Hi... Im trying to make a USER MANUAL for Hotel Edition... I dont understand a lot of things...
What does: "Type URL for bookings edit by visitors. You must use [bookingedit] shortcode, at this page." mean? do I have to place the main hotel URL or do I have to write "[bookingedit]" there? not clear. thank you.

That field is required, if you want to use the posibility for your visitors to edit bookings, which was done by these visitors.
So firstly you are need to create some post or page. Then insert this shortcode [bookingedit] into the content of this page and publish or update this page. Now you need to remember the URL of this page. Then you are need to insert this URL into the "URL for booking editing" field at the general booking settings page (it's that field about what you are asked).
So now you can insert the special shortcodes into the email templates at the settings email page for the posibility to have in emails links for booking edit by visitors.
I cannot make the search form work.. Whatever dates i enter, there is a scroll wheel for a few seconds, then the title "Search Results" but nothing underneath, ever. My resources have availability days on, but nothing comes out on search result. How do i make this work?

please check these items:
1) please check, that you are inserted into the posts or pages, the booking shortcodes for the single or "parent" resources (not child resources, because they will not be found).
2) please open the Booking > Settings > Search page and click at the clear cache button, you have to see, after this, number of found posts with booking forms.
3) Please test the search functionality again.
Hello, I have purchased, your booking calendar premium, Im setting up my future site on xamp, therefore it isnt online, i will put it online when i have managed to change last things. On my booking page i have the option:
Geschätzter Betrag / Importo stimato / amount: € [cost_hint]
The problem is that fe. it shows: Geschätzter Betrag / Importo stimato / amount: € $99, but it should show
Geschätzter Betrag / Importo stimato / amount : € 99
I would be happy if I manage to take out the $ sign !
Then the 2nd problem I have, is that in bookings it shows the $ sign, even there i would to have €!
Could you help me and show me where i can change this settings? I assume its coded?!

You can change the currency at the Booking > Settings > Payment page at the each payment sections.
So if you will change the currency to Euro, its will stop showing the $ and its will be changed to €
Is there any way to charge an additional fee per extra guest? For example, I would like to charge $350 per night for 2 guests, then $25 per extra guest.

yes, this feature is available at the Premium Plus and Hotel Edition versions.
So if you are define the visitors selections like this: [select visitors "1" "2" "3" "4" "5" "6" "7"] at the Settings Fields page and you are have the cost of this booking resource is 350 per day,
so then for additional cost configuration you are need to open the Booking > Settings > Payment page and at the Advanced cost management section set the configuration for the "visitors" option like this:
3 = 25/day
4 = 25/day
...
7 = 25/day

Hi, i´d like to test the free version, but when i activate the plugin, all contents of the website disappears. Also when I deactivate all other plugins, i get the same result – nothing is shown up to the background of the website. How can I solve this problem?

please recheck your site for the any JavaScript errors at your page. If they are exist you are need to fix them, if you will need help with that, please send the full list of errors or link to your site.
Also please check the error.log file from your server for any type of errors there.

If you want to have multiple bookings per days in calendar, so then you are need to check Booking Calendar Hotel Edition version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in DB, but not play any logic in reservation).
Please test live demo of this version.

Please open the live demo of Hotel Edition version here
then please open this page Booking > Settings > Resource page at the admin panel.
Here you will be see several resources. Some resources have capacity label at the right side. Its mean that these resources is have "child" resources inside. You can increase the capacity of these resources at this page (in your case set capacity to 10 - add several new "child" resources, in other words resources, which have parent element a resource with this capacity).
And based on this capacity you can specify how many reservation you can make at the client side of site. You can test the client side of site for this resources with some capacity at the same site.
Hi I would like to know how to block multiple resources for specific dates from the admin side, block specific days for mutiple resources that have multiple capacity for reservations per day (there should be a formular where we can "block" with a check multiple resources for specific dates or multiple days for specific resources) without having to fill a booking for for each one.
Please let me know how can I solve this as we have to block multiple dates for multiple reservations that are made by other means (not from the website) and we need to make them unavailable to the online visitors.

if you are want to block some dates in calendar, so then you can make it using these steps:
1) Open the Booking > Settings > Filters page and define here the season dates, which you are want to have to block.
2) Open Booking > Settings > Cost and availability page and click on "Availability" button of "parent" (or single) resource.
3) Then make checked your previously created season filters and set these dates as unavailable.
PS. This functionality is exist at the Premium Plus and Hotel Edition versions.
We purchased the multi-user version and we'd like all the payments to go to one PayPal account rather then to each individual user. Is there a setting for this in the Booking Admin?

Quick Question. Regarding payments. Where can I set the options for different payment types for the visitor? For example, a visitor may want to pay in full with credit card or pay only the deposit or make the reservation and pay when they arrive. Can this be done.?

the deposit payment feature (showing in the booking payment form the part of the final sum, based on % or fixed amount from final cost ) is available at the Premium Plus and hotel Edition versions.
But you can not use in this case the full amount for the payment for the specific booking resource. So you can use either full cost or deposit sum.
You can also write some info at the post, where you are insert the booking form, info that visitor can leave the payment form, if he want to pay, when he will arrive.

I am currently using the free version and when I accept a booking it doesn't show that the place is booked out on the calendar so other guests will not know that it is booked out until they try to make a booking and I tell them it is unavailable. I hope you understand but quite simply it doesn't show existing bookings to site visitors.
Also, is there a legend on the free version? Showing the low, mid and high season tariff?
