Hello there, I would like to know how I can set up the calendar plug-in so I can offer to my customers time slots between Monday and Sunday.I tried to go through your frequently asked questions and also tutorials you have available but I wasn’t able to figure out how to configure the plug-in please let me know if you can do it for me. I’m happy to pay any extra fees for the service
Hello.
1) You can set available only Monday and Sunday weekdays at the Booking > Settings General page in Availability section.
2) The ability to book for the specific times only possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1). Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.
You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.
Kind Regards.
Thank you fir your reply.
I have purchased the business small and I find it really hard to configure the plugin as I like it. I'm getting several errors. Is it possible to assign someone to do it for me? As I said I'm happy to pay for any fees if needed.
Please let me know if there is someone available to work on my project, unless I will be have to implement another plugin.

Chris

Hi,
thanks for the great plugin and even better support,
i have 1 question,
is it possible to set different pricing during Hi and or low season at the advanced Pricing feature.
i seem to only get 1 price in, but during low season some advanced prices are lower. (not all)
currently i'm using Business Medium
Thanks in advance
Hello.
Unfortunately the "Advanced cost" at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page does not depend from the seasons. Only in case, if you set there cost as percent from total booking cost, so in this case, its will depend from the seasons, if you have set different rates for the days.
But if you have set the cost as fixed sum, its will not depend.
We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin.
Kind Regards.
Thanks ill try to set a Sum

Hello.
1) Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.
The most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/ and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is 'sending emails via php' option and it can resolve that issue.
2) Otherwise, please recheck your error.log and mail.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors.
If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.
Kind Regards.
Hiya looking at how to set multiple fixed pricing structures for a resource:
Weekend: From Friday > 5PM - Till Sunday > 6PM
Long Weekend: From Friday > 5PM - Till Monday > 100AM
Midweek: From Monday > 5PM - Till Friday > 10AM
Week: Friday > 5PM - Till Friday > 10AM
Week: Monday > 5PM - TIll Monday > 10AM
Two Weeks: Friday > 5PM - Till Friday > 10AM
Two Week: Monday > 5PM - TIll Monday > 10AM
This would also be the only way to book these resources. I'm having the Business Large version of the plugin, but no idea how to set this up 🙂
Mmm I seem to have found it using "season filter" to create different filters and different pricing. But how can I make sure that people can only book one of these options and not select one day after another day to come to a certain selection (so I want to set fixed prices for these options and the people can only choose these options for the resource in the calendar, if available of course).
- activate range days selection mode using 2 mouse clicks
- You need to set start selection of days from Friday or Monday in sub settings of this option,
- set minimum number of days selection 3 to 15 days.
Most of clients check arrival date and check out date. But the system reserves and the following day. Are there a solution that the system wouldn't reserve the next day (arrival and departure time is 12 o'clock, minimum booking time is 1 hour)?
How to sync calendar with new booking.com website?
Hello.
Booking Calendar plugin is supporting
- import of events via .ics feeds from Google Calendar ( or Airbnb or any other calendar that support .ics format, like iCal application)
- and export bookings to .ics feeds (files), which possible to import in Google Calendar (or Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, TripAdvisor, VRBO, FlipKey and any other calendar that uses .ics format ).
Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically access this page with booking import shortcode to start import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly system will start import process and only then show booking form, when someone visit your page.
Now about export. Booking Calendar is generate .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some service (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into own system, does not depend from Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force to generate import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed tor making import.
Kind Regards.
Hi,
I have been attempting to get a discount for a given set of days to apply to 2 resources.
I display both resources on the same page. http://casaxelha.com/availability/
i have 3 discount structures where i define a % increase depending on the date range. The percent increase applies to both resources on the same dates through out year.
Look at March 16, 17, 18, 19... on Casa 1 the discount applies, you can see the price change on Casa 2 for same days you should see a price increase but you dont... it appears that the discount is only applying to Casa 1....
Glad to let you see the controls.... or screen shots.. please check it out on the live site.
thanks.

