  1. Why do I have to pay to evaluate your solution? Is there a possibibily to get a one month developers license to try everything out before I pay? I don't like this "Pay before you try".

  2. I already have the free trial installed on my Wp web site, and been fiddling with it during the day. I'm satisfied on one hand, and not satisfied on the other. And over all: the impossible task to tell anything without getting the possibility without paying for it.
I guess I'll have to move on. I like your app, and think this might be the solution, but how can I tell if I can't try everything?
    Sad.

  3. So this demo site has full functionality?! I'll give it a go tomorrow.
And thank you for your kind support!

  4. I recently purchased Booking Calendar Business Small (single site usage) version. I am having trouble setting up the below payment resources. Price per night is determined by the number of guests, or is based on a weekly rate. Prior to purchasing, I was told the Business Small version of Booking Calendar offered this feature. Please help.

    NIGHTLY COST
    $80/night – 2 guests
    $150/night – 4 guests (2 night minimum stay)

    WEEKLY COST
    $460/week – 2 guests
    $850/week – 4 guests

  5. Hello.
We are using the pre-loaded plugin Booking Calendar 8.2 with WP 4.9.6. The page where we are seeing the error message is here: https://sailfishsearanchrental.com/2018-bookings/
We see the error "Warning! Booking calendar for this booking resource are already at the page, please check more about this issue at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/why-the-booking-calendar-widget-not-show-on-page/" in red small type that fades out quickly directly below the text "Book Your Stay at Sailfish Retreat Today / 3 nights minimum stay • Calendar updated daily." But we are unsure of what is making this error message show on-page and how to make it not show.
    Thank you for your help.

    • Hello.
      1) For the same booking resource its does not possible to show it 2 times at the same visible page.
Its possible to show at the same page the calendars for different booking resources only.
      Check more here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/why-the-booking-calendar-widget-not-show-on-page/

If you inserted into the same visible page the shortcode for booking form [booking ... ] and also "availability calendar" [bookingcalendar ...] so then you need to remove last shortcode.

The same situation if you have shortcode for booking form and also widget for booking form for the same booking resource. You need to remove widget with calendar for the same booking resource, or select there other booking resource.

      2) Also such issue can appear when your plugin or theme use some cache system.
Please recheck for any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

Otherwise, please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason of this issue.
      Thank you.

  6. Dear Sirs,

I am using the Business Small edition of your plugin, upgrading from the Personal, and I manage 5 resources syncing them from the Homeaway website.
I have built the 5 shortcodes and published them on a page but when I view that page to start syncing the bookings, for the first resource I get the following error:

    Array
    (
[0] => cURL error 28: Resolving timed out after 5514 milliseconds
    )

This error does not always appear because I managed to import the bookings for that resource at the third or fourth attempt.
It never appears for the other four resources.
I have tried publishing just one shortcode on the page but the error appeared anyway.

    What can I do?

    Thanks and kind regards,

    Paolo

    • Hello.
It’s seems like some internet connection error. May be your server have not have good internet connection and can not connect to HomeAway.

Or at that page you are having too many scripts or too many bookings at the HomeAway, and there not enough time for downloading ics feed.

I think it’s relative to first point.
      Kind Regards.

      • I browsed on the Internet looking for a way to increase the value of cUrl timeout and found this script: URL which seems to solve the problem.

I hope this may help other Booking Calendar users which should face the same problem.

        Paolo

  7. Hi,

I am using your Business Large SingleSite 8.2 plugin.

I currently have a resource (camping site) that I would like to book using 2 different booking forms so as I can adjust the individual advanced costs depending on which form is used. The issue I have is that I would like to mark specific dates as available on the first booking form (able to be selected) but have the same dates unavailable on the second booking form (not able to be selected).

I guess I was wondering if there was any way, maybe by shortcode or the "custom value to booking form" (https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/#booking-options-parameter-transfer) feature, to achieve this?

    Thanks
    Matt

    • Hello.
Unfortunately if you will use it for the same booking resource it’s does not possible.
As some workaround here, I can suggest that you can add new booking resource. Then make blank booking for this new booking resource on those dates.

Then in the page for first booking resource with custom form, where you want to have unavailable those days in CONTENT OF THE PAGE, you need to edit the Booking Calendar shortcode and add the aggregate parameter, where specify ID of new booking resource. In this case the dates in this page will be unavailable.

Please read how manually to configure Booking Calendar shortcodes here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-shortcodes/ and check more about aggregate parameter.

      Kind Regards.

  8. How do I now block out all unavailable days? How do I do that en masse?

  9. Hello,
I'm a developer using the Booking Calendar Business Large on a client's cabin rental site.
My client allows guests to book any number of days during most of the year, but during "peak season" they are only able to rent for a full week at a time starting on Saturday. I see the "Type of days selection in calendar" section in Settings can do what I want as far as selecting a fixed/dynamic number of days, but it affects the entire year. Is there a way to apply this setting to only certain seasons?
Thank you in advance for your help!

  10. Hello, I have the free version and I have two questions. I want to be able to only make the calendar show one particular month with four specific days: August 22-25 and I can't seem to find a solution for that. Another question is that the emails both to the admin and to the visitor are consistently going to spam which will not work for us. Is there any way to fix this?

    • Hello.
      1) It’s possible to set as available or unavailable only specific days in calendar via season filters at the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#availability
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-season-availability/

      2) The marking email as SPAM or not SPAM very depend from the visitors personal actions (what emails was marked as spam and what was not).

I can suggest that you can change the content and/or subject of emails at the Booking > Settings > Emails page
and change the "from email" (to your server email). It can be a reason why the mail system mark this email as spam.

Usually, when visitor once mark the email as not spam, in a future this email will come to inbox.
And of course some visitors can have this email as normal mail and other can receive it as spam, if they previously was mark similar email as spam.

So its very depend from the actions of the visitor previously about the emails and content of the email.
Right now I can only suggest to change the content of email and recheck that "From" address in the email was relative to your website URL.

      Kind Regards.
