Hi.
I just migrated a site from a development directory (was accessed by a subdomain) to the main www directory on the same server. The site uses the Business Medium SingleSite 8.3.2 edition. Before I migrated the site, I had created two custom forms. I had two resources. Each one defaulted to a corresponding custom form.
Now that the site has been migrated, the custom forms have disappeared.
wp_bookingtypes still shows the default_form assignments:
SELECT * FROM `wp_bookingtypes`
booking_type_id title import export cost default_form
6 Meeting Hall -------------... NULL 60 meeting-hall-form
5 Conference Room --------... NULL 30 conference-room-form
But these forms are no longer available in the booking form dropdown on the Field Settings page nor anywhere else.
Do you know what's going on?
Thanks,
Tara

Dear mister,
I notice a strange behaviour selecting multiple days on the booking form while using time slots.
When putting off 'multiple days', the program works fine.
But with 'multiple days' selection there is a strange behaviour.
I rent out a room for yoga and sports practice, f.e. a half day.
For half/partial days I use the time slots. It works nice for 1 day reservation.
Some cosumers want to rent the room, for example every Tuesday from 13:00 to 16:00 (no other days)
When they select the dates (not consecutively), something strange happens.
For example, someone selects two dates: 18 september AND 25 september.
Strangely: First selected date, is calculated from 13:00 to all day.
Second selected date, (25 september, the week after) is from morning to 16:00
I think this is not the purpose.
It should calculate 18 sept from 13:00 to 16:00 and 25 sept from 13:00 to 16:00
So the program acts like the days are consecutively selected (which is not the case)
How can this be ?
I am in the beginning of the free version,
but when this works properly I would like to order the business version in the future with payment options.
Hello.
If you select multiple days, then ("by default") system define start and end time in booking form as start time for check in day and end time for check out date (last selected date).
For be able to use these timeslot in booking form as time-slot booking for each selected dates, you need to activate this option "Use time selections as recurrent time slots" at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section, if you want to use recurrent time to reserve several days. This means that middle days will be partially booked by actual times, otherwise the time in the booking form will be used as check-in/check-out time for the first and last day of the reservation.
This option available only in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions.
Hello, i'm using Version 9.Business.Medium.SingleSite.8.3.2 to build up a car rental.
The car is rentable on a hourly base 24H.
I'm using a startime and a endtime selection from 00:00 till 24:00.
BUG1: If i do a reservation from 00:00 to xx:xx the calender shows the complete day as fully booked even if its only a partial booking. If i choose the starttime a day before at 24:00 this doesnt happen (but is very missleading)
BUG2: If i choose a day which already has bookings the startime selection shows the already booked times as not available (very nice feature!) but the endtime selections doesn't do this trick...
BUG3: If i choose a starttime from 12:00 and a endtime at 12:00 3 days later the calculated price is 0 - if the endtime is 13:00 it calculates the complete price as 1h cost x 3 days
BUG4: For longer bookings i set in the price settings that a 1 day booking should have a lower price - this doesnt has any effect if i work with a price by hour
Can you please have a look at this? I hope this are no bugs and i only did something wrong
THX Ralf
Hello.
1) Its known issue (feature). If the booking starting from 00:00 then system make booking for full day. You need to have start selection at least from 00:01 (because 00:00 and 24:00 its the same time).
You can have in your booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page instead of entering the time fields, the selection of start time and end time, and start selection of start time from "00:01" ( please note, you can also use labels for this option as any text). Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
For example:
Start time: [select starttime "08:00" "08:30" "09:00" "09:30" "10:00" "10:30" "11:00" "11:30" "12:00" "12:30" "13:00" "13:30" "14:00" "14:30" "15:00" "15:30" "16:00" "16:30" "17:00" "17:30" "18:00" "18:30" "19:00" "19:30" "20:00" "20:30" "21:00"]
End time: [select endtime "01:00 PM@@13:00" "03:00 PM@@15:00" "05:00 PM@@17:00"]
2) Basically, system have to check (depend from start time and end time), if its intersect any other selected times, and depend from this selection or entering (both start time and end time) system have to show warning that the times already booked. Please try to retest it once again, otherwise, please send the link to the page where you are having this issue, and what exactly times you have selected and what day try to book.
3) Just retested, and its working correctly. Please note, if you are using [cost_hint] shortcode in the booking form to show the booking cost and also using the start and end time for entering times as text fields: Time:<br />[starttime] - [endtime]
System does not update the cost of the booking after entering the start or end time. System can update cost in the booking form, only after selection (re-selection) of dates in calendar, or after selection of some options in selectboxes or checkboxes. So you need to test it with selection of other dates.
