Hi, I have bought and installed a Personal SingleSite licence 8.2 under WP 4.9.7 (no plugin which can cause conflict is installed).
Order no. {Cutted}.
I have synchronized 5 resources using the URL provided by Homeaway and published the corresponding widgets in each resource page.
The problem is that while in the timeline in the back-end I see some days as "booked", those days appear as "pending" in the widget calendar.
I have created a custom skin so I thought the problem may be caused by a wrong CSS rule; however the problem still appears even when I use one of the standard skins.
Please help me with this issue.
Thank you and kind regards,
Paolo
Hello.
If the issue relative to show bookings as pending after you have imported these bookings, and you want to have these bookings as approved.
So then this feature available in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions. In this versions you can activate this option "Auto approve bookings during import" at the Booking > Settings General page in "Auto cancellation / auto approval of bookings" section. So by this you can activate auto approve of all bookings during import from external source(s).
You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.
You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the "Upgrade" menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.
Kind Regards.
OK I am going to upgrade to Business Small, what is the procedure?
Do I need to uninstall the Personal plugin or what?
Will the custom skin I have prepared still good after the upgrade?
It took me a while to do it.
We're struggling to get the pricing to workout correctly on the Business Medium version.
We've set-up a price per resource, then using the valuation days functionality have set a price for 1 day, 2 days, 3 days and 4 days (week days only). It's then full price for weekends. This works on the frontend except when you start your date range on a weekend.
Starting your date range on M,T,W,T you get the correct pricing discounts. Starting on F,S,S and continuing into the following week the week day discounts don't apply.
I'm happy to provide further details.
Hello.
1) If you want to use "Valuation days" (instead of rates), so then please be sure that you have defined separately 7 season filters for each of your weekdays at the Booking > Resources > Filters page. Then during configuration of "Valuation days" cost settings, please be sure that you have defined costs , when visitor start selection and "check in" day belonging to specific season filter. So by this you can configure the different "Valuation days" for days, depend from check in day.
Hi
I've installed the free version whilst building my site using the Zerif Lite theme by ThemeIsle and there appears to be a conflict.
With your plugin active the mobile menu expands and then immediately collapses again. With your plugin deactivated the menu works as would be expected.
Any idea on an easy fix?
Cheers
Chris
Hello.
The conflict can be if the theme is using Bootstrap library and version of Bootstrap is different then version in Booking Calendar. Booking Calendar is use bootstrap library 3.3.5.
In this case, possible issues with not showing mouse over tooltips at the front-ens side in Booking Calendar. Its tooltips for showing booking data, times and cost, when mouse over specific day.
You can open the Booking > Settings General page and in Advanced section click on " Show advanced settings of JavaScript loading " link and then set as checked only this option " Disable Bootstrap loading on Front-End ".
Then Save the changes and test it.
2) Other solution can be to load CSS and JavaScript files of Booking Calendar only at the page(s) with booking form or availability calendar and do not load such files at all other pages. If you want to make such fix, then open the Booking > Settings General page and in Advanced section click on “+ Show advanced settings of JavaScript loading” link. Then set as checked this option “Load JS and CSS files only on specific pages” and in textarea specify all relative urls of pages with booking forms. One url per one line, like this: /booking/app1/
/other/service1/
Kind Regards.
Hello,
I am sure there is a way to do this but amnt that good at coding so sorry to ask (i did look through the FAQ).
a)We have a small cafe that has a room which can either be used for 6 people or 12 people. It can be booked by the half hour or the hour with a rate of 24 for 6 people or 28 for 12. So far, so good as i defined two an option for people to choose from (<6, 6-12) and then applied a pricing premium of 160% for the latter. That all works fine.
b) The problem comes when we get to the number of hours. I have put all the hourly slots in and again they can select from them okay and the pricing multiplies (as) by the cost per hour or half hour. However, we only charge for a maximum of 5 hours i.e. above the 120 (<6 room) or 190 <6-12 room) its a capped daily cost. I cant figure any way to limit the total cost to 120 or 190 per day. Is there anyway to do that?.
Hello.
I do not sure that clearly understand about this issue.
But probabaly you can use start time and duration of time shortcodes for your booking form (30 min and 1 hour).
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
And then configure additional cost for those 2 options at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page in Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Maybe i am not explaining well. Basically we offer meetings and charge by the hour except that for over 5 hours there is no additional charge i.e. 5 hours is the same price as 6, 7.5 or even 8 hours (its already the full day rate).
On the bookings form we need to be able to allow people to book the time slots and so we have set that up so they can do so e.g. choosing start time as 10am and end time as 2pm which would give us 4 hours. We are indeed doing that as you suggest using start date and duration to calculate the number of half hours or hours. We have set the pricing option to be by hour too. The problem is that once it goes over 5 hours to e.g. 6.5 or 8 hours it keeps multiplying the number of hours * the price per hour. We actually want to cap the total cost at no more than the price of 5 hours i.e. 5 hours is already the full day rate so you can reserve for 5 hours or 7 hours for the same cost (though we still need to know the actual hours). Is it possible to cap the price? If there was a pricing table layout it would look like this.
<6 people 6-12 people (60% premium)
1 hour 24 38
1.5 hour 36 58
2 hour 48 76
2.5 hour 60 96
... and so on for 2.5 to 5 hours
5 hour 120 190
5.5 hour 120 190
6 hour 120 190
... and so on up to
8 hour 120 190
We are already also using the functionality from the video you suggested / additional cost to handle when it is less than 6 people or more than 6 people (the more than 6 people adds an extra 60%).
Thanks,
Anthony
Hello.
Basically you need to configure for duration of time selection options for 5 hours or more the discounts (negative value, or appropriate percent for discount) as addional cost at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page.
Kind Regards.
Thank you but I am not sure how to do that in terms of code or set up. What would that potentially look like as an example please?
Hello.
1) you need to have start time and duration of time selection like this:
<p>Select start time:<br />[select starttime "08:00" "08:30" "09:00" "09:30" "10:00" "10:30" "11:00" "11:30" "12:00" "12:30" "13:00" "13:30" "14:00" "14:30" "15:00" "15:30" "16:00" "16:30" "17:00" "17:30" "18:00" "18:30" "19:00" "19:30" "20:00" "20:30" "21:00"]</p>
<p>Select time duration:<br />[select durationtime "00:30" "01:00" "01:30" "02:00" "03:00" "04:00" "05:00" "06:00"]</p>
2) And then configure at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page
for
durationtime
"00:30" = 100%
"01:00" = 100%
"01:30" = 100%
"02:00" = 100%
"03:00" = 100%
"04:00" = 100%
"05:00" = -100 usd
"06:00" = -200 usd
where for the time duration higher than 5 hours you will configure some discount to reduce the booking cost.
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/advanced-costs-video-overview/
A little late but just wanted to come back and say thanks - this works great now.
I have a specific use case. I think your plugin will do it, but I will need one of the paid versions. Just want to make sure I'm thinking right.
I have three venues, all exactly the same.
I need to show one calendar for all three venues (I believe I can use aggregate?)
I would like the calendar to show different colors for one booking, two bookings and three bookings on a day (not sure I can do this)
Can you tell me which version of your plugin I need? I'm thinking just the personal paid version.
Thanks much.
Hello.
1) If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity
At this version possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource. But its possible to make booking only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only saved as data into database, but do not apply to availability logic).
Highly recommend, to check this article about configuration of capacity and availability for booking resources: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept/
2) Relative showing different background color for days depend from number of bookings. In Booking Calendar Business Large version each calendar day cell have specific CSS class, where defined availability per days. So in your case, if you will have capacity = 3 (its means 3 available slots per days), depend from the bookings on specific days the different days will have CSS classes like this:
So you will be need to make additional CSS customization for the calendar skin to show the different background color of such days depend from these CSS classes (number of bookings per days, that already exist). Please read more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/change-skin-and-colors/
Disclaimer. Unfortunately we can not start, right now, some personal customization or custom development, because almost have no free time.
Check more about new features here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/need-new-feature/
Thank you for understanding.
Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.
Kind Regards.

