Hi Team
We're using premium Booking Calendar (version 5.4) on our site (www.caroline-cottage.co.uk/booking-form). It has been working great but on mobile devices it isn't showing all booked/approved dates, only some of them that are booked. It works ok on desktop and laptop but is missing bookings on mobile. Please can you advise if there is a fix?
Thanks
Matt
Hello.
If you are using Cache plugin (like "WP Super Cache" ), please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form to do not cache this page.
Also, please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.
Hi, I'd like to be able to have pending approval or rejection bookings that don't make those dates unavailable.
Example would be that we would like 2 people to be able to book the same date, one would book for 2 days and another for a week that also covers the 2 days that someone else has already requested.
Is it possible to be able to have multiple bookings pending so that you can choose which one to approve, and once approved only then are the dates unavailable?
We have purchased the Business Medium version.
Hello.
this feature is available in the Booking Calendar Business Large and higher version. Pleas read more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#pending-available
You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.
Kind Regards.
Hello,
Just wondering if it's at all possible to add discounts for multiple days bookings? At the moment, I see you can set discounts or add fees for selected variables (like duration times), but I can't see an option for if they want to book say 10 hours over 3 days.
Is this possible?
Thanks
Hello.
1) You can configure discounts based on number of selected dates by clicking on the "Valuation days" button at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page. Please read more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#valuation-days
2) Also because you are making bookings for several days and for specific time-slots, then probably you need to activate this option: "Use time selections as recurrent time slots" at the General Booking Settings page in Calendar section. This means that middle days will be partially booked by actual times, otherwise the time in the booking form will be used as check-in/check-out time for the first and last day of the reservation.
Kind Regards.
Hi, I have the Business Large version of the Booking plugin. I have two questions:
1. Can the plugin be 'white-labelled' removing all branding and links to the plugin off-site resources)?
2. How can the '$' symbol be swapped for a '£' in the WordPress Admin panels?
Thanks
Hello.
1) Please make this fix.
Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/lib\wpdev-booking-class.php
then find this code: <div style="width:95%;border:none; clear:both;margin:10px 0px;" id="bk_news_section"> <!-- Section 4 -->
and replace it to this code: <div style="display:none;width:95%;border:none; clear:both;margin:10px 0px;" id="bk_news_section"> <!-- Section 4 -->
Then open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/lib\wpdev-settings-general.php
find this code: <div style="width:100%;border:none; clear:both;margin:10px 0px;" id="bk_news_section">
and replace it to this code: <div style="display:none;width:100%;border:none; clear:both;margin:10px 0px;" id="bk_news_section">
2) You can change the currency at the Booking > Settings > Payment > PayPal page. If you are using "Sage pay" payment system, then you need to change currency also at the "Sage Pay" tab.
Kind Regards.
Hello,
I would like all my calendars to display starting from the month of March. To that end I've inserted this shortcode:
My calendars will only display from today's date on. Am I missing a setting somewhere else?
Hello.
Original version of Booking Calendar can show only dates starting from today or future months. Its can not show months and bookings from the past.
Kind Regards.
How would I add a CLOSED FOR SUMMER availability season filter? I tried with your demo and can't get it to show up. Need it to show in the LEGEND or something so people know they can't book during that time period for the reason given/shown. Any help would be appreciated before we purchase the Medium Business version. Thanks,
Hello.
1) You need to create firstly season filters at the Booking > Resources > Filters page.
Create "Date range" season filter at that page and select your summer dates.
2) Now open the Booking > Resources > Availability page, and click on "Available" button near specific booking resource.
Then activate specific season filter (checkbox at the left side near specific season filter) and click on "Save changes button".
Now you can test it at the client-side at the page for that booking resource, which you used for applying this season filter.
Hello. I have purchased the business small. I have many resources for customers to choose from. But unless a particular resource is chosen from the dropdown menu, the date does not show booked on the calendar. This is set up for customers to choose a time and a resource. How can I show all bookings regardless of the resource to show up in the calendar? Also, it should show the open times that are not booked yet. Can you give me some direction please? Thanks so much. Tammy
Hello.
1) Currently in the booking form you are using only the start time selection shortcode. You need to use start time and end time or duration time shortcodes. Or instead of those 2 shortcodes you can use one timerange shortcode for ability to book for specific times.
