  1. Hi!
    I'm running the Premium version, and I've stumbled upon a problem.
    I have setup the calendar with a [select rangetime ] with 3 options.
    When I book the first timeset, there is no problem. Everything works fine.
    But when I book another on the same day, the previous reservation gets available again.

    What am I doing wrong?

    We are currently using premier paid version. Client would like to turn of her process of confirming reservations in the back-office, is there a way to default all calendar bookings to automatically accept?

    • Hello,
      Right now auto approve is possible to activate only for the successfully payed bookings at the Booking Settings Payment page.
      Otherwise it's not possible to activate auto approve yet. I will add this item to todo list to have it at future updates.

    I need one more help. My customer wants to charge all the fees ahead (cleaning, taxes, rental and deposit) and he wants to include $1000 for deposit. So I need one extra field called "deposit" and it will always be $1000.
    How can I add additional costs other than cleaning and taxes?

    • You can make it at the same way, as you did it with other fees, so you are need to open Booking > Settings > Fields page, and at the top form add shortcodes into your booking form similar to these:

      <p> Deposit (required): [checkbox* mydeposit ""]</p>

      Its will add to your booking form 1 additional required check box

      - Then you need to open Booking > Settings > Payment page at the advanced cost management section. Here you can see 1 new field: mydeposit
      So now you can set, these additional cost as 1000 (without $ sign.)

    After one year of updates what if I want to keep the plugin up-to-date?
    Do I have to buy it another time (full cost) or there is a subscription fee or something similar?

    • Hello Enrico,
      After 1 year, you can prolong this period (getting the updates of the Booking Calendar) to next year for the 50% from original cost of your version.

    I need to have a minimum date selection of 7 nights, but giving flexibility for them to choose more days. Can you please let me know if this is possible? Your support and system are really great!

      This feature is available at the Premium and higher versions.
      You are need to activate the "range days selections" using 2 mouse clicks at the general booking settings page and set minimum days selections as 7.

  6. I'm getting the following error on the dashboard of my site when I open it up

    Although an admin, and the one who installed this (excellent) plugin, the settings and Add booking pages tell me I have insufficient priveleges.

    Any thoughts as to what the problem could be?

      probably there is some conflicts with some other plugin, which is make management of dashboard widgets.
      1)
      So please open this file: /home/fo20nhtt/public_html/wp-content/plugins/booking/lib/wpdev-booking-class.php on line 155
      and make modification from this:
      $sorted_dashboard = array_merge($example_widget_backup, $normal_dashboard);
      to this:
      if (is_array($normal_dashboard)) $sorted_dashboard = array_merge($example_widget_backup, $normal_dashboard); else $sorted_dashboard = $example_widget_backup;

      2) You can set the user permissions for each page of the plugin at the general booking settings page at the right side of page, after expanding specific settings sections.

      • Many thanks for the fast reply. Issue 1 has been resolved however I am still unable to access the Add Booking or Settings Pages (same priveleges problem).

          You need to log in as administrator, so then you will see those pages, after you need to change the user permission at the booking settings page.

  7. Hi there! I am asking a followup question to the thread I posted here:

    As a refresher, I have 9 lanes at a shooting range I want to allow reservations for. From our last conversation I know I can't make reservations for multiple identical timeslots, but how about this:

    Can I make one resource (lane) and assign reservation times of 9:01, 9:02, ... 9:09 for the nine-o'clock hour, and 10:01, 10:02... 10:09 for ten-o'clock, etc?

    I'm trying to make it so from one page, they can see all hourly reservations and not have to go to 9 different pages to see if a 10AM timeslot is available.

      Unfortunately, this is also will not work, because the time selection will intersect each other, and you will not be able to select the 09:02 start time if previously was booked time 09:01 for 1 hour.

      May be it's will be useful for you, here you can have 9 resources for each your "lane" but can select it at the top select box.

  8. I am looking to buy either premium or premium plus. We are a photo studio, so we need people to be able to book a full day in the studio or a half day in the studio. We also need clients to book specific time slots on specific days that we choose. We also run workshops on some weekends and in the evenings, so will need to have a maximum number of bookings for a specific saturday or evening?

    Which upgrade would you recommend, that covers these specific funcionalities?
    Is this possible to create? thanks.

    • Hello,
      I can suggest that you are need to have different form fields configuration for the different booking resources, because of having different time slot list for different resources. If it's right, do then you are need to check Premium Plus version. Also at this version you can set unavailable some dates, based on season filter.
      But please note, at this version, when some one is book specific time slot for selected date, this time become unavailbale for other visitors.
      So please check live demo of this version to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding. You can configure the time slot lust at the Booking > Settings > Fields page at top form. And probabaly you are need to deactivate the multiple days sselction option at the general booking settings page for having single day selection modes.

  9. If I have three difference calenders (resourses) on different pages... will they sync? Becuase we rent space for different things, so when it is booked for one 'resource' it cannot be booked for another...

      Sorry, but there at plugin is not exist such type of sync.

  10. I'm looking to purchase the premium plus version. Is it possible to not have unavailable time slots show up in the drop down? I don't want people to try an register only to find the time they wanted is unavailable.

      right now at exist versions is only possible to make DISABLED, some booked time slot in selectbox, but not possible to remove them from selectbox at all. Sorry.
      This feature is available at the Premium and at the Premium Plus versions.

      So for configure time slot lits, please firstly open the general booking settings page and make unchecked this option " Multiple days selection", its will give you possibility to select only single day inside of calendar(s).
      then open the Booking > Settings > Fields page and at the top form, please make these configuration of time selections:
      Selet your time slot: [select rangetime "10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 - 14:00" "14:00 - 16:00" "16:00 - 18:00" "18:00 - 20:00" ]

      Its will give to visitors, possibility to select the time slot inside of the selectbox, if some specific time slot is booked for selected date, its option will be UNAVAILABLE (disabled but visible) in selectbox.