Hello.
And we just retested the contact form here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/contact/
Its working fine, and we was received and replied to your message.
Kind Regards.
Hi
I’m setting up a small, simple and non commercial website for seven members sharing at boat.
Booking Calendar is a perfect solution for reserving the boat – however I would like all members (visitors) to be able to see who booked the boat.
I have tried to export and display the ics feed, but the output (DESRIPTION) doesn’t look so good – one string of text without the possibility to configure and style the output
Also I’m struggling a bit with these issues:
• The select|rangetime form field output in the ics feed shows AM/PM and not 24 hour format
• The checkbox doesn’t visually display the checkmark when activated
I’m still using the free version, but need to know if a paid version can solve this in a nice way so that all visitors can see all the details of other visitors reservations – before I purchase.
Otherwise thank you for the best booking calendar plugin – I have tried many others, but Booking Calendar is by far the best choice for my purpose.
Regards
Poul
Hello.
1) At front end side possible to show the booking details in mouse over tooltip in Timeline view. It’s the same view as in Calendar Overview page in Admin panel but in read only mode. Please note it’s does not the inline month view calendar where you can select the date(s) for booking.
2) In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions possible to show booking details also in the inline month view calendar but only for the bookings that was made for specific time-slot. You can activate to show this tooltip at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section by setting checked this option " Show booking details in tooltip " and configure shortcodes for showing booking details for this option " Booking details ". Please check attached screenshot.
Its works only for bookings for specific timeslot(s)! Its does not show any tooltip, if you have booked entire day.
3) The Booking Calendar is export to .ics feed as description, the booking details from the "Content of booking fields data" of Booking > Settings > Form page in paid versions. Unfortunately, there is no separate form for configuration of exporting details. Sorry.
4) You can define the time-format at the Booking > Settings General page in Admin panel section (in paid versions). And in the Booking Calendar Free version its take time format from the WordPress > Settings general page. Please note, the exported .ics feed for dates have own time format, so its does not depend from the Booking Calendar. But when you import this .ics feed into other service, like Airbnb, the format of times in these form fields is defined by this service. So please recheck settings of specific service about changing time format.
5) Relative checkbox, its seems like CSS conflict issue. Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation. If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
Otherwise, please send the link to the page with booking form where you are having this issue I will check it.
PS: The issue "The checkbox doesn’t visually display the checkmark when activated" relates to Chrome browser (also on mobile device) - seems to work OK in IE browser
Hello.
The popover functionality relative to admin panel, you can find inside of this file: ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/core/admin/wpbc-class-timeline.php
in this function:
public function wpbc_get_booking_info_4_tooltip( $bk_id, $bookings, $booking_types, $text_in_day_cell='', $header_title='', $content_text='' ){
...
Disclaimer. Unfortunately we can not start, right now, some personal customization or custom development, because almost have no free time.

