    I can't seem to get the booking system to move to the payment page. Chosen payment method is PayPal. I have tested it in both Live and Sandbox modes.

    I have the site currently set for manual aproval for bookings, I can't seem to get it to aprove bookings automatically.

    Also, on manual aproval, when the booking has been approved and a total sent the e-mail to the end user/tester is not ariving.

    Please help - I'm finding the set up and intergration of this plug in VERY frustrating

      1) the payment form is not showing at your page probably because of you are not set active payment system or the cost of booking resource is equal to 0. So please recheck that at the Booking > Settings > Payment page at paypal section the option "Active" was checked. And the booking resource have the cost higher than 0.
      If you will have a difficulties with this configuration, please send the screenshot of this settings page to this email info @ onlinebookingcalendar.com, I will help you then.

      2) If you want to activate the possibility for auto approve the successful payed booking or auto cancel bookings, which was canceled in payment process, so then you are need to make some configuration at the PayPal section at Booking > Settings > Payment page.

      You need to set this options: Return URL from PayPal and Cancel Return URL from PayPal
      also you need  to set checked this option: Auto approve/cancel of booking

      And make this configuration:

      For using this feature you must have activated auto return link at your Paypal account - at paypl site. Follow these steps to configure it:
      1. Log in to your PayPal account.
      2. Click the Profile subtab.
      3. Click Website Payment Preferences in the Seller Preferences column.
      4. Under Auto Return for Website Payments, click the On radio button.
      5. For the Return URL, enter the YOUR URL for your site for successfull payment.

      Right now according successful paid status and auto approve the bookings, its will only work now, when visitors click at the return to your site link at the Paypal site.

      If visitor will not click at that return link from Paypal to your site (for example just close the paypal site) the system will not know about that payment was done, and status of payment of this booking will be not changed, its mean that booking will not be auto approved..

      At the future version update, the Booking Calendar will support the IPN method of PayPal integrations, which will not require from visitors to click at the return link for getting status of bookings, but right now its not supported yet.

          You are use the currency sign at the cost configuration for the booking resource at the top of a page, it's wrong. Please use just digits for the setting cost of booking resource.

  3. I am trying to change the size of my hotel calendar on my booking page, but I can't seem to find where to do this. Just need to make the calendar bigger. Thanks.

    • Hello,
      The size of the calendar can be changed or at the selected style of calendar - CSS file, which you are select at the general booking settings page. Or you can chnage it at the booking/CSS/client.CSS file.

  4. I am trying to use the calendar to sell shuttle tickets...but i seem to be having trouble getting the calendar to total up the cost. I currently have the resource price set at $35 but when i do a trial ticket sale, it only ever calculates to a total of $35 regardless of whats been chosen...what short code is connect to the part which calculates the total (other than a time span)???

      I am not clear understand what you are mean with this configuration, but I a suggest that you need that depend from the time of selection the cost of final cost is changed, if it's right, so then please check at the payment bookings settings page, that you have checked this checkbox: "Time of booking will be impact to the final cost" at the top of page.

    the kalender doesn't align to the page, it is running all months in 1 row (12 or 24) horizontally on my screen...

    anyway to solve this

      Its CSS issue relative with your actual theme.

      If you want to show months in 2 rows, maximum 2 months per row, so then you can make this customization:

      Please open this file: ../wp-content/plugins/booking/css/client.css

      at line 236

      find this code:

      .datepick-inline { margin-bottom: 10px; }
      and replace it to this:
      .datepick-inline { margin-bottom: 10px; width: 575px ! important; }

  6. Two questions i couldn't find in the FAQ:

    1) How can i setup the site so people can send booking requests (without paying) and i can then, from booking admin, send then a payment link for the due amount?

    So far i can work it out by un-ticking the paypal payment checkbox, and then i can click "request payment" from the bookings administration, but it doesn't sent a payment link, rather a payment reminder..

    2) I cannot get the search box [bookingsearch] to work.. the scroll wheel goes round and round and nothing happens. My properties have availablilities, but it seems not to find them.

      1) try to set the booking resource cost to 0, but the payment system set active. So then when visitor will make reservation he will not see the payment form. But you can enter new cost at admin panel for exist booking and then send payment request.
      2) please send the link to this page and screenshot of your settings to this email info @ onlinebookingcalendar.com for checking this issue.

  7. How may I open the reservation days? I mean if somebody makes a reservation one day for a service (SPA) it will block the entire day! how can I avoid that?

    • Hello Luis,
      This functionality is exist at the  Booking Calendar Hotel Edition version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource.  But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in DB, but not play any logic in reservation).
      Please test it at live demo to be sure in functionality.

  8. Hi I have installed the premium plus version of the plugin. Is there a way to have the booking by single days except on a specific week where it should only be possible to book a 7 day block. The week could be defined using a filter for example?

      Sorry, but its not possible to have in calendar the selection as a single day for all period but with some exceptions at specific week.
      We will add this item to todo list to have it at some future updates.

  10. I am using the Premium Plus version of your booking system. We have a Paypal account setup, but when I do a test booking by selecting the dates and filling out the form then click send, I am taken to a page that shows only the title of resource being booked along with a picture of the resource. The rest of the page is a blank with no payment total, no payment option, no "thank you for booking at our facility" or even any text to tell you where to go so payment can be made and the reservation solidified.

    I also tried setting it so that the visitors would only have to pay the first nite's deposit to secure the reservation, but when I book more than one night and look at the back end, it totals the entire reservation for all the nights. I tried switching it to a 50% of the total and I get the same issue. Perhaps if I could get the payment information set to show on the front, the deposit amount required would show.

    Also, as the person making the reservations, since I didn't get a message on a webpage saying "Your reservation was made, please wait for email confirmation of acceptance" and in fact just got a blank page, I thought I'd receive an email. After clicking book I didn't receive any email notice or confirmation of any sort that my reservation even went through. The only email I received was as the administrator showing that a new reservation had been made and I can check the back end to

    Can you help with these issues please?

      please check, that you are set correctly the cost of the booking resource (you need to enter there only digits, not currency codes).
      If its will not help, please send to this email info @ onlinebokingcalendar.com the screenshot of your settings cost configuration and link to the page with the booking form, so then we will check it and help you.
