  1. Hi. I'm not sure if I posted this question correctly in here, so here we go again. You said earlier, that it would be part of the new version, that once you clicked the PayPal-button, it would take you to a Paypal page where you wouldn't need a PayPal user to purchase the product. So once you click the button, all you need to do, is fill in your creditcard-details, press accept and BAM - money in my pocket :D.

    Oh, and by the way. I'm using the danish version of the Booking Calendar, but there are some translations I would like to change. But I'm unable to find that button in the Poedit program you have given the nice tutorial to. It's the button in the Backend that in danish are called 'Beregn Pris', which means 'Calculate Price' - but the buttons function really submits a reservations without charging any money. The button might say 'Book Now' in english, with a wrong translation. How do I fix this?

    • Hello
      1) you need to have payapal pro hosted account for beagle to configure it at the Booking > Settings > Paent page at paypal section. So then when your visitors will make reservation they will be redirected to paypal site and there they can just fill required usual billing details there, without creating the paypal account.
      2) please recheck more detail the PO translation file according changing this info.

  2. Hello!

    I am using the Standard (free) version.

    I sell activities which are available only on certain (different) days of the week. I wish to know how to set different calendars to publish on each of these activities page's.

    In case I didn't make myself clear (it happens...) I'll try with an example:
    - Product 1 is available on Mondays
    - Product 2 is available on Tuesdays and Fridays

    I want to publish a different calendar in each of these products' page:
    - for Product 1, a calendar with availability on Mondays
    - for Product 2, a calendar with availability on Tuesdays and Fridays.

    Can it be done? If so, how?

      These features are available at Premium Plus and Hotel Edition versions.

  3. Thanks you for your fine application.
    We are using the Premium version.
    When trying to book a same day reservation (it is morning now), vistors get a "Start Time is invalid, probably by requesting time(s) already booked, or already in the past!" error.

    • So, probably the visitors are select the time in time selection list, which was already in past, if they selected today date.

    • Hello Kiwi,
      at that page are exist JavaScript errors, thats why the Booking Calendar is not showing.
      The reason of that errors, can be in conflicts with some your plugins or actual theme. Do you install the new plugins during these times ?
      Please try to deactivate one by one other plugins to recheck, what plugins is make this issue. Also, if its will not help, try to make the same with theme - deactivate it and activate defualt theme.

  4. Hi, I would like to see if this is possible: The user clicks "book a trip" and is taken to a page with thumbnails/logos/descriptions of the different services we will offer. The user would then click on the logo/thumbnail of the service they want to book. Then they are taken to the page where they will book their reservation and choose dates and options.

    Is this possible?

      yes its possible, if I am understood you correctly.
      You will have a menu "book a trip", after clicking on this menu you will get to the page with thumbnails/logos/descriptions and links to specific page with this service. At that new page you can insert the booking form, where your visitor can make this resrvation. You can test the workflow of resrvation process at live demos

      you do not have calling of jQuery library script at the head of page. Probabaly your actual theme or some other plugin is redeclared it. So please recheck that your actual theme have calling of jQuery libarary in the top of HEAD, or try to deactivate your actual plugins for rechecking, according blocking by some plugin this declaration.

  5. If i bought Professional Ver and after i need to upgrade to Premium Ver
    Do i need to pay full cost of Premium Ver or i have option to pay only for the difference or any price?

    • Hello Jiraz,
      Its possible to make upgrade from Professional to Premium single site usage versions, but the cost of upgrade will be little higher than difference in cost between 2 versions. For example, the upgrade from Professional single site usage version to Premium single site usage version is cost $119. Other version upgrade have some other differnce in costs.

  6. Hi, I am using the premium version and am wondering if I do a booking that is multi-day can I book something for that room during the night. For example I have booked a meeting room for every Thursday in August from 8:30am - 4:30pm, but is there a way to book that same room from 5pm - 9pm without booking that Thursday day meeting multiple times?

