      This availability you can set at the Booking > Settings General page in "Availability" section. Please note, its will apply to all days in all booking resources.

  2. Is there any information on PCI compliance and this plugin?

    • Hello.
      For making payment, plugin is using external payment gateways, like PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as PayPal Pro)), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL via Sisow and iPay88.
      And when visitor click on Payment button he/she will be redirected to the payment page of specific gateway, that's why all payment info is entered at the payment gateways website, and do not stored at plugin side.
      Additionally, because plugin installed at your WordPress website, so all security (if any) of your website (like using SSL (https) connection), will be used by plugin.

  3. Is it possible to set booking option "whole day" and having the option to split that day into hour blocks?

    Example:
    I want to book for the whole day - choose whole day in the dropdown for time slots.
    I want to book for 3 hours - choose 1-4pm in the dropdown for time slots.

    Can I have BOTH those options available at the same time in the booking calendar?

    • Hello.
      Such functionality possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions.
      In these versions you can configure selections of times in a way like this at the Booking > Settings > Form page:

      Select your time: [select rangetime "Full day@@00:00 - 23:59" "Morning@@10:00 - 12:00" "Afternoon@@14:00 - 20:00" "13:00 - 14:00"]
      Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.

    J'ai parfaitement réussi a paramétrer votre plug-in pour mon activité et vous félicite pour sa grande qualité et sa facilité alors que je ne suis qu'un tres modeste amateur !....
    Une question toutefois, avant de le mettre en ligne:
    Je n'arrive pas a faire apparaitre le cout de la réservation sur le formulaire de réservation que va remplir le client:
    - j'ai coché dans mes paramètres la case "fenêtre de détail de réservation" ( Cochez cette case si vous voulez afficher show popover with booking details dans le calendrier en front-end.) mais quand je simule une réservation il n'apparait aucun calcul de cout. Comment puis je faire pour que le client soit informer du cout total de ce qu'il a choisi quand il remplit le formulaire?

    Just one last question before putting it on line:

    I can't manage to get the price of the reservation to appear on the booking form that the client fills in - I've ticked the box titled "booking details window" ("Tick this box if you want to display "show popover with booking details in the calendar at front end"). But when I try to simulate a booking, no calculation of the cost appears. How can I make sure my customer sees the total cost of what he's chosen when he fills in the form?

      You can use these shortcode for showing such costs in booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page:

    I have a website with your script installed. I would like to know how to access the calendar view from the frontend..
    Refer to Screenshot on your website (Timeline at frontend side)

    I would only like this link to be hidden, or only accessible via a level of login (not subscribers or Admin)
    Is this possible?

          Please note, the "Timelines" shortcodes support in the updates 7.0.1 or newer of Booking Calendar. Please update your version of Booking Calendar to the latest update 7.2 If you are using the paid version of Booking Calendar, then you can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

          Otherwise please open on WordPress menu some page for editing then switch from "Visual" view mode to "Text" view mode the content editor and insert the Booking Calendar shortcode (relative to this instruction https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/ ).

          Please be sure that you are using standard quote symbols (like " or ') in the shortcode and do not use non standard opening or closing quote symbols. The beast way to recheck it by retyping it from keyboard.

              The "Timeline" available only in since update 7.1 or in newer update of Booking Calendar.

              Its does not possible to show int in older versions.

              And you are right, if you will make update of plugin to the latest update, all your previous customization of source code files will be lost, and you will be need to make them again. Its because during update process all files are replacing.

            1) In the Booking Calendar Free version is only way to block specific days, is by making "blank" bookings for such days. You can create new bookings at Booking > Add booking page.

            2) In the Booking Calendar Business Small version the best (fastest) way todo "blank bookings" by using auto fill fields button. Open the Booking > Add booking page, select specific dates and click on "Auto fill" button at the top right side of the page.

            3) In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to set specific days as unavailable based on season filters. Please read more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#availability

  7. Hello WPML team,

    I have a trilingual site. A booking calendar will appear in these three languages. I have already downloaded and installed the PO + MO files.

    Most of the translations are included, but not as on this screenshot https://modus-media.de/kunden/bild.png.

    How can I change the selected fields or translate them correctly? Are there shortcodes which can possibly be used?

      In your screenshot interface of not the original "Booking Calendar" plugin, but some other plugin (probably with similar name).

  8. I am working on a site that has purchased the Small Business booking calendar plugin. When I am working on the calendars and in the settings, I am noticing that double booking is happening due to the resources. For example, if someone chooses one resource during a certain time it will allow someone to schedule another resource for that same exact time. How do I get it to agregate other resource id to avoid double booking?

    • Hello.
      Basically purpose of booking resources it's to have independent booking calendars. So if someone make the booking in one calendar (booking resource), then this booking will not appear at other calendars (booking resources).

      In you case you can use just one booking resource, and to have in the booking form (at the Booking > Settings > Form page) some selctbox for selection of some type of booking, like this:

      [select my_resource "Resource 1" "Resource 2" "Resource 3"]

      So you will have one calendar and ability to select some option in selctbox.

      In case if you still need to use differnt booking resources and to update availability at all calendars(booking resources) if it's booked at one calendar, then you can use "aggregate" parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode.

      • Okay! So if I want to using the booking calendar shortcode, where exactly am I placing this code? I believe I am inserting it incorrectly because when I did it before, I was just seeing text on the webpage instead of what I was really looking for.

          • Awesome that worked! Not to bother you but I have one other question. After doing that I was able to get it to show booked date for all resources in one calendar and everything, but when it submits it is bringing up default price. Is there any way to do it this way and still be able to get the right price for each resource?

              1) Its possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions to define additional cost for the booking depend from selected options in selectboxes.

              You can define this additional cost at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page.
              2) Otherwise, you need to use several booking resources and define aggregate parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcodes relative to my previous comment.

  9. Small Business plugin - how to avoid double booking when there is more than one resource.

      For exmpale if you are having booking resources with folowing IDs at the Booking > Resources page:
      - Resource #A ID = 3
      - Resource #B ID = 4
      - Resource #C ID = 8
      - Resource #D ID = 9

      then you need to use shortcodes like this:

  10. I've read the support threads and understand that it is NOT currently possible to set capacity for specific time slots; however, is this a feature that you are working on? and if so do you have an idea of when it may become available?

      This feature still in the TODO list. Currently we are working hard on import/export .ics files for ability to sync data with other booking websites, like airbnb.
      After we will release this feature we can start working with other items in todo list. Currently I can not say about exact date of release of that feature.
