  1. Is it possible to have several calendars on the same page? And if so, how is the best way to do this? I know very little about WP, sorry!

    Cheers,
    Dan

    • Hello Dan,
yes its possible to have several different booking forms (calendars) at one page at paid versions of booking calendar.
You just need to insert several times, the booking forms into your post or page.
So these booking forms (calendars) will be one after other in that page.
You can even set the selection of the specific booking form using selectbox, to show only one booking form at one time. Here is description about it: https://onlinebookingcalendar.com/faq/#faq-selection-by-selectbox

  2. Hello. This looks like a great system. I have tried the free version and consider to buy Premium.
    I only have one question..
I want to use the system to book meeting rooms, and then I have to split in to several hours of day. (the users will input hours themselves, like from 08:00 to 12:00)
But is it possible to view a calendar with all the hours visible? I mean like if you choose september 1st. you can see that the room is booked between 08:00 and 12:00. When I do the testing I don't get to see that the meeting room is allready booked until I try to complete a new booking.

    • Hello Kjelli,
the posibility to book for specific time is possible at the Premium and Premium Plus versions.
      1) Firstly you need to uncheck multiple days selection option at the general booking settings page, to be able to select only single date.
      2) Then at the Booking > Settings > Fields page you can customize the fields for the time enetering ( [starttime], [endtime] ) or selections: ( [select starttime "12:00" "14:00"], [select endtime "16:00" "20:00"] or [select durationtime "00:30" "01:00" "01:30" "02:00" "02:30" "03:00"] or just use fixed time slot selections: [select rangetime "10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 - 14:00" "14:00 - 16:00" "16:00 - 18:00" "18:00 - 20:00" ] )

The booked time is showing in tooltip, when mouse over specific date. Also during making new reservation, is possible to show warning message, if selected time is already booked.

And if you will use the fixed time slot selection, using this shortcode: [select rangetime "10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 - 14:00" "14:00 - 16:00" "16:00 - 18:00" "18:00 - 20:00" ] , the booked time options in select box will be disabled, when visitor is select some specific date, so your visitor cannot select already booked time slot in this situation.
You can test it at live demo.

  3. Hello,

Is there a possibility to block out certain weeks per year where we can't accept any bookings, down to closure for example?

    • Hello Dagmar,
this functionality is exist at the Booking Calendar Premium Plus, Hotel Edition and MultiUser versions.
At these versions, you can define your dates at the season filter at the Booking > Settings > Filter page.
Then you can set these dates, defined inside of the seson filter as unavailbale for your booking resource at the Booking > Settings > Cost and availability page.
You can test all these functionality at the live demos of this version here

  4. Hello, I have Premium Plus edition. I have to insert rates for renting apartments (like normal hotel rooms).
I have defined season filtes to apply discounts on some day of the stay: in other words, for stays of 3 days I have to apply the standard rate, for stays of 4 days the filter apply a discount (4% off) on the 4th day rate, and so on for 5th, 6th and 7th day.
BUT if the customer book his stay 60 days before the arrival I have to apply the same discounted rate (= standard rate x 90%) for all the days booked.
At the moment the final discount (applied by checking a checkbox in the form) is applied AFTER days discount, so I have a total discount greater than simple 10% on standard rate.
How can I solve my problem?
    Thank you in advance!

    • Hello Alten,
Sorry, but right now its not possible to set the discount, which is depend from arrival day relative to today date (interval of days between the toaday date and arrival date), if I am understood your descriptions crrectly.

At the Hotel Edition version is possible to use the "coupons discount" codes for getting additional discount to final cost. So may be its will be usefull for you. You can provide the 10% discount code to the visitors, who start toyr reservation in 60 days interval starting from today. You can test it at live demo of that version. You can also make upgrade to this version, using the upgrade link from general booking settings page at top right side.

  5. Thank you very much. At the moment I have implemented additional discount editing php file, but the discount calculation is applied only on the final cost. I'll try to find a better solution in the future.
I have just one more question about season filters: is it possible to define a unique season filter across 2 months? For example "Halloween weekend" from Saturday 29/10 to Tuesday 1/11. It seems that I have to define 2 filters, one for each month...
I'd like to define a promotional price for all the days in the period 29/10-01/11 but if I define 2 filters then I'll have ti split che "promo pack" in 2 pieces... 🙁

    • Yes, you are right, right now you need to define 2 filters for such days definition. Sorry.

  6. Hi, how would I turn off the pending bookings changes to the calendar, so that multiple customers would be able to book the same day? Thanks.

