    • Hello Steve.
      Right now at the Premium and higher versions of Booking Calendar are supported PayPal (Standard/Pro hosted solution) , Sage and iPay88 payment systems integrations. (Other Payment systems do not supported yet. Sorry.)
      For the PayPal Pro hosted solution configuration you are just need to have the Paypal Pro account at the Paypal site.
      The Booking Calendar, right now is not supported also the shopping cart functionality. These payment systems: PayPal (Standard/Pro hosted solution) , Sage and iPay88 right now working without shopping cart functionality.

    We are using the Hotel Edition on http://www.primaparkeren.nl/reserveren. I hope you can help me with some questions:
    - The total costs are calculated right under the calendar. When I select additional costs (valet parking, overdekt parkeren), this is not calculated right away. When you click on the amount it will start calculating, but I want this to work automatically and right away. Is this possible?
    - At the bottom of the form I want the total costs to be shown again. I've added the same HTML code as above, but it isn't calculating. What am I doing wrong?

      1) What exactly in wrong in the cost calculation ? When I am only select the "checkboxes" like the
      - Valet Parking (+ $20)
      - Overdekt parkeren ( + $10)
      - Auto wassen (+ $15)
      Its show the additional cost under the calendar. Can you send the screenshot of the "adavanced cost management section" at the settings payment page and description of how this calculation have to be in correct way.

      2) Sorry, right now is possible to show the cost "hint" only once inside of the booking form.

      Its possible to show inside of the calendar available days only for the July and August. All other months also will be visible but not available.
      Its possible at the Premium Plus and Hotel Edition versions, you can define these dates at the Settings Filters page and then set them unavailable at the Cost and Availability settings page.

            Ok, so then just make that configuration in a settings.

        • You can also set start month as July of 2012, in the booking shortcode at the post or page, but it's not possible yet to skip the showing of other monthes from calendar.

    When working with it, we are finding some other issues:
    1. The costs are not on the Booking Edit page, as well as the booked period and extra options
    2. How can I get the selected checkboxes to appear in the confirmation mail to the client as well as in the confirmation mail to us?

    • Hello Marc,
      1) You are need to have the cost_hint and all other fields inside of the "Default" booking form, if you are use the custom forms (at the Premium Plus or Hotel Edition version). So you are just need to have all fields configured inside of the "Default" form.
      2) You are need to have at the bottom form from the Booking > Settings > Fields page the name of those "checkbox" inside of that configuration form. So then you will get these values inside of your emails.

  6. I've found answers to a lot of questions by looking at what other people ask, but it's not that easy to search through all 44 pages of comments. What is the best way of looking through the comments on this page?

    I know I can set the deposit per ressource but is there a way to set it so deposit is always 10% rather than 100% or at least per Parent ressource?

    I'm working on a hotel site and rooms are booked per night but booking form is including the day of checkout. How do I set that up currectly (Do I set up starttime and endtime as check in and check out time)?

      1) Sorry, for that. the support section of this site will be updated soon in new look. so its will be more easy to find answer to the some already exist questions.
      2) Its will be require modifications of plugin for this type of showing 10% instead of 100%. Its can not be set just by configuration inside of settings.
      3) You can set for the each "parent" resource at the Cost and availability settings page at the "Cost fr selected days" the configuration like this:
      For 2nd day = 0 USD per specific date.
      So its mean that each second day will not be calculated for the final cost, and its will be the same as we are calculated cost per night and not per day.

    I own the Hotel edition. I can't get your method working to split the booking form into several steps. I followed your tutorial in the FAQ and only the calendar is shown + 'continue to Step 2' Link, but nothing happens when I click on it. Maybe it's because the site is multilingual? Where do I have to insert your code when using language tags (4 different language), since I want to have 'continue to step 2' translated as well... I started placing the first div above the language tag, but this messed it up 😉

      Probably you are have at that page some JavaScript errors, and thats why its not show the second "step" page, because opening this second page is working using the JavaScript, which is stop to execute is some errors is exist at the page. So please check for the any JavaScript errors at your page, and if they exist please fix them. other wise please send the link to your page for rechecking it more detail.

  8. I have 2 more issues, I haven't found a workaround on this page :

    1) if I implement the total cost ([cost_hint]) in emails' [content] it always shows nothing. Even if e.g. the right cost is shown in the payment request email. But in the [content] part it's always empty.

    2) The Search functionality seems to ignore availability of booking resources... I have disabled some months by filter. In the booking form these months are not selectable, but the search shows all properties as if they were available... What am I doing wrong?

    • 1) Right now the cost_hint is not supported at the bottom form form the Settings fields page,
      instead of that, you can use the [cost] shortcode directly for inserting cost of this booking into the email template at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.
      2) Unfortunately, right now there is seems an issue with filter availability and search functionality. In the current version, please use some blank reservation of those dares instead of availability filters, its will be fixed in future updates.

  9. And one more question I didn't find an answer to...
    Is there a way to make the deposit payment depending on the date? This is what I want to do :
    Usually the clients have to pay a deposit and 6 weeks before check-in date they have to pay the rest. BUT when the do their reservation 8 weeks or less prior to check-in date they have to pay the total amount. So deposit depends on current date and check-in date...
    Any solution how to do this? Maybe this is good for a feature wishlist if it's not already there... 😉

    The customisation of the form_type do not work anymore ... I created a new one called "latour-mart", it appeared in the box when I want to put it in the post, but when I go to the website, the basic form is visible ...
    And where can I can modify the capacity of one room ?

    • Hello,
      1) the custom form is possible to use only if you are logged in as booking super admin. Please use this type of shortcode for insertion the booking custom form:
      [booking type=1 form_type='standard' nummonths=1]
      where parameter form_type have to have name of the custom form, so in your case is form_type='latour-mart'
      2) You can increase the capacity of the booking resource at the Booking > Resource page, please recheck that you are have enough number of possible creation booking resources, if you are logged in as not booking superadmin.
