  1. useing the standard booking calendar: is it possible to set the checkbox: "send email notification about this operatio" default to not-checked?

    • Hello,
      At the standard (free) version emails are always sending after resrvation is created or approved or canceled by admin. At this version is not possible to deactivate sending of these emails.

    • If you are do not get the emails after specific actions, please recheck these points: 1) Please check firstly the spam folder.
      2) Also check that at the general booking settings page and at the
      email settings page was set correctly emails contacts.
      3) After check that at email settings pagev(if you use paid vesion)
      was checked at top right side of each section the option for sending
      emails.
      4) Also check that your php mail function is working. For this go to
      the login page and try to retry the password, then check if you
      receved email or not.
      5) Finally if it’s will not help try to change email at the general
      booking settings page to wordpress@server.com , where server.com -

  2. Is there a way to bring up bookings that are in the past for the purpose of making an invoice?

  3. We are running a small fleet of charter yachts (4). Each yacht can be at different locations at different times. Each location has different rates. At any location any yacht can run any one of 4 charters. One of the types of charter has to be booked by seats with a minimum of 6 seats before the charter is confirmed and a maximum of 15 seats in any case.

    Can your system handle all these parameters?

      Please recheck the Booking Calendar Hotel Edition version. At this version you be able to book several times at the same date (having for different resources, charters, different number of seats). Here is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in DB, but not play any logic in reservation).
      I am do not sure, how you are want to define the locations, but probably for each location you will have own resource, and then you can set different cost. Also at this version is possible to set different cost based on season filters and set additional cost based on selection of options from select boxes or checkboxes from booking from.
      So please test live demo of this version to be sure in functionality.

          Unfortunately right now there are no trials of paid versions. It exist only live demos, where is exist all functionality from any paid aversion.
          You can also download the free version from WordPress directory and test/use it.

  4. How do I allow customers to book a reservation from 11pm till 1am (following day).. My business is late night. I want customers to be able to book a table from 11pm local time till 1am local time (following day). And also not require them to book 23:00- question mark.. and instead book 11:00 pm - question mark. Thanks in advance. Please advise

    • Hello Adam,
      You are need to use the time slot selection shortcode, like this: [select rangetime "23:00 - 23:30" "23:30 - 24:00" "00:00 - 00:30" "00:30 - 01:00" ]

      Also for having time showing in am/pm format, you are need to configure time format at the general booking settings page, like this: "g:i A"
      but at the shortcode configuration use 24 time format, like in this example.

    I've inserted this in my Page.php file, and it works like a charm, however:
    The problem now is that the drop-down menu shows on every single page, and I want to show this only on 1 page.
    Is there a way to kinda tweak the code so it only shows on, f.x ?page_id=8

      So, yes its possible to have showing of the selectbox booking form showing only at specific page. Please check this code:

    I have 2 questions before I would commit to purchasing the plug-in:

    1. Will I be able to set available capacity for a particular event and only be able to see a certain number of tickets / reservations?
    2. If I am using the system for reservation only, will I be able to remove the "The cost for payment: $ 0.0" message under the calendar?

    • Hello
      1) the posibility to book several times for specific date is available at the Hotel Edition version, where is possible to set capacity of the booking resource. So it's mean that a dates in calendar will be avaibale until number of reservations is less the capacity.
      Please note, if your events, will be have different capacity (number of reservations) so then you are will need to create separate booking resources for each events, it's mean seperate booking forms.
      Also during inserting the booking form into the post or page, you will be able to select for insertion just Bookimg form or booking form with calendar. Please test live demo to be sure in functionality.

      2) you can remve that message of course. You can customize the booking form at the settings > fields page.

  7. I have one question.
    can i define in settings if a resource can be booked by a customer the same day that other customer leave, because is he's last booked day? (first checkout at morning, second checkin at afternoon).

    • Hello,
      Yes it's possible at the Premium and Premium Plus versions. You need to activated at the general booking settings page the "fixed time" usage and insert the start time and end time (for example start time 14:00 , end time 12:00).

      • Im trying in the premium and premium plus test servers and i cant book a day with have been previously booked :S

        Im online, im making something wrong?

        • You need to make configuration as at previous message and make test only for new bookings. If you try to book for previos booked days without that configuration it's will not work, because previosly dates was fully booked or checkout time is older then check in.

          • I made 5 new bookings in premium plus test server in resource #3 after modifying the setting and i didnt can book same day already book

          • Im show up partialy day (the clock) with a range selector in the form, i can book the last day of a previously booked reource, but if i did same thing when the first day of booking system show me up a warning message "Probably by requesting time(s) already booked, or already in the past!"

            Im really lost and i need to know that i can book a checkin/checkout day for two different customers to buy the premium plus plugin

              please recheck these items at the Premium Plus version:
              1) you are do not have any time shortcodes at the Booking > Settings > Fields page
              2) you are activate the "Use fixed time" feature at the general booking settings page (make t checked).
              3) You are set start time as 14:00 and end time as 12:00 under the "Use fixed time" feature at the general booking settings page (start time have to be older than end time)
              4) You are make tests at client side at the new (not booked yet days) and you are select more than one date. If you select only one date its will not work, because the start time is older than end time.

    I'm running a website wich is exclusive to my members.
    This means that they have already prepaid to use my facilities, and is not required to pay upon booking.
    I've tried to enable auto-approve, but it seems only to work with paypal enabled.
    Is there a way to do this?

      yes, right now auto approve feature is work only when paypal is activated. I will add it to todo list to have auto approve feature independently from payment feature in future releases.

        • Its not too deep, but require some preparation of code. So it's will be in next update.

  9. How do I modify the value of the 'page_style' variable in the Paypal button so I can select a certain page style that I have in Paypal?

    • Hello Danny,
      you can select different available styles of Paypal button at the Booking > Settings > Payment page at paypal section.
      If you are mean something else, please explain it more detail.

      • Thanks for your reply, but that is not what I meant.

        In Paypal you can design different pages for when people get sent to Paypal to make a payment (such as adding logos etc to the page). In the button you need to set the variable to the desired page. the ‘page_style’ variable in the Paypal button.

        Where would I find the code to the Paypal buttons to change this variable?

        • Ok, I am understood, what you are mean. Right now this parameter is not supported yet in booking calendar.
          But if you need to add it by yourself, you can make it by editing this file: /booking/include/wpdev-premium.php
          Just find, where the paypal form is start.
          Please note, if you will modify the source of plugin, we will not guaranteed correct work of plugin and support it.

  10. Hi there,

    I purchased a premium plus plugin, I'm going to use it for a villa rental website. Now that everything is installed and almost working i'm wordering why it is not possible to set the prices to a week. It is nice to have the possiblity to set day, hours etc, but is it possible to set the prices to weekprice and instead of working with percentages in filter for seasons to work with fixed week prices in these periods?!

    • Hello Kevin.
      The option "cost per week" is not available, because it's easy to set the same cost per date. You just need to set cost per week divided to 7. but still we will think about adding this option also in future updates. Thank you for your suggestion.