Also start time shortcode (field) is configured incorrectly, because in the values of times you are used AM/PM times, which possible to use only in times labels. But in times values you need to use times in 24 hour format.
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Fields page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
2) If you do not see the booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the "Advanced section", please be sure that you have not activated this option: "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s):". This option must be unchecked. If its checked, please uncheck it and update the settings.
If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).
Kind Regards.
Hi, at first, thank you for awesome plugin, i already bought personal version. I have few questions for default settings. (its not problem change it in code, but i need to know where) And the same thing here https://screencast.com/t/jGvKgauz6u2S i need at first position surname and second name (yes, its just detail but please trust me, some really stupid things for one man can be for the other one it may be a matter of life and death :D) thank you for your time, im appreciate it. MV
Hello.
1) You can set default view mode at the "Calendar Overview" page by changing option "Default calendar view mode" at the General Booking Settings page in "Booking Listing" section.
2) You can configure the order of your form fields at the Booking > Settings > Fields page.
Please note the showing info in Booking Listing page is depend from the "Content of booking fields data" form at the Booking > Settings > Fields page. SO just replace 2 fields at that form.
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Fields page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
Kind Regards.
Thank you!
Hi there,
We've happily used the booking form for a while now but after a recent WP update my page is showing the following error:
Warning: preg_match(): Compilation failed: invalid range in character class at offset 18 in /customers/5/6/0/.../httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/booking.pro.2.2/include/wpdev-pro.php on line 1501
How can I rectify this?
Thanks and best wishes
Just to add, we;re using Version: release date: 05.12.2011 9.Professional.2.2
Hello.
Please update your version to the latest update 6.1 of Booking Calendar Personal version.
Greetings - we are in need of a booking application solution which has the capability to automatically add a blackout period to the end of any booking (for clean up and prep between clients.)
So for example: We want to offer bookings from 9am to 9pm. Any booking needs 30 minutes following that session before another session can be booked. So if a customer books from 10am to 12pm, the next available time to choose for booking would be 12:30pm.
Can Booking Calendar be configured to do this?
Thank you!
Hello.
Such functionality available in the Booking Calendar Business Medium and higher versions.
In these versions, for the bookings, for specific time-slots you can set additional "gap", before or after booking. Please note, its possible to set such additional unavailbale times only for the bookings that was made for time-slots, or for bookings, that use change-over days funcitonality. You can configure this times gap at the General Booking Settings page in "Availability section".
Please note, this functionality will be available in the next update 6.2, which will come officially at next week. But you can already test it in the live demos of these versions. You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding. Also after purchase, you can request this update at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
Please note, during test the live demo of Booking Calendar Business Medium version, you will be need to set the single day selection mode at the General Booking Settings page in Calendar section, and then configure time-slots selections at the Booking > Settings > Fields page. Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Fields page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
Kind Regards.
Thank you for your fast response. This sounds promising! I want to be crystal clear on how the gap functionality will work as I'm not yet familiar with what change-over days functionality is.
Does this mean that specific time slots must be pre-configured in order to include the gap functionality?
ie: 9am to 10am, 10am to 11am...
verses allowing customers to choose any start and end time they would like (9am to 11:15am, 1pm to 4:30pm, etc) within the available range (9am to 9pm) ?
Hello.
You can use in the booking form start time and end time selections or entering form fields. But because you restricted to the 9am - 9pm times, I can suggest you need to use start time and end time selections shortcodes at the Booking > Settings > Fields page.
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Fields page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
Kind Regards.
Great - two last questions, related to price calculation and booking deposit. I promise. 🙂
Does your form builder have any price configuration capabilities in order to calculate 'add on options.'
Example:
Sessions are $75/hr
Customers are also presented with several optional add on 'checkboxes'
add on 1 - $10
add on 2 - $25
add on 3 - $12
So they book a 2 hour session plus options 1 and 2 - so their total invoice is $172.
We would also like to be able to require a flat rate deposit / Pay Pal / at the time the booking is made. Say, $50 - regardless of the total cost of the session.
Are these possible?
Hello.
Its possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium and higher versions.
1) Please check here how to set additional cost, that depend from the options selections in selectboxes and checkboxes in your booking form: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost
