  1. I have problems with payment, I do custom wizard steps for the booking. I have no dailycost, just depends on selected visitors. How can I display Payment button? I activated PayPal, for Billing Info I see fieldname from an other form, how can I change this?

    • Hello.
      You can deactivate the payment PayPal gateway at the Booking > Settings > Payment > PayPal (tab) page by setting option “Enabled” as unchecked.

      • I dont want deactivate, I want is working. I create custom form, I see just fields from standard form in "billing info" under payment. I have no cost for a day, I have cost for selected visitors ([visitors] * 2000)

          Ok, so you do not see the custom booking form fields at your page ?
          If yes, please be sure that you have correctly configured the Booking Calendar shortcode with this custom booking form in content of the page.

          • I dont have problems with custom forms at my page! Its working, I can create a booking!

            What I want : Working payment - for my custom form.

            I have no cost for my resource, just advanced for selected amount of visitors!

              Sorry, for misunderstanding your question.

              For showing payment form the cost of booking resources must be higher than 0

              It’s can be cost for first selected visitor. So you can set as 0 for first selected visitor at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page. And configure costs only for other options (2nd selected visitor, 3rd, etc...).

                • Hello.
                  Its possible to activate to show both: deposit and total booking cost. You need to activate this option "Show deposit and total booking cost together" at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
                  Important! Please note, at admin panel for booking will be saved deposit cost and notes about deposit, do not depend from the visitor choice of this payment. You need to check each such payment manually!

  2. Ok, I just upgraded to the Business Large single site version, How can I create specific time blocks, i.e 8-12, 10-2, 12-4, that will not be available when 2 have been booked?

      You need to create several booking resources for each of your timeslots. and then set capacity to these booking resources as 2 (add child booking resource). If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Book

      • Ok, I created a resource for each time slots I need. What do I have to do with a child resource? I'm sorry to ask questions, but I have never used one of these and you are being vague with answers. I also need this to be all on one calendar. I don't want to have several different calendars on one page for different time slots.

        • In my fist message, I was explained that its does not possible with one calendar.
          The Workflow hereis following.

          1) You are having booking resources like this at the Booking > Resources page:
          ID | Title | Info
          3 - Resource 12:00 - 13:00 (capacity=2), max visitors = 1
          4 ---------- 12:00 - 13:00 (child resource)
          5 - Resource 13:00 - 14:00 (capacity=2), max visitors = 1
          6 ---------- 13:00 - 14:00 (child resource)
          7 - Resource 14:00 - 15:00 (capacity=2), max visitors = 1
          8 ---------- 14:00 - 15:00 (child resource)

          2) Now you need to insert into the post or page the booking resource selection shortcode (so you will have selection similar to this example https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/select-resource/

          For example:
          [bookingselect label='Please select your timeslot:' form_type='standard' nummonths=1 type='3,5,7']

          As you can see here ID of booking resources, is 3, 5, 7 - its ID of parent booking resources.

          3) Additionally you need to activate the "Set capacity based on number of visitors" option at the Booking > Settings General page in advanced section, and this radio button "Display tooltip on calendar(s) to show availability based on total (fixed) number of visitors for the resource, which can be at free booking resource items.".

            I followed all of the above steps, but when I make a booking for a specific day the availability number does not change. And when I make two for a specific day (my capacity) the date still shows as available.

            • Hello.
              If you do not see the booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the "Advanced section", please be sure that you have not activated this option: "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s):". This option must be unchecked. If its checked, please uncheck it and update the settings.
              Also please be sure that this option "Use pending days as available" unchecked, as well.

              If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

  3. Hi,

    I am unable to change the booking dates for an existing booking... everytime i click edit booking and i can change the booking dates and I click save but none of the changes are being reflected, why is that?

    • Hello.

      1) Its most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl + Shift + J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
      You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
      If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.

      2) Otherwise, please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

    I know that it is possible to select a day or days so that they are set as unavailable but is it possible to make unavailable half days/specific times?
    So for example I only want people to be able to book upto 12 noon on Saturdays

  5. Hi,

    I'm using the free version. When I export an individual booking to Google Calendar, sometimes it exports all the booking details in the "note" section (name, address, phone number... all the content from the booking form) and sometimes it doesn't - it only exports the person's name as the "event title".

