  1. Hello there,

    When importing booking data in Excel, shortcodes cost_hint and deposit_hint do not only contain a number, but also the currency in characters like this: €0.00
    Is there a way to avoid this? The mergefield-function in Excel doesn't solve this issue.

      then find this code:

      and replace it to this code:

    I may be missing something obvious or having a Doh Day, but please can you help me with the set up of iCal Export synchronisation.

    Please can you give me an example of what I need to enter in the box after https://mysite.com? I notice that the https link appears to be linked already to my bookings page rather than the Home page url. Is this all that is needed - (say) https://mysite.com/bookings/

    What I am trying to do is create the link that I need to send to AirBNB etc. for them to use to import bookings from my own site.

    Presently running free version 8.1.1 with Booking Manager v2.0.4 on WordPress 4.9.1

      Please open the Booking > Settings > Sync > "Export - .ics" page and configure there relative URL(s) to your .ics feeds, like this:
      /apartment2/wpbm.ics
      Save changes.
      Then click on icon near these field with URL, for opening .ics in external page.

    Your plugin is great and suites my clients requirements almost 100%. He is a South African based business and therefore requires ZAR setting as well as PayFast Integration. Please could you advise if this is possible and if not would we be able to arrange a credit as we would not be able to make use of the plugin.

    • Hello.
      1) In Booking Calendar is listing only currencies that are supporting by specific payment system. Its not really depend from the Booking Calendar plugin.
      If "ZAR" is not listed in the currency list of specific payment system page, like Booking > Settings > Payment > PayPal page , so its means that PayPal does not support this currency.
      But its possible to define to list and show info in Booking Calendar in any curencies at the Booking > Settings > Payment page. This settings, does not apply to payment forms of specific payment gateway, which is have own currency configurations in specific tabs at Booking > Settings > Payment page.

      2) If you want to make the integration of your payment system by yourself, so you will be able to check how was integrated exist payment system in plugin like Stripe payment gateway. Please check more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/custom-gateway-in-7-0/

  5. Dear Sirs

    We have paid for the opgrade to Small Business version of your Booking system. We use it for booking of conference room and coaching room in our small Confernce Center.
    So my problem is that I can't make it possible for clients to book a conference room for half a day or our coaching room on hourly basis. When I read the specifications of the different versions of your Booking System I understood that in the Small Business versions it was possible but I can't get it to work.
    I also need to be able to do the booking for the Coaching room with a different formula then the one they use for the conference rooms

    Do I have the wrong version ?

      1) Yes, the bookings for specific times possible in your Booking Calendar Business Small version.
      You can configure timeslots selection at the Booking > Settings > Form page.

      Example of configuration:

      Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.

      You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.

      You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes.       2) I do not sure that clearly understand your second question about formula. Can you explain more detail about this in some example?

        Let me try to explain our situation:

        We have two caoching rooms where the instructor have one to one sessions on a hourly basis, that mean that an instructor shall be able to book the coaching room for only one or two hours and then it shall be possible for another instructor to book the dame room later the same day.

        We also have four conference rooms that we want clients to be able to book for a half day (morning or afternoon) or for a whole day or for an evening. If someone has book the conference room for half a day (morning) it should be possible for another client to book the same conference room the same day in the afternoon or evening.

        Regarding the Formula questions.
        When a client make the booking of a conference room the formula shall contain checkboxes with questions of food and drink options and table planning for the conference room BUT this formula is not needed when the client book a coaching room.

        And a new question regarding payment:
        When booking on af the conference rooms there will be a field in the formula name Numbers of persons. Is it possible to set the price based on numbers of persons f.ex 25 persons of USD 10.00 eq USD 250.

          Yes, its possible to configure such time of day selection in a way like this:
          Time of day: [select rangetime "Morning@@10:00 - 14:00" "Afternoon@@14:00 - 20:00" "Full day@@10:00 - 20:00"]
          In case, if you need to have for different booking resources (rooms) the different type of times selections, its means that you need to customize several different custom booking forms at the Booking > Settings > Form page. Its possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Please check more here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#custom-forms
          You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.

