Hello Again,
I'm very confused on additional visitors feature. I'm using the plugin to sell tickets for a specific event. I have set each day to cost a base price. However, even after specifying 100% for each additional visitor or ticket, the "price hint" does not change.
For example, I want it to work this way: An event on sep 20th, costs $25. After selecting the day I choose 2 visitors. The price hint should now read $50 or $75 if I choose 3 visitors.
Please let me know if this is possible and if so what I need to do to make it work.
thank you.
Andrew
Hello Andrew,
You need to set at the advanced cost management section of payment settings page for the visitors options, the values like these:
1 visitor = 100%
2 visitors = 200%
3 visitors = 300%
...
8 visitors = 800%
Thank you for your fast reply!
I tried that. It doesn't work. It still displays the same cost even when I select any number of visitors.
The cost for the available date is a fixed price. Very simple, but the multiple visitor feature is not being calculated.
I would really appreciate your help on this.
Strange...It is now working. I just applied the same percentages for all other forms and not just the one I was working with and now it works the way it should.
thank you!
Ok, good to know that its working now.
May be you are used some other form, where you are not apply the additional cost and thats why its was not worked.
Can you tell me if this plugin can add tax and cleaning fee to show these costs before the total price?
If so, can the tax be set county? Thank you
Hello Mariana,
all these additional fee configuration is possible at the Premium Plus and Hotel Edition version by using the checkbox or selectbox selection of specific options:
1) You need to open Booking > Settings > Fields page, and at the top form add shortcodes into your booking form similar to these:
<p> Cleaning (required): [checkbox* cleaning ""]</p>
<p> Tax charge (required): [checkbox* law_charge ""]</p>
Its will add to your booking form 2 required checkboxes for these additional services or taxes....
2) then you need to open Booking > Settings > Payment page at the advanced cost management section. Here you can see 2 new fields: cleaning and law_charge
So now you can set, these additional cost. Let say for the cleaning we will add additional $50 and for the tax the additional 6,5%, so then you need to enter in this fields: 50 and 106,5% values (without $ sign).
3) So now when we will make test at client side, firstly user can not make reservation without checking those fields (because they are required - * sign in shortcode), and after selecting the some checkbox the final cost will increase.
The tax can not be set to country, sorry. May be at the Paypal account its possible, but I am do not sure.
I am getting this error when I try to add a booking.
Any Ideas?

Hi,
I'm testing out your free plugin and so far looks pretty good. Can you tell me if it's possible to confirm a customer booking direct from the plugin to the customer email? I've looked in the faq section but can't seem to find an answer.
Thanks for your time
Hello Mike,
at the paid versions, you can customize the email templates of sending emails. You can insert there moderate link, which will direct you to the admin panel for making approve or cancel specific booking.
But, when you click at that link you are still will need to make login at the wordpress panel, and after this check this booking and click on Approve or Cancel button.
Regards.
I have two requirements that I'm not sure how to setup on the booking system. I need to setup different boards for the rooms of a hotel (breakfast only, half pension or full pension). I also want to know if there's some way to add supplement options to the booking and a price for it. For example book a room and have the option to buy an excursion or a bottle of champagne during the reservation.
Hello Angel,
this functionality is exist at the Premium Plus and Hotel Edition versions.
At these versions you can define at the Booking > Settings > Fields page the additional services, like (breakfast, half pension or full pension or some excursions etc. ) using checkbox options or selectbox options selection for the visitors. You can also define additional cost for this option selections at the "Advanced cost management" section at Booking > Settings > Payment page.
So if your visitors will select some of these services, the final cost will increase on some fixed sum or % from final cost, which you can define at the "Advanced cost management" section
Your right! I've checked this feature and it's great. I didn't noticed first. Thanks for your help!
I have a problem setting availability for multiple rooms. If I create a room type like "Double room" and then I create 50 rooms with this type when I create some availability for the main "Double room" this is not inherited by all the 50 rooms. It's a big work to set the availability for the 50 rooms one by one.
I'm missing something or there's a problem with the room types?
If you are talked about the Hotel Edition version, where you are define the some booking resource "Double room", which have capacity 50 (you are create 50 "child" objects for that "parent" resource), for be able to make up to 50 reservations until days in calendar become unavailable for reservation? So then if you want to set available only specific dates in calendar, you can make it only for the parent resource "Double room", and insert into the post or page the booking form of this "Double room" parent booking resource, so then you will see availability as you are defined at season filer for this resource.
