  1. Consider a scenario in your wodpress plugin,

    A hotel has 10 rooms of a type A and all the room are available from Date 1 to 10 in a specific month. Now in the booking form, I want a field to as quantity, if a person booking from date 1 to 5 with the quantitiy 6. Hence, now 4 quantity should be available in the calender.

    Let me know how to achieve this functionality.

      If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
      At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource.But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation).

    I've a problem with bookingtimeline, i can't set change view day = 1 or 7 it is always displayed 30 day mode

      What version of Booking Calendar do you use ? You can check it at the Booking > Settings General page.
      Also please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

  3. Hello back again,

    If you are in admin mode, and you have the screen of reservations in front off you, you see in the upper right corner the search bar, is there a way to search on a name instead of id?

    We use company names so they can book rooms, and like to be able to search on name.
    I thought is was in a previous version there?

      Its possible in paid versions of Booking Calendar. Please open the Booking Listing page, then in "Filter" toolbar at the left bottom side click on "Bottom arrow" to expand Filter toolbar, and in this toolbar you will see "Keyword" field, which you can use to filter specific booking by specific keyword.

      • Thanks, i found it in our version, is it also possible to make the pop up list different? i mean we have reservations for a whole year and the list with the dates is so long and not aligned.

        Is there a way to make this as a nice list, or maybe to make 2 februari 2017 13:00 as 2-2-17 13:00 that also make allot of space in the popup

          I do not sure that clearly understand you, but probabaly you mean to save some space in Booking Listing page for dates fields because of many dates.

          Then please open the Booking > Settings General page and in Booking Listing page instead of "full days format" set "short days format". In this case system will show only check in - check out dates at the Booking Listing page.

            The information form this client looks now good in the email but is there a way to make this dates underneath each other? like this..

  4. Hello, your calendar looks great! However I need to use smaller time slots than days (minutes). Is there possible to do it too? For example when my imeslot is 10 minutes in monday and 15 minutes in tuesday and I accept bookings from 9am to 3pm and then from 6pm to 9pm. Thanks!

    • Hello.
      1) The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Fields page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.

      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes.       You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.

      2) Please note, if you need to have the different time-slots selections for the different week days, so then such functionality possible only in Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.       • Thanks, sorry I missed that comparsion page. One more question - is there possible to setup a deadline for booking? We would like to use it for a medical services bookings so this is a bit specific - i would like to set a deadline for booking to our opening hours. - that means you can book only before we open. Will not use a lot of features you offer, is there possible to get some custom license?

          1) Unfortunately, such feature is not available in actual versions of Booking Calendar. Sorry.
          Visitor of your website can book any available times or dates that possible to select in booking form.

  5. Hello.
    I've recently purchased the personal version of your plugin and I'm encountering an issue with it. The bookings don't show up. I can see them in the admin panel, but they don't appear in the calendar. I use the plugin for an intranet. My goal is that people in different places could see and add bookings for different rentals. There wasn't any issue with the free edition. I've already tried to uninstall the plugin and deleting it.
    I'm using WordPress 4.7.2, PHP Version 5.3.28 and the Version 9.Personal.SingleSite.7.0 of your plugin.

      If you do not see the booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the "Advanced section", please be sure that you have not activated this option: "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s):". This option must be unchecked. If its checked, please uncheck it and update the settings.

      If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

  6. Hello,

    I've got Booking Medium Singlesite.

    When a customer goes to book, they should be able to select the number of adults and children staying. The dropdowns for this aren't working - can you help please?

      Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard selectbox elements for selection number of visitors or children.

      Its seems that these standard selectboxes is replacing by some custom HTML elements, like these:
      <span class="customSelect0 span1" ... >...</span>
      Because of that we are having some issue with selection of such elements.

      Please contact support of your actual theme, about resolving issue with replacing or selection of options in these new elements.

  7. three bugs noted in 7.0 Business Medium

    Hey! I've identified three issues that might be bugs in 7.0

    1. We chatted here about this, but wanted to repeat: the hover box extends off the top of the page so you can't see it on the calendar view example: https://imgur.com/a/JSHhV

    2. The down arrow where it would reveal keyword search doesn't work image: https://imgur.com/a/nXBq3

    3. Weird error in auto generated emails to confirm bookings. Rest of email is fine and email sends find, but this error is getting generated: https://imgur.com/a/QsTga

    • Hello.
      1) Its known issue. I hope to fix it in some future updates.
      2) Its have ti work. May be some other plugin or active theme generate some JavaScript error, and because of that its does not expand toolbar.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
      If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.

      3) Please open the Booking > Settings > Emails page then switch that email template to show in text (HTML) mode, and recheck about any relative tags, that can generate such CSS issue. Otherwise, its possible because of conflict with some other plugin, which is overwrite WordPress wp_mail function.
      Please follow instruction in point #2 to find the reason what is generating this issue.

  8. Everything work fine except I don't get any emails. If I'm not getting emails I'm sure my clients that book me are not getting emails as well.

    • Hello.
      1) Please try to set in the field "From" instead of visitor email shortcode, your email. The same email that you set in the field "To".

      2) Sometimes mail servers block emails, if the address "From" different from the domain of website, from where this email was sending. Its not really depend from the Booking Calendar. So please open the Booking > Settings > Emails page and recheck that field "From", its have to the same as your website domain. For example: info@your-server.com and not like this your_email@gmail.com

      3) If you do not receive emails at all in any cases then please check this troubleshooting instruction https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/ (the most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction).

      4) Otherwise you will need to check error.log and mail.log files in your server configuration relative to searching about the reason of not sending emails. If you can not find such files in your server configuration please contact support of your hosting company.

  9. Hi

    I seem to have a problem with the email form field. If a booking is made the email field is not checked, i.e., it is possible to book without entering an email. However, as far as I see, it is not possible to change anything about the email field in the settings. Is this a known problem or anything I can do about this?

      To resolve this issue in actual version update 7.0 please make this small fix:

  10. Hello,

    in 7.0 sends email notification even if on reservation list I uncheck "is_send_email_for_pending" checkbox (in top - right corner of list). In previous versions if I uncheck this input client don't get email notification when I chcange reserwation or move to trash... Now plugin sends email notifications always whether is checked or not... Please help, how to fix this?