          2) If you need to set additional cost depend from selected options in your booking form, like selection of drinks, so then its possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Check more here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost
          3) Number of visitors selections its the same as point #2.

            I have now upgraded my version to Business Medium as you surguested. BUT in the field settings >>BOOKING -> SETTINGS -> FORM, I still only have the same opportunities as I had in the Business small versions and not as it looks in https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
            Have I done something wrong when I upgraded, in controlpanel it tells me the Business MEDIUM is active

                I have just deactivated my old version Business SMALL version and then I deleted it. After that I uploaded and installed the Business MEDIUM version but it still look like the old version NOTHING NEW and not the functions I needed like Customised forms and possibility to insert SHORTCODES in FIELDS

                Please what am I doing wrong as it simply do not change versions...

                  I have now tried to deleted ALL versions of your Booking system in WP and I have deleted all Booking ZIP filles from my computer and I have thereafter rebooted my computer, then I downloaded the BOOKING.BM file from the link in the email sent when I upgraded to Business MEDIUM version BUT it still looks like the Business SMALL version NO NEW FEATURES ???

                  What am I doing wrong ???

                  1) We have resend one more time to your email address, the link for downloading Booking Calendar Business Medium version.
                  2) Please download this zip file.
                  3) Open the WordPress > Plugins menu page and deactivate all old versions of Booking Calendar.
                  4) Upload and activate new version of Booking Calendar Business Medium version.
                  5) At the Booking > Settings General page you have to see the version of Booking Calendar.

                  6) If you still will have an issue, please send screenshot of this issue from the Booking > Settings > Form page and screenshot of Booking > Settings General page and WordPress > Plugins page.

                    And then it abort installation.

          Please open the Booking > Settings General page and in Form section be sure that this option "Simple Booking Form" was UNCHECKED.
          Than save changes.
          This option is useful, only if you want to use simple booking form customization from Free plugin version at Settings - Form page.

  7. We have two plugins active (we have a license):

    Version 9.Business.Large.SingleSite.8.1
    Version 8.1.1

    Should I de-activate the second one?

  8. I have tried following the directions to modify a reservation and the instructions are very confusing. I am using the large business version and do not see anywhere when I select Actions that I'm able to modify a reservations. Basically need to change the date of an already booked reservation.

    • Hello.
      The edit process of bookings is simple process in paid versions of Booking Calendar:
      1) Please open the Booking Listing page in your admin panel.
      2) Click on "Edit" button near specific booking. Please note, this button near specific booking, and not in the toolbar!
      3) You will be redirected to Booking > Add booking page, where you will see your selected date(s) and filled booking form fields of your booking.
      4) Please Re-select dates in calendar (or edit form fields) of this booking.
      5) Click on Save changes button.
      That's it.

  9. Hi,

    It appears Booking Calendar doesn't support Polylang plugin (https://polylang.pro)
    When changing locale, the booking calendar still in the default wp locale.
    We need to update the wpbc_get_booking_locale function in wpbc_translation.php in order to have the good locale.
    For now, we are in free version but we want to buy the Business large and we don't want to modify the plugin because of future updates.
    Do you plan to work on it ?

          • I'm using version 8.4.4, and there is still one issue with Polylang: the links to booking resources in the search results are only in the default language when I switch to any other language. Only the default language pages are indexed in the search. Is there a solution for this?

              Currently in search results showing links in several languages, are supported only for the WPML or qTranslate plugins, other translation plugins are not supported yet. sorry.
              We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin.

  10. Is there a way to set the size of the multiple select time field? In order to prevent scrolling. Eg. in this example:

              then add this code to the bottom of this file:

              .booking_form_div select[multiple], .booking_form_div select[size] { height: 100px; }

              Please do not forget to clear browser cache before testing these changes.
              Of course, you can set other height there.