Or to use instead of text fields for entering the start and end time the selectboxes for selection start and end time, as in description in point #1. So then system will update cost hint after each selection of time.
4) Yes, its correct. "Valuation days" is working only for full days, and not work for times. So if you have selcted 3 days, and have "Valuation days" like this: Together 2 days = 100 USD, then the cost of 2 first days will be 100 USD + cost of third day until end time of this day.
Please note, you can set cost per 1 day cost settings at the Booking > Settings > Payment page, and also activate this option
"Time impact to cost", if you want the time selection on the booking form applied to the cost calculation.
Thanks for your fast reply!
1)If i put the starttime to 00:01 the price shows: -166 636.67 CHF for an hour
if i put the starttime to 00:10 the price looks okay.....
2) What i mean is that in the starttime selection i can't choose the already booked times but in the endtime selection i can...
3)Im using selectboxes for the start and endtimes and i can see that the cost_hint becomes updatet but its still false...
4) Yes, Validation days are not working for hourly bookings - very sad
For me it looks like that your system is not useable for hourly rentals...
Hello.
1) Its because, cost set per 1 hour or per 1 day with time impact to the cost, and in this case, you have selected time like 59 minutes instead of 1 hour if you set start time as 00:01 and end time as 01:00
You can set "Currency format" the "Number of decimal points" as 0, so in this case, system will round the cost the 166 637 CHF
2) Yes, in the end time all times options are available. But if visitor select some option that really booked, system will check it at the submit process, and show warning message about selection some other available time-slot. And the booked timeslots possible to see in mouse over tooltip.
3) Its can be configured for times cost or for the days, or even for times for specific number of selected days based on 24 hours per day (But if you will use "Valuation days" cost settings, so here exist some restrictions).
By the way, I have one suggestion. Please try to make your discount based on specific day cost.
For example, if you have some discount, if visitor select 4 days, so then tou can apply this discount to forth day, and not for all days Together (but in this case, the end time can be affected).
Example: For 4th day = 100 usd per this day
Kind Regards.
after installing and testing it
at the moment the booking is done the website gives a error 400 error
test email is delivered ok
email at the site is working
Hello.
Please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors.
If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

Hi, I'm having 2 problems (probably separate) with the plugin.
1. The plugin sends 2 confirmation emails to the admin upon approval (and autoapproval is turned on). They are identical. I tried unchecking "Enable / disable sending email(s) to additional addresses (admin@; sales@; others@)" where we put in our admin email, but then it sends 0 confirmation emails, which is worse. Any way to have it just send 1 confirmation email?
2. When a time slot is booked, it only sometimes shows greyed out in the booking form. So, for example, we have 6 times slots booked and approved for tomorrow (9/19), but only three time slots display as unavailable for the end-user. If you're logged into WordPress, all of the unavailable slots are greyed out, as they should be.
Thank you!
Hello.
1) After creation of new booking system is send email about new booking to the admin and to the visitor who made the booking. Its separate emails configuration at the Booking > Settings > Emails page: "New (admin)" and "New (visitor)".
Here you can define your admin email in the "New (admin)" email template in the field "To" (please be sure to specify correct email there).
If you have activated the auto-approving of all incoming bookings, so then system send "Approved" email template during time of creation of this email. Of course if you do not activated the "auto approved" feature at the Booking > Settings General page , then this email is sending only after approving this booking.
In the Booking > Settings > Emails > Approved email template, system send the email only to visitor, who made the booking. If you activate "Copy(ies)" and specify there email for the admin, so then system will send this copy to admin, as well (its have to send it only once for this approved email).
If you have issue with this last email, so then probably something wrong with configuration (and please recheck my above comments), or probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
2) Please note, the Booking Calendar can mark some as "unavailable" (grayed), if you have activated the selection of single day at the Booking > Settings General page and select day in calendar that already have booked timeslot, and if you are using time-slot list (timerange shortcode) in booking form.
So its work only in this restricted options.
But in any case, if visitor selected some time, that already booked (for example if you select multiple days, or if you have using in the booking form start and end time or start and duration of time), then system upon submit of this booking, will show warning about that this time is not available and do not allow to submit the booking.
Kind Regards.
For #1, all of the email notifications are off except for "Approved", which has a small "2" next to it. I have tried deactivating all of the other plugins, to no effect.