    • Hello James,
The pending bookings can not be turned off at calendar.
But at the Booking Calendar Hotel Edition version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors will be able to make several reservations per full days. So days in calendar will be available, until number of reservations per these days is less then capacity.

      • Thanks for the prompt reply. That's what I would need, because I am using it for a restaurant client.

  7. I purchased the $175 version of your booking software and installed it in a fresh install of WordPress and I get the following message when trying to access the settings of the plugin: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page. I am logged in as the only admin for this site, what could be causing this? I really need to get this solved so I can get this site up and running.

    • Hello Christian,
please recheck that you are for sure are logged in as adminitrator. If you are not, so then please relogin as with administrator rights.
Then open the Booking > Settings page and at the right side at section "User permision settings" plese expand the "Show settings of user access level to admin menu" link, then set correct user permissions for each of your menu pages.
Then you can relogin as previous user and make configuration.
If you are think that you are logged in as admin, please send the link to the page, where you are see this warning and screenshot of that page to this email info @ onlinebookingcalendar.com

    • Hello Marcio,
sorry, this transaltion is not available yet.

  8. I wanted to know if someone booked a hotel room and did payment using paypal or sagepay ,how would admin will be notified that payment has been successfully received and we can approve the room for that client. Can admin check from plugin area if user has paid the amount or not?

    • Hello Marky,
firstly, when some visitor is make successfull payment, so then you have to receive the email from Payment system (Paypal, sage, ipay88) about it.

At the plugin side, if you have made the configuration at the Booking > Settings > Payment page at Paypal and Sage section of RETURN link from payment site to your site, AND your visitor is click at the return link after he made the payment,so then the status of booking will be chnaged to the OK at booking menu page. But if visitor will not click at the return link at payment site, even if he made the successfuly payment, the system will not know about the status of payemnt and will not chnage it. Its according current version.

At the future version updates, its process will be impoved for Paypal. The plugin will suport the IPN Paypal integration, which will not recure from visitor click on return link anymore, the system will know about it without that click.
      Regards.

      • so will i get all details like transaction id, payment URL, result from paypal on my mail?

        • Yes, you have to received this info from Paypal email, but please retest it for be sure, its can also depend from some settings in your paypal account. For more info about getting details in email from paypal you need to contact paypal support, but usually those info have to be in those emails.

  9. HI We just installed the Premium version and are having problems with time format. it is set for custom g:i a I have tested twice to book a reservation for 4:00 - 5:00 and I can only enter into the booking start time 04 and end time 05 BUT it reserves once submitted 9:00am - 6:00pm when I hover over the calendar. Also when we tried to edit this reservation we can go thru and make time changes but does not correct once we update this. We have no idea how to correct this problem. And we just started to use this plug-in. Can someone please help us here. We really don't fee the option is to upgrade this plug-in as we haven't been able to use the version we have properly.

    • Hello Aimie,
Yes you are right, the posibility to set time format in AM/PM mode is possible at the general booking settings page: "g:i A".
But this time format is apply only to the times list selections inside of the booking form. For exmple using these shortcodes:
      [select rangetime "10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 - 14:00" "14:00 - 16:00" "16:00 - 18:00" "18:00 - 20:00" ]
      or
      [select starttime "12:00" "14:00"]
      or
      [select endtime "16:00" "20:00"]

and of course to the showing of time at the resrvation list or inside of email templates.

Unfortunately, the shortcodes for the direct entering the times, like [starttime] or [endtime] is not support time in AM/PM format, its support only 24 time mode for entering the time, so thats why you are have those issues.

I can suggest, that you can create the time selections list, using these shortcodes, with 30 minutes interval:
      Select check in time: [select starttime "09:00" "09:30" "10:00" "10:30" "11:00" "11:30" "12:00" "12:30" "13:00" "13:30" "14:00" "14:30" "15:00" "15:30" "16:00" "16:30" "17:00" "17:30" "18:00" "18:30" "19:00" "19:30" "20:00" "20:30"] Select check out time: [select endtime "09:30" "10:00" "10:30" "11:00" "11:30" "12:00" "12:30" "13:00" "13:30" "14:00" "14:30" "15:00" "15:30" "16:00" "16:30" "17:00" "17:30" "18:00" "18:30" "19:00" "19:30" "20:00" "20:30"]

Please note, the configuration of these shortcodes at the Booking > Settings > Fields page have to be done in 24 time mode, but at the client side its will show time list selection in AM/PM mode, if you are set this time format at the general booking settings page.