    • Hello,
      Yes its possible at Premium and Premium Plus versions. You just need to create one additional time slot selection at the Booking > Settings > Fields page.

      • Do I call that [starttime] and [endtime] as well or something else?

        • You can also use these shortcodes, but it's allow you as other visitors to enter any time of booking.
          If you want to use only specific time slot selections so then you can use something lime this: [select rangetime "10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 - 14:00" "14:00 - 16:00" "16:00 - 18:00" "18:00 - 20:00" ]

          • thx for the reply but if there is a pre-existing booking for say Aug. 1 - Aug. 5 how can I book that room on Aug. 3. Currently I am not able to access any of the dates that fall into that range. Maybe I'm missing something.

            • If the days fully booked, like August 2, 3,4 dates; so then its not possible to book one more time at same dates at same calendar at Premium Plus or Premium versions.
              If you use check in/out time for booking, so then only August 1, 5 is partially booked. And you can make additional bookings only for these dates.

    I recently bought the PRO version then uppgrade to the HOTEL version to get what I need, but I still can't get what I need, and I can't find any documentation, so I write here my problems, hoping you could help me.
    My client has got an hotel with type of rooms (of ressources in your app'). EG: 4 rooms "Montain view", 3 rooms "Lake view". The prices are differents. On the website each type of room has got is own webpage with descriptions, photos and booking form. A general booking page is set to.

    Here are my questions :
    1) How can I associate a booking form to a type of room and not to a particular room ? EG: I'd like the clients to book by selecting a type of room (example: "Lake view rooms") ? Of course the booking will be effective on one of the 3 lake view rooms.
    2) On the general booking page, I'd like to pass parameters to the booking form: the type of room . What should I add to the "[booking type=1 nummonths=1]" short code ?
    3) How can I display the price of each type of room on the type of room's webpage.

    • Hello Stéphane,
      1) You can create several booking forms customization at the Booking > Settings > Fields page
      then, because you will use for each room type own page and own custom booking form, you can open wordpress edit page or New page menu and then click at the edit toolbar at the booking button (with calendar icon)
      at the popup dialog you can configure the booking form parameters:
      - you can select your booking resource - room type
      - you can select the custom booking form for this booking resource and page.
      - you can configure some other parameters.
      Then you need press Ok button for insertion it into the page and Publish or update the page.

      2) You can configure all these parameters inside of popup dialog at the from point#1. But parameter, which is say, what booking resource to use its type=1, 1- its ID of booking resource.

      3) You can write some fixed descriptions about costs inside of your page, where you are publish the booking form, but its will be just some text.
      Also at the Booking > Settings > Fields page
      you can configure of showing in real time the final cost of booking for the visitors in tooltip, you need to use the shortcodes, like this:
      The full cost for payment: [cost_hint]

        I've got one more question if possible.
        I am not sure about my resources settings. I create 2 parents resources "Lake view rooms" and "Montain view rooms", and then the childs resources: 3 "Lake view room" and 4 "Montain view room".
        Is that correct ? Then after I set up the rates.
        But I still see in the search results: "Montain view rooms"
        Availability: 1 item(s). Max. persons: 1
        I don't understand why there is 1 item available and I don't know where to set the "Max persons" per resource.

        I think I miss something but I don't know what !

        • Hello,
          yes you are evrything done correctly. At the Search results have to show only links to the posts or pages, where is inserted parent booking resources or single booking resources. Please also reupdate the cache of search in the Booking > Settings > Search page.

          You will be able to set the number of maximum visitors per room at the Resource page, when you will activate, make checked, this option: "Visitors number apply to capacity:" at the general booking setting page (at version 2.8 or early at the Booking > Settings > Resource page), then you are also need to configure the radio button selection under that option, because those options will play different logic in availbaility counting of days. Just test it to feel the difference.

  8. After installing free version of Calendar, it displays two months and third month is partially visible and you cannot scroll out to further months in the future...how do I fix this before I upgrade to a paid version..?
