Yes, its possible to make upgrade from lower version to the higher versions of the same editions (for example from the Booking Calendar Personal single site usage version to the Booking Calendar Business Small single site usage version).
But its does not possible to make upgrade from the single site usage version to the "developer" or multi site usage versions or from the "developer" to the multi site usage versions.
The cost of upgrade from the lower to higher versions, usually higher than difference in cost between 2 versions.

Booking Calendar "Free" - this version is free, you can download it from WordPress directory.
It's very easy in use and powerful version for the creating reservation of one resource.
At this version is possible to make reservation for the one resource, like a room or car, or some service... etc. You can insert into the post or page the standard booking form with fixed number of fields and availability calendar, where visitor can select single or multiple days. Booking Calendar Business Small - it's paid version, where is possible all actions from previous versions, plus you can receive the bookings for the specific time of date, set the cost of booking resource and integrate the online payment form of supported payment systems. Your visitors can make the rage days selection using the one mouse click in calendar, or setting minimum or sets of fixed number of days selection using 2 mouse clicks (check in and checkout dates), all middle dates will be selected automatically. Also here is possible to use the same date as check in/out date for the different bookings by activating the fixed time at the settings page.
Please note, if you will use the fixed time slot list selection (and not the time entering using the text fields) in the booking form, the timeslot list will be the same for the any date of week, in other words the fixed time slot list is not depend from the week of day. Also you can set additional cost for the option selection at selectboxes or checkboxes at your booking form. this additional cost can be fixed sum or percent from the final cost of booking. At this version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it's mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability.   1. Hello,

    I'm using the Small Business calendar for daily reservations on a fishing charter. A couple questions:

    1. We have 3 time slots: 6-noon (morning half day), 1pm-7pm (afternoon half day), and 6am-2pm (full day). When someone reserves the "full day" it is displaying on the calendar as partially reserved. Any way we can make those reservations display as totally reserved?

    2. What is the best practice for blocking off a full day that is unavailable for reservation (i.e. the boat needs repair, weather closure, vacation, etc.)? I see the Medium License has the option for seasonal availability, but what is your suggestion if we are unable to upgrade to that license?

    I'm interested to look further of using your program.
    Can I know does this booking program has time filter?
    We would like to set a fix set of time for tuesday to sunday. and certain extra time slot for weekend as we have extended hours on weekend. If there is not time filter, is there a way to configure the way i mention?

    • Hello.
      Settings and bookings of Booking Calendar does not depend from your active theme. So after switching to new theme all settings from Booking > Settings pages will be the same.

      Only you need to recheck about inserting the Booking Calendar shortcode into the pages. Sometimes themes have own interface for editing pages.

      Booking Calendar use standard WordPress way to insert the Booking Calendar shortcode for showing booking form or availability calendar.     The working hours of resource are 08:00 to 16:00.
    I created a calendar to book those hours with Starttime and DurationTime (max of 3hours).
    The problem is...if a put a Starttime of 15:00 and a DurationTime of 3 hours (finish at 18:00), i can book, but my resource is suposed to be closed!
    How can i solve this.

      In this case you need to use “start time” and “end time” fields in your booking form (instead of duration time field there).

          If visitor select start time 15:00 and end time as 18:00 so then visitor will book 3 hours in a row from 15:00 to 18:00

    We bought the personal version and only want to show the calendar on each page for each resource.

    In the free version you had a "Show" option. but in the personal paid version it is not there and people can book from the site. We don't want them to do that. We just want to show the days that the properties are already booked.

    How do you do this in the personal version?

  8. Hi,
    I have the medium business version and am it for booking a guest house with customers arriving on either Monday, for four nights, Friday for either seven or four nights and some weeks only available for seven night bookings.

    I have the cost default set to an amount (£100). I have set seasonal filters as the daily rate changes throughout the year and have applied advanced costs. The price changes are appearing on the dates.
    I have set the start days for specific days of the week.
    The specific days selection as follows: 4,7,11,14,21
    I have set the deposit to be 25% if more than 30 days in advance.

    How do I only allow 7 day bookings in, say, 1st-28th August?
    When I do a dummy booking, the deposit amount comes out at 25%of the default daily cost , i.e. £25, not 25% of the booking.
    Finally, something has happened so I can no longer select the days. Te date turns green when I try to click it but they won't select at all.

    I am grateful for any pointers in the right direction.

    This page is having the problem of 'Calendar Loading'. I only have 1 calendar code but the form and the calendar are not showing. I only want the calendar to show, not the form, and I am using this code:

    • Hello.
      Its most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl {+} Shift {+} J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
      You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.
      You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
      If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.

    I have a problem with exporting my calender to Booking.com.
    I have seen your youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErxzWuJBoIo but when i came to the point of writing URL (/wpbm.ics) for generating the .ics feed, I came to a 404 'not found' page when I tab 'open in new window'

    I do have both 'Booking Calender' and 'Booking Manager' plugin, i have tried to deactive all unecessary plugins, and my PHP settings look like this: https://prnt.sc/p3x9ya

    • Hello.

      Please open the Booking > Settings > Sync > "Export - .ics" page and be sure that there you have to specified URL for exporting .ics feeds with one level of depth

      For example: http://server.com/ics/my_resource/

      or if its not work try to set it as this URL

      http://server.com/ics/my_resource/wpbm.ics

      Otherwise Please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors.
      If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

          1) Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
          Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
          If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.

          2) Otherwise it’s seems that at the sever side configured some restriction for do not ability to get generate feed. Please note that ics file generated by php file, it’s does not physical file at your server. To resolve this issue you need to contact support of your hosting for rechecking sever configuration.