For #2, it had all the right settings, but it seems to be working now (without my having made any changes). So, that's weird, but I'll take it.
Hello.
The small "2" is means that this email is sending copy to some other email.
And you can configure it at the Booking > Settings > Emails > Approved page in the field "To (copy(ies))".
Kind Regards.
Right, but we only want one email. "To (copy(ies))" is set to ularl@gmu.edu (which is not the admin email for the WP install), but we receive the email twice. I can't figure out where the second copy is coming from.
Hello.
Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason of this issue.
Submissions made through the booking form are not coming through to my email address. The email address I have is functional and working. I sent a test request through the booking form two days ago and I still haven't received the request in my email. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Hello.
Please note, Booking Calendar is use standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.
The most probably you need to check the point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is 'sending emails via php' option and it can resolve that issue.
Kind Regards.
Hello
since two days i try to disable the clock icon and the popover on the calendar, and i want to set pending reservation period as unavailable… https://www.lamaisondachille.be/test/
thanks
Hello.
1) when I opened that page, I can see only this text:
Aucune page ne correspond à votre recherche
Désolé, l'article que vous recherchez est introuvable. Veuillez utiliser la fonction Rechercher ci-dessous.
Suggestions :
Vérifiez l’orthographe des termes de recherche.
Utilisez des mots clés plus génériques.
Essayez d'utiliser plusieurs termes de recherche.
2) Please note, the clock icon near specific dates is showing only if previosly was made the booking for specific time-slot.
So if you will not have the timeslots in the booking form, and make the booking for selected date so then entire day will be makerked as aunava and there will be no clock icon. But previous bookings will be with clock icon, because previous bookings, still have info about the times. So you need to edit or cancel the previous bookings to avoid showing clock icon there.
3) If you do not see the booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the "Advanced section", please be sure that you have not activated this option: "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s)". This option must be unchecked. If its checked, please uncheck it and update the settings.
This option "Use pending days as available" must be unchecked, as well.
If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).
Kind Regards.
I have used the basic free booking plugin and very happy. now want multiple booking forms, on different pages of one website BUT I need to be able to allow one client access to the booking form on their page. Can I do that if I upgrade to next level (single site.. personal)??
You can create the different booking resources (your properties or services - unique calendars) at the Booking > Resources page and then you be able to insert booking forms for each of your booking resources into the posts or pages. Please read more how to insert and configure the booking shortcode into the post or page here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/
3) I do not sure that clearly understood, what exactly you was mean by this "...allow one client access to the booking form on their page. ". Can you explain a more detail ?
Thank you.
I want to track a booking submit of a booking form without payment in Google Analytics.
I have added the following Javascript in the header
function gtag_report_conversion(url) {
var callback = function () {
if (typeof(url) != 'undefined') {
window.location = url;
}
};
gtag('event', 'conversion', {
'send_to': 'AW-##########/AA-aAA-a8AaAAAAA2a4A',
'transaction_id': 'reservation',
'event_callback': callback
});
return false;
}
Then in the form submit I have added this code
This doesn't trigger a transaction in Google Analytics though.
And I would like it to fire only when the form is actually submitted without errors.
Hi, do you have an idea of how I could integrate a checkbox in the form that would subscribe the person to my newsletter? I would like that it takes the name and email from what the person entered in the form and it subscribes them to the newsletter with that info.

Can I do that if I upgrade to next level (single site.. personal)??
Hello.
1) The ability to have independent calendars possible in any paid versions of Booking Calendar.
Check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#booking-resources
You can watch video overview about this feature here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/multiple-calendars-video-overview-of-booking-resources-in-booking-calendar/
Please read firstly the general instruction about usage of paid versions of Booking Calendar: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/general-usage-instruction/
2) In case if you need to have the different custom booking forms for the calendars (to have different form fields in the different custom booking forms), so then its possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#custom-forms
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/custom-booking-forms-video-overview/
3) I do not sure that clearly understood, what exactly you was mean by this "...allow one client access to the booking form on their page. ". Can you explain a more detail ?
Thank you.
I want to track a booking submit of a booking form without payment in Google Analytics.
I have added the following Javascript in the header
function gtag_report_conversion(url) {
var callback = function () {
if (typeof(url) != 'undefined') {
window.location = url;
}
};
gtag('event', 'conversion', {
'send_to': 'AW-##########/AA-aAA-a8AaAAAAA2a4A',
'transaction_id': 'reservation',
'event_callback': callback
});
return false;
}