Yes, I'm using Hotel Edition. I'm sorry but I've not fully understood your explanation. I've created a "Double room" resource with 50 child as you suggested. Now on the Settings >> Price & Availability option I have all the resources. But they don't seem to keep any parent-child relation.
Any changes of pricing or availability doesn't seems to change the child resources. To change pricing I have to edit all 50 resources! This is a lot of work that should be done very fast just changing the parent resource. But doesn't seems to work.
Hello again.
Firstly you are need to be sure that you are created one parent resource and 49 child resources at the Booking > Resource page (gather capacity of the parent resource will be 50). So you are need to open that page create one booking resource, for example with name "Double room". Then you are need to create other 49 resources, but set these resources as a "child" resources to "Double roo
" resource. For this select the parent element for these resources as "Double roo
". Then you can open Booking > Settings > Cost and availability page and set cost and rates and event availability only for the parent resource - "Double room".
Now you can insert into the post or page the booking form for this parent resource - "Double room" and test it.
Hi there, have been playing with a test install and it looks good. Is it possible to configure so the user can only select a week at a time - Saturday to Saturday - for instance? Looking through the documents I couldn't see how to achieve this.
Thank you
Garrett
Hello Garrett,
yes this feature is available at the Premium and higher versions.
You can activate the "range days selection" using 2 mouse clicks (or just 1 mouse click) at the general booking settings page.
If you will activate the range selection using 2 mouse clicks, so then you visitors need to click only on first and last days of reservations, all middle days will be selected automatically. You need to set at sub parameters the minimum days selection as 7, start date as "Saturday" and "specific days" selection as 7.
If you will activate the range selection using 1 mouse click, so then you need to set 7 days selections and start date as "Saturday"
Hi there... I just got Booking Calendar Premium and I wanted to get your opinion on what you thought the best way to do this is:
I am setting up the calendar for a shooting range with 9 handgun lanes and 4 tactical lanes. I want to reserve booking times in hourly increments from 10AM to 6PM.
I figure I can setup 2 resources - "Handgun Lane" and "Tactical Lane". How best should I setup the system so people can register in 1-hour increments, and when all 'slots' are full, no times are available for that day?
Thanks!
Hello.
You are need to uncheck the "multiple days selection" option at the general booking settings page.
Then you a need to use at the Booking > Settings > Fields page at top form the shortcode for selecting time, like this:
Please do not use other short codes for the time selection.
Thanks! That worked great...
2 Followup questions:
First Question: Can I use AM/PM style times in the timeslots, for example:
Time: [select rangetime "10:00am - 11:00am" "11:00am - 12:00pm" "12:00pm - 1:00pm" "1:00pm - 2:00pm" "2:00pm - 3:00PM" ]
Second Question: As I wrote above, I have 9 lanes, so I have 9 'slots' available for each hour... Is there a way to reserve these 9 slots in the Premium version, or do I need to list each slot nine times in the "rangetime" shortcode? Is this a function of the Hotel edition?
Thanks again!, and thanks for the quick response!
-Anthony
Hello,
1) yes you can use the time slot selections in am/pm format. For this you are need to set this time format at the general booking settings page. But at the time slot selections is still use this format: [select rangetime "10:00 - 11:00" "11:00 - 12:00" "12:00 - 13:00" "13:00 - 14:00" "14:00 - 15:00" ]
2) sorry, right now it's not possible at the premium version to set available time slot (for several resrvations). Probably you will need to create 9 booking resources and have 9 seperate booking forms with time same slots for reservations.
At the Booking Calendar Hotel Edition version, is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in DB, but not play any logic in reservation).
Hey there! I found the answer to Question 1 about military time... If you can just answer the second question...
I look forward to seeing a forum-based support system where you can search by topic 🙂

Hi, I have installed the plugin here https://www.leilighetimarbella.no/reservasjoner/ and choosen to show 12 months. The form goes outside the borders of my site. How to fix that?
Hello,
It's require the customization of CSS style.
Please open this file: ..../wp-content/plugins/booking/css/client.css
at line: 236
then find this code:
.datepick-inline {
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
and make this modifications:
.datepick-inline {
margin-bottom: 10px;
width: 575px !important;
}
The width number (marked as a bold) can be different depend from how many calendars you are need to have in one row, please try several widths numbers.
