  1. Thanks for the reply. I have installed the premium version (and it is working fine using the shrotcode) but the booking button does not appear in the toolbar. No javascript errors and I deactivated most of my plugins. Any other suggestions?

  2. Hello,

    I am having trouble getting multiple booking resources on a single booking page.

    Essentially i'd like customers to be able to book accommodation (I have the Hotel Edition) along with an airport transfer and fishing trip during the one booking process.

    Can this be done?

    • Hello Dylan,
      if you need to make some additional service reservations with general booking setting page, you can customize at the Booking form (at the Booking > Settings > Fields page) the list of checkboxes for selection these additional services, like airport transfear and fishing trip. Then at the Booking > Settings > Payment page you can set additional cost at the advanced cost managment section, if one or several these servces are checked.
      You can also check this info, but I am do not sure that its can be usefull for booking aditional services, like in your description.

      • Many thanks, that worked. One more question, How do I now capture this information in the booking confirmation email? Its not getting pulled in by the [content] short code.

        • Hello,
          Please check that at the Booking > Settings > Fields page at the second form at the bottom of page, you are configure all short-codes for all exist fields from booking form. So then you will get all info into the [content] short-code at the email template.

  3. Booking Form: Changing Start Time End to Start Date - End Date
    Looking to change the booking form submission to show Arrive Date and Departure Date, rather than Start Time / End Time

    • Hello Lee,
      right now at the Booking calendar can be used only inline calendar, its not support right now text field for setting check in/out dates. All dates for resrvation have to be selected inside of inline calendar.
      Time of booking you can remove from booking form or can rename the titles near these shortcodes at the Booking > Settings > Fields page.

    I just downloaded and installed the plugin. But when I try to do a test reservation I get the following error message:

    Error during inserting into BD
    [F:/wpdev-booking-ajax.php|L:322|V:2.9|DB:Unknown column modification_date in field list]

    I'm using WordPress 3.1.3 (swedish language) and your latest version.

      The installation was unsuccessful.
      Please open wordpress plugins page.
      Then click at deactivate link of booking calendar and wait for message that plugin deactivated successfully.
      After press on activate link of booking alendar and wait for message that plugin is activated successfully (important !).
      Then test it.

      Then click at deactivate link of booking calendar and wait for message that plugin deactivated successfully.

        Unfortunately, it didn't work. It says both that the plugin has been deactivated and then activated. I tried it a couple of times. Same error message 🙁

        • Try to check at the Booking > Settings page at right side option "delete booking data during uninstall" then save a settings and repeat previos steps.
          Also if it's not help, try to delete plugin after deactivation, then upload it again and make activation.

          • I have tried everything now, same error still. I have also tried setting the booking-map to 777. I tested in chrome and explorer. I don't know anything about AJAX, could it be something with the server?

            • The problem not in Ajax but in correct creation of tables during activation. So please set the per Idaho to 755 not 777.
              Also please try to check at the phpMyAdmin that you are deleted booking tables after deactivation of plugin then try to activate it.
              Also if you still will have a problems, please send to this email info @ onlinebookingcalendar.com screenshots of phpMyAdmin of booking tables.

    This is a very stupid question...
    I just bought the premium + edition.
    I can't find a way to create new booking resources .... I need to maje 5 booking types for 5 houses to rent.
    I thought it was in "resources" > add a new resource... but when I want to add a resource, I get the message : "Error during adding new booking resource into DB [F:/wpdev-pro.php|L:667|V:9.Premium.Plus.SingleSite.2.9|DB:Table 1561119-1.wp_bookingtypes doesnt exist]".
    So the question is : how do I creata my resources ?

      its seems that installation of update was not successful.
      So
      1) please open WordPress > Plugins menu page, then click at the deactivate link of Booking Calendar.
      2) wait for message, that plugin is deactivated successfuly.
      3) then click on activate link of Booking Calendar
      4) wait for message that plugin is activated successfully (!important)
      5) now test it.

      If you are still will get the same error message, so then please open phpMyAdmin for checking DB and check, that you are have permission in bookings tables for their modification.

    • These functionality is exist at the Premium Plus and Hotel Edition versions.
      Firstly you need to check, at the Booking > Settings > Payment page, that you are set cost per day (not per night or per hours..),
      Then you need to open Booking > Settings > Cost and Availability page and click on "Cost for selected dates"
      after you can add 3 cost configuration - select first option there as "Togather" then set 1 or 3 or 7 days and then set full cost for all of these days.

  8. How long should it take for a confirmation email to arrive to someone who has booked a date? I'm testing the free version...email confirmation is included, right?

    • Hello Phil,
      yes, you have to receive emails in free version also. If you do not receive emails, please check these items:

      1) Please check firstly the spam folder.

      2) Also check that at the general booking settings page and at the email settings page was set correctly emails contacts.

      3) Also check that your php mail function is working. For this go to the login page and try to retry the password, then check if you receved email or not.

      4) Finally if it's will not help try to change email at the general booking settings page to wordpress@server.com , where server.com - your server. Here is more detail info about is issue

  9. Setting up Pro edition.
    Is there a limit on the number of days you can select? Appears to be that I can only select 50 days at a time for any one booking...

    • For increase the number of days selection,
      please open the /booking/lib/wpdev-booking-class.php file,
      find this code:
      var multiple_day_selections = 50;
      and change 50 to your number.

  10. Hi

    I am about to purchase the Premium edition. Does this edition allow check for availablity? So say a room1 is reserved for a date, this date is no longer available?