Hello.
Please be sure that you have activated the "Rates" for each specific booking resources, at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page.
The checkboxes at the left side near each specific rate must be checked at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates > "Rates" page.
If you still have an issue, please send screenshots of your cost configuration to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
Kind Regards.
FANTASTIC... great support! It worked... i had missed checking one of the rates for one of the resources!
Love this software....
Last question for today... what determines if after you place a reservation request in and display the reservation content after the request is entered, whether a payment option displays or not? What if you do not want a payment option to display but want to send the payment manually after you are in personal contact with the person? a Payment option is displayed or not ?
Hello.
After visitor submit the booking, and if the cost of booking higher than 0, so then the payment form is displaying by default.
But its possible to make a customization for do not show such payment forms, and show it ony after you will send payment request.
After making this fix, its will show payment form only in payment request during sending from Booking Listing page and do not show payment form after visitor made the booking. Fix:
Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/core/wpbc-constants.php
( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )
then find this code: if (!defined('WP_BK_PAYMENT_FORM_ONLY_IN_REQUEST')) define('WP_BK_PAYMENT_FORM_ONLY_IN_REQUEST', false );
and replace it to this code: if (!defined('WP_BK_PAYMENT_FORM_ONLY_IN_REQUEST')) define('WP_BK_PAYMENT_FORM_ONLY_IN_REQUEST', true);
Kind Regards.
I cannot get the booking details popups to appear on bookings a timeline view on the website. Is there a setting I don't know about or some other issue?
Hello.
1) Its possible only in the paid versions of Booking Calendar.
2) You need to activate this option "Booking details in popover" at the Booking > Settings General page in Booking Listing section.
3) You need to be sure that in the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section after expand "JavaScript loading settings" that this option "Disable Bootstrap loading on Front-End" was UNCHECKED.

Hi
I'm using the standard version of the booking calendar.
Is it possible to to reject / disallow bookings that fall outside a time parameter e.g. If I want to specify weekly booking periods in a season, and someone tries to book for 5 days?
Thanks for the previous advice
I've set up the booking form on the right hand side of the availability calendar, but am getting a message that the 'calendar is loading..' together with a repeat of the legend above the booking form. Is there some way I can remove this duplication and message please? See https://poppyvillas.co.uk/availability-prices/
Thanks in advance and regards
Hello.
Its because you have inserted the availability and booking form for the same booking resources into the same page.
Please remove the availability calendar shortcode from that page.
If you need to have calendar at the left and booking form at the right, so you can configure it in the paid versions of Booking Calendar.
Please use predefined template for such type of Booking form.
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields-settings-video-tutorial/

Hello.
Please check more about days selection in my previous comment here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/support/comment-page-21/#comment-16884
Please watch more useful video guides here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/
Kind Regards.
Hello.
1) Firstly you need to activate using change over days for ability to book from 17:00 to 10:00.
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#change-over-days
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-change-over-days/
2) Now about configuration of range days selection.
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-range-days-selection/
- activate range days selection mode using 2 mouse clicks
- You need to set start selection of days from Friday or Monday in sub settings of this option,
- set minimum number of days selection 3 to 15 days.
Then in the Booking Calendar shortcode in the option parameter you need to configure conditions for range days selection depend from start week day.
Please read more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/booking-calendar-shortcodes/#booking-options-condition
Example:
[booking type=1 nummonths=2 options='{select-day condition="weekday" for="1" value="5,8,15"},{select-day condition="weekday" for="5" value="3,4,8,15"}]
Please read more how easily insert booking form or availability calendar into a pages https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/ or how manually configure Booking Calendar shortcodes in content of your pages: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/

Hello.
Probably you want to use the change over days functionality, where one booking can finished at specific day and other booking can start at the same date.
This feature available in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#change-over-days