    I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I would like to have the details exported for every event. It does not make a difference whether I export the booking while it is still "pending" or when it is confirmed. Any idea why this could be happening?

      Booking Calendar export bookings via .ics feeds by assigning these booking form fields to the fields in .ics feed:

      'SUMMARY field'

      In the Booking Calendar Free version assign to 'SUMMARY' field in .ics feed, one of exist fields from your booking form, that can have names like this 'name', 'firstname', 'secondname', 'lastname'

      In the paid versions of Booking Calendar possible to define, what exactly field from the booking form to assign to 'SUMMARY' field in the .ics feed.
      You can define it at the Booking > Settings General page in "Admin panel" section in the option "Booking title (admin panel)"

      'DESCRIPTION field'
      Booking Calendar export all bookings details (that you have defined as fields at the Booking > Settings > Form page) to this field 'DESCRIPTION' in the .ics feed.
      Please note, in the paid versions, all such bookings details defined at the "Content of booking fields data" form at the Booking > Settings > Form page.

    I discovered wpbookingcalendar with the free version and I think to upgrade to premium version.

    I wanted to know if it was possible to group several days in the calendar. For example, group on Saturdays and Sundays to force reservations all weekend?

    If so, which premium version can do it?

    1. change the colors of the calendar elements (pending, etc)
    How is it done?

    2. change the colors of the Reservation calendar view - (where the ID and the information of each reservation are displayed) how is it done?

    3. change the bookingselect type format of the calendar transforming it into a calendar similar to the one in the Reservation calendar view. How is it done?

    I inserted a "select starttime" but i am not able to show it up with the shortcode [start_time_hint]. The result is always showing 00:00, instead of the selected starttime.

      Its supporting in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
      Also you need to use endtime or duration of time fields as well. Its obligatory.
      For example:

      1) Star time and duration of time shortcodes, like this:
      Start time: [select starttime "10:00" "11:00" "12:00" "13:00" "14:00" "15:00" "16:00" "18:00"] Time Duration: [select durationtime "15 min@@00:15" "30 min@@00:30" "45 min@@00:45" "1 hour@@01:00" "1 hour 30 min@@01:30"]
      for ability to book several consecutive hours during a day.

      2) Or you can use start time and end time selections or time entering shortcodes:
      Start time: [select starttime "10:00" "11:00" "12:00" "13:00" "14:00" "15:00" "16:00" "18:00"] End time: [select endtime "11:00" "12:00" "13:00" "14:00" "15:00" "16:00" "19:00"]

      And for showing times in the booking form, you need to use this shortcode:
      [start_time_hint] - Selected Start Time. Example:10:00 [end_time_hint] - Selected End Time. Example:12:00[selected_dates_hint] - All selected dates. Example:11/25/2023, 11/26/2023, 11/27/2023 [selected_timedates_hint] - All selected dates with times. Example:11/25/2023 10:00, 11/26/2023, 11/27/2023 12:00 [selected_short_dates_hint] - All selected dates in "short" format. Example:11/25/2023 - 11/27/2023 [selected_short_timedates_hint] - All selected dates with times in "short" format.. Example:11/25/2023 10:00 - 11/27/2023 12:00

      Of course, you need to select the days in calendar for be able to show such hints.

        Is there a way to set duration automatically depending on user choise in a select option. For exemple

        if choise is Retül Fit complet then duration is 2 hours, else 30 min.

          Sorry, its does not possible by default.
          But for duration of time, you can use these shortcodes with labels:
          [select durationtime "Retül Fit complet (CHF 320)@@02:00" "Positionnement (CHF 150)@@00:30"]
          Its will show in the booking form the selection of labels - your test there, but will be saved into the booking data as times selection.

          So its means its will not save this "Retül Fit complet/..." items, instead of that by selecting time duration you can check what exactly time was selected.

          Otherwise, for having both selection service and time duration you will be need to write some custom JavaScript code, which will change time duration, if you will select some option in fist selectbox.

            The last thing i would need now, is the ability to print durationtime labels (Retül Fit complet (CHF 320) instead of value (02:00) in the email and reservation list...

            Is this possible ?

              That’s what I was wrote in my previous email, unfortunately it’s does not possible, if you will use only durationtime. In emails and in Booking listing page always showing the values of fields and not the titles.