Thank you for understanding.
Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.
The Popover does not show the times correctly, for our bookign it does not show the times at all.
Also i want to remove any payment info from the popover. Can i just turn off payments entirely?
Hello.
For ability to show times in coentent of popover or in booking listing page (booking details), you need to configure correctly the shortcode at the "Content of booking fields data" form in Booking > Settings > Form page.
For example, if you have in booking form for timeslots this shortcode:
<p>Select Times:<br />[select rangetime "full day@@00:00 - 24:00" "10:00 AM - 12:00 PM@@10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 PM - 02:00 PM@@12:00 - 14:00" "02:00 PM - 04:00 PM@@14:00 - 16:00" "04:00 PM - 06:00 PM@@16:00 - 18:00" "06:00 PM - 08:00 PM@@18:00 - 20:00"]</p>
then in the "Content of booking fields data" form at the Booking > Settings > Form page you need to have this shortcode: <strong>Times</strong>:<span class="fieldvalue">[rangetime]</span><br/>
2) Its does not possible to remove the cost (I can suggest you see 0.0) from the popover tooltip in admin panel. You will be need to make fix for that:
Its inside of this file: ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/core/admin/wpbc-class-timeline.php
Once again. Disclaimer. Unfortunately we can not start, right now, some personal customization or custom development, because almost have no free time.

Thank you for understanding.
Please note, if you will modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guaranteed the correct work of plugin and do not support it.

Hello.
If the issue relative to show bookings as pending after you have imported these bookings, and you want to have these bookings as approved.
So then this feature available in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions. 1) After purchase upgrade, you will receive link for downloading Booking Calendar Business Small version.
Then follow this instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/upgrade-from-lower-to-higher-paid-version/
2) You will be need to backup your custom skin and upload it once again to the new version.
Or you can place your custom skin in specific folder, for be able to use it (do not depend from the version or updates). Check more here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/change-skin-and-colors/

We're struggling to get the pricing to workout correctly on the Business Medium version.

