  1. Hi,

    I am considering buying the premium version of your booking calendar.

    Is it possible to make a field where the person booking is is able to attach an image?
    We are using the booking calendar for booking of buses, and we will need the person booking to attach an image of his drivers licence.

    Is this possible?

    • Hello.
      Booking Calendar does not support the upload or attachments during booking process, yet. Sorry.

      So its does not possible to insert the upload form into the booking form of Booking Calendar plugin.
      If you need that visitor upload some file during booking process, then please configure in the email template (that sending to the visitor, after visitor made the booking) some link to the secret page, where will be exist some form for uploading files.

      For uploading files, please use some other plugin, then just insert into that "secret" page some form for ability to upload file by your visitor.

    But in this case it would not be possible to link the file they attach to the specific booking right?
    So they do not know who the drivers licence belongs to.

  3. Hi, When I make changes under Fields Settings/Form the changes don't show on frontend.
    I have cleared the browser cache, deactivated my "Litespeed Cache" plugin, deactivated one by one all my active plugins and tested, and activated the default WordPress theme.

    Any help appreciated.

  4. Hi, I have MultiUser version. Different users have different forms with different fields.
    If I make my own custom form is there a way it can be saved as a preset then depending on the user can easily be added under "Select Form Template"?

      Unfortunately, its does not possible, in actual versions. Sorry.
      The different regular users can have only own booking forms, when you logged in as specific regular user.
      We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin.

    1. Is there a way for Super Admin to deny access to Form Fields Settings for Subscribers and Contributors so they can't change or add anything when they login?
    2. Can the Booking Calendar Search widget be used to search for available check in/out dates for all properties on a website?

    I have the "Large" edition and have a few questions.

    - What is the maximum amount of resources that can be added?
    - How may child resources can be assigned to a parent resource?
    - Can you filter the calendar view by a parent resource so as it displays the calendar for the parent resource & all of the attached child resources?
    - How do you search bookings by name of person booking? I can search by Booking ID, but not by name.

    • Hello.
      1) Booking Calendar does not have limits in number of booking resources, but the speed of loading your page can depend from how many booking resources and bookings will be there.

      2) You can do this at the Booking > Resources page.

      3) I do not sure that clearly understand about this. If you need to hide the child booking resources at the Booking > Resources page you can click on specific button at the toolbar to hide child booking resources and to show only parent booking resources.
      At the front end side the system is working in different way it’s show availability in mouse over tooltip for specific parent booking resource.
      4) You can search by specific keyword at the Booking listing page. You need to expand the filter toolbar to see keyword field.

        2) On the bookings resource page, it only allows you to add 200 items. I need to add 300 - 400 child items. Do I just add these in 2 lots?

        3) I am referring to the Booking > Bookings in the back end. I can have it show just the individual parent resouce or the individual child resource no problems. But is there a way to show a single parent resource with it's child resources, but hide the rest of the other resources (parent and child)?

        To put my questions in context (especially question 2), I have a client that runs a camping park. They can have a maximum of 1200 people in the park per day / night. They do not need to assign these people a specific resource (like a room number) as they can just camp anywhere in the park. They basically just need a running total of who is camping in the park at any one time and the campers details.

        I was going to create a parent item named "Campers" and then attach 400 child resources to this named "Campsite-X" with each "Campsite-X" having a max of 3 visitors (400 sites X 3 visitors = 1200 total capacity).

        Am I doing this right? One the backend, this would create a fair few calendars to scroll through as you can imagine, so i was wondering if there was a better way.

          2) Yes, you can add other 100 booking resources during next time of adding child booking resources for specific booking resource.
          3) You can select booking resources, that you want that bookingsot show in the Booking Listing or in Calendar Overview pages by selecting specific booking resources in Filter toolbar. Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-listing-video-tutorial/
          4) Basically yes. But if you have one slot per one person, so then you need to add 1199 chld booking resources, and set for parent booking resources ma visitors as 1 person.
          Yes, its will be long list of booking resources, but right now its only the way how its possible todo.

  8. I get Message "Your account is not active" - What can I do to activate?

      Thank you for interest to the Booking Calendar.

      You are seeing this warning, because your WordPress user was not activated as regular user in Booking Calendar (have not own booking admin panel), and this user is not the super booking admin user.

      By default the first user in your website, its Super booking admin user.

      Please login to admin panel with this user. After this you will see access to the booking admin panel. Then you can activate the booking admin panel for other WordPress users at the Booking > Settings > Users page.

    For a doctor I need a calendar with different time slots per day, but these time slots/days can differ week by week. So maybe this week only 3 slots on Tuesday and 4 on Friday, next week 2 on Monday, 4 on Wednesday and 3 on Friday, ...
    Is this possible and which version do I need?

    I use the dropdown list for choosing the start and end time.
    The times which are not avaiable due to a prior booking are gray and not avaiable in the starttime dropdown list, which is correct.
    But the times in the endtime dropdown list which should be unavaible due to an existing booking are still avaiable and not gray.

      The ability to grey out times possible only for start time and range time shortcodes. Its does not work for the end time shortcodes in actual versions of Booking Calendar. But if the visitor try to make the booking for the times that already booked (by selecting the end time that unavailable ), so then system will show Warning about this and do not allow to make the booking.
