is great, but I need to make select and check box form elements 'required' fields, but when I try and do this the function doesn't seem to help as I would expect.       You can set ceckbox as required field (at versions 2.8 and 2.9 and later) by setting this * symbol into the shortcode. So it's will look like this [checkbox* somename ""]

      Select box, it's by default required field. It's by default have some value as a selected so it's not require to use * symbol.

  7. Hi, I'm considering buying this great plugin for a customer, but I have a question about the payments...
    The PayPal payment method doesn't allow to pay with credit card without forcing the user to create an account. I mean that when I click on "Pay" button I'm redirected to a PayPal page where I can choose only between PayPal login or new account creation. Is this a plugin default setting? Can I set some option to allow simple credit card payment?
    I've noticed that on other sites the user can pay by credit card using PayPal as gateway, but without creating an account.

      Actual versions 2.9 Premium (and higher ) are support Paypal Pro integrations, which make possible to make payment without creating paypal account at the paypal site.

  8. I have a small spa, no more than 5 technicians. We need to schedule appointments in 30 minute incraments.

    Already using an on line booking system and their system goes down a lot. If you could tell me if your service would work for me that would be great. I installed the free version. It doesnt show anywhere in the blog? What is up with that? can i direct link to it?

      If you need to make reservations using 30 minutes time slots, so then you can check live demo of Premium or Premium Plus versions, where is possible to configure time slots selection. You can test live demo here https://onlinebookingcalendar.com/demo/
      The time slots selection you can configure at this page Booking > Settings > Fields using timerange shortcode.

      According inserting booking form at the free version. You can insert booking form into post or page, using new booking button at the edit toolbar, so then a popup dialog you can select your parameters and insert booking shortcode into the post page.

    Your plugin is pretty cool. Can we use customized email template for the booking confirmation letter? or does it reads html tags to customize the emails?

    • Hello Chris,
      you can test the customization of email at the live demo of any paid version here . Just open the Booking > Settings > Emails page and then you will be able to make this cusomization.
      Email templates are use html tags for email customization, and some specific shortcodes relative to the booking system. All help info are inside of that page under the each email templates.

  10. Hi, we just recently purchased your premium plus version for a client. I am running into two issues with doing multi-room reservations on this page.

    1. If I select any dates and then hit the Continue to Step 2 > link, the Total Cost ([cost hint]) just keeps spinning. Not sure if it is because there are multi-rooms. It is working on the pages that only have one calendar.

    2. If I do not select a date in the first calendar, then I get an error message when hitting the submit button saying I haven't selected any dates, even though I did select a date on one of the other calendars.