Hi
I've installed the free version whilst building my site using the Zerif Lite theme by ThemeIsle and there appears to be a conflict.
With your plugin active the mobile menu expands and then immediately collapses again. With your plugin deactivated the menu works as would be expected.
Any idea on an easy fix?

One url per one line, like this:
/booking/app1/ /other/service1/
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#additional-cost
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/advanced-costs-video-overview/
Kind Regards.
<p>Select start time:<br />[select starttime "08:00" "08:30" "09:00" "09:30" "10:00" "10:30" "11:00" "11:30" "12:00" "12:30" "13:00" "13:30" "14:00" "14:30" "15:00" "15:30" "16:00" "16:30" "17:00" "17:30" "18:00" "18:30" "19:00" "19:30" "20:00" "20:30" "21:00"]</p> <p>Select time duration:<br />[select durationtime "00:30" "01:00" "01:30" "02:00" "03:00" "04:00" "05:00" "06:00"]</p>
2) And then configure at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page
for
durationtime "00:30" = 100% "01:00" = 100% "01:30" = 100% "02:00" = 100% "03:00" = 100% "04:00" = 100% "05:00" = -100 usd "06:00" = -200 usd
where for the time duration higher than 5 hours you will configure some discount to reduce the booking cost.
You can test it in the live demo here https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Watch video about this feature here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/availability-capacity-video-overview/
So in your case, if you will have capacity = 3 (its means 3 available slots per days), depend from the bookings on specific days the different days will have CSS classes like this:
reserved_days_count3
reserved_days_count2
reserved_days_count1
or unavailable days as its showing in live demos.
Need a refund but can't get the send button to actually send. I have deleted everything that you said I need to but am unable to get thru to you. I would like a refund for the Small Business Booking Calendar please. I bought it on July 6. I have deleted the calendar from my website (peacefulwinds.com) and also the email you sent with the link to the program.

In timeline view it’s showing tooltip at the checking day of booking. Check it here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/timeline/
6) You can test premium Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.
Please read the Booking Calendar version overview here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/
Please watch more useful video guides here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/
Kind Regards.
PS: The issue "The checkbox doesn’t visually display the checkmark when activated" relates to Chrome browser (also on mobile device) - seems to work OK in IE browser
Wow that was a quick reply - Thank you so much !
Wish you a great day!
Poul
Have a nice day too.
Kind Regards.
How do i modify the contents of the popup for bookings

Hello.
The popover functionality relative to admin panel, you can find inside of this file: ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/core/admin/wpbc-class-timeline.php
in this function:
public function wpbc_get_booking_info_4_tooltip( $bk_id, $bookings, $booking_types, $text_in_day_cell='', $header_title='', $content_text='' ){ ...

<p>Select Times:<br />[select rangetime "full day@@00:00 - 24:00" "10:00 AM - 12:00 PM@@10:00 - 12:00" "12:00 PM - 02:00 PM@@12:00 - 14:00" "02:00 PM - 04:00 PM@@14:00 - 16:00" "04:00 PM - 06:00 PM@@16:00 - 18:00" "06:00 PM - 08:00 PM@@18:00 - 20:00"]</p>
then in the "Content of booking fields data" form at the Booking > Settings > Form page you need to have this shortcode:
<strong>Times</strong>:<span class="fieldvalue">[rangetime]</span><br/>
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields-settings-video-tutorial/
2) Its does not possible to remove the cost (I can suggest you see 0.0) from the popover tooltip in admin panel. You will be need to make fix for that:
Find this line:
$content_text .= '<div class=\'label0 label-default0 wpbc-popover-cost\'>' . $booking_cost . '</div>';
and comment it:
// $content_text .= '<div class=\'label0 label-default0 wpbc-popover-cost\'>' . $booking_cost . '</div>';
Its inside of this file: ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/core/admin/wpbc-class-timeline.php
Once again. Disclaimer. Unfortunately we can not start, right now, some personal customization or custom development, because almost have no free time.
