Is it possible to change the resouce of an existing booking?
For example, if a customer has booked a single room but staff want to upgrade them to a double room.
Hello.
Yes, its possible. You can change the booking resources for specific booking by clicking on "change booking resource" button near specific booking at Booking Listing page.
Kind Regards.
Perfect, thank you.
Hi, I´m trying the free version but I don´t get any emails on my inbox when reservations and confirmations are made, How can I test the sending of emails?, another question is about the forms, for a small motel with something like 25 rooms, do I need to make 25 different reservation forms? is there a version that you can set up around 20 or 30 rooms using a single booking room?
thanks!
Hello.
Basically you need to create the 25 booking resources for the each of your rooms. Please read more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#booking-resources
And then insert the booking form shortcode into the specific page(s) for specific booking resources. So by doing this you will have the different calendars for the different booking resources. You can configure only 1 booking form customization at the Booking > Settings > Fields page.
Thanks for your reply!, so I understand the version I need is the Calendar Business Medium?, what about the emails? why I´m not getting any emails from the system when reservations are made or validated?
Thanks!
Hello.
1) Based on your previous description, its seems that you can check any paid version (not only Booking Calendar Business Medium version).
In my previous comment, its just was example of booking resources selections in that version. But such selections possible also in other versions of Booking Calendar. Please read the Booking Calendar version overview, to check what additional functionality you are need: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/
Thanks for the info, at the momment I only receive emails on the visitor email who is booking, none in the admin email. I tried email address and [visitoremail] and none are working.
Hello.
Try to set at the Booking > Settings > Emails page for the "New for Admin" email template to the fields "To" and to the field "From" same your email in format like this: youremail@someyourserver.com
Save the changes and test it again.
If you still do not receive emails, please check this troubleshooting instruction https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/
Kind Regards.
Hello, I have 2 questions:
1, how do I maximize the booking calendar only with the current next six months?
2, If the administrator want to register a booking, he saw both of languages' forms, and he has to fill all of the required text both of languages. These two language are showed in the paying request email too.
Hello.
1) You can set scrolling only to next 6 months, at the General booking settings page in calendar section. You need to set the number of months to 6 months, so your visitors will not be able to scroll to the next months.
You can set the number of visible months and configure the width and heights months in the booking shortcode, during inserting it into the post or page.
Please read how manually to configure Booking Calendar shortcode here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/#booking
2, the "several language" is working on my front end and it is great. Just if I use the back end, the booking system couldn't choose the language, it is put all of the language texts from the fields texts.
Hello.
At the admin panel only the way to change the language its to switch the language of the admin panel. This option have to provide translation plugin.
Kind Regards.
I want to forbid our users to change the booking in the future. Can I get the "[visitorbookingediturl]" link in the automatic administrator email? I tried to simply insert into the automatic admin email , but it's not working. He writes that bad "hash" in the URL.
Hello.
The [visitorbookingediturl] shortcode possible to use only in the emails that are sending to the visitors, not to the admin.
You can remove this shortcode from the email template, that sent emails to the visitors, if you want to forbid users to change the bookings.
Your administrator can change the bookings in the admin panel.
Kind Regards.
Hi,
I want the calendar next to my form fields, how can I do it? Right now the calendar is below the form fields
I´m using the free version
Thanks
Hello.
Its possible to have such type of form customization in the paid versions of Booking Calendar.
In these versions of Booking Calendar please open the Booking > Settings > Fields page, then in the action toolbar, select "2 Columns form template" and click on "Reset" (or "Both") button, to reset the exist booking form customization to the default one.
Click on "Save changes" button and then test it.
You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ .

Hello, I would like to get the values that my clients met to mark their reserves and create a custom post type only with those values. Basically a listing of all clients who have already made reservations.
Hello.
Unfortunately such feature is not available. You can check clients who made bookings at the Booking Listing page in your admin panel.
In the paid vesions you can also export bookings (it's means also customers data) to CSV files.
Kind regards.
I have Version 9.MultiUser.SingleSite.5.4.4 of this great plugin and I'm wondering if there's a way to require the calendar to only allow bookings 3 business days into the future....
This means that if it's friday they can't book until next week Wednesday, and if it's Monday they can't book until Thursday... with the understanding that they can book Monday through Sunday.
Hopefully this makes sense...
Thank you!

Hello.
You can configure this in the general booking settings page by configuring this option:
"Limit available days from today" - "
Select number of available days in calendar start from today."
Kind regards.
It seems like that option only limits available days from today, not 3 business days into the future, where Saturday and Sunday are not considered Business days.
Or am I wrong?
Yes, that's right.
Hahaha, ok.
So there is NO special secret way that I can code it to allow me to restrict booking three business days into the future?
Hello.
No there are no such secret way.
Sorry.
Kind regards.
Hello,
I'm experiencing a bug when people book for three or more days in a row they are able to overlap existing bookings, is this a known bug or am I the only one getting this?
The problem is that we want people to be able to book multiple days with multiple times, but if someone books multiples they can overlap existing bookings at the same times.
Hello.
Ok, then its possible with Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1).
1) You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Fields page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
2) Also you need to open the General Booking Settings page and activate this option "Use time selections as recurrent time slots" at the "Calendar" section.
"This means that middle days will be partially booked by actual times, otherwise the time in the booking form will be used as check-in/check-out time for the first and last day of the reservation. "
You can test it in the live demo of Booking Calendar Business Small version, if you will activate that option in the settings: https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Kind Regards.
In email shortcode, is it possible to have [dates] display a range of dates instead of each date individually?
For example, if I select November 5 to November 10 on the calendar, the email template when using [dates] shortcode will list this:
November 5, 2015, November 6, 2015, November 7, 2015, November 8, 2015, November 9, 2015, November 10, 2015.
Is it possible to have the [dates] email shortcode display this instead:
November 5, 2015 to November 10, 2015
Hello.
Yes, its possible you need to use in the email templates at the Booking > Settings > Emails page these shortcodes: [check_in_date] to [check_out_date]
Kind Regards.
Thank you, works perfectly!
We currently are allowing multiple bookings for all locations. However, for specific locations we want to set a quota for peak months. For example, during a peak season we would want certain locations to only allow for 4 approved bookings. Is this possible with the plugin?
Hello.
If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). But such capacity possible to set only for all days of that specific booking resources, not the specific dates during specific season.
Please read more about it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation).
Please read more info about the booking resources and how to configure them here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-resource/
Also we highly recommend to check this article about different configuration of capacity and availability https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/
Kind Regards.

Probably you was activated the using "Check in/out times" feature for using change-over days: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#change-over-days
like in this live demo: https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/
If you are having some other issue, please explain it more detail, and send the link to the page with booking form.
