Hello,
I'd like to know how(where) to change the color of imported booked dates from an .ics file.
I would like to have them the same color as the booked dates on our site (calendar currently set to Premium-marine skin).
Thank you
Hello.
If you want to auto approve the bookings during import process, so you can activate this option at the Booking > Settings General page in Auto approval cancellation section.
Please note, it's will work only for the future imports. All old bookings, you need to approve manually at the Booking Listing page.
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-listing-video-tutorial/
Hi, scheduled bookings are not registered so it seems. I'm able to make a booking for a time that was approved and scheduled before. It looks like all my scheduled appointments have disappeared.
How can I fix this?
Hello.
Can you explain more detail about the issue?
What version of Booking Calendar do you use ?
Did you create the bookings at the front end side in the booking form at your website and do not see such bookings at the admin panel ?
Can you send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
Also did you checked the other filter options at the Filter toolbar at the Booking Listing page ? To see all bookings, instead of current and “exist” bookings. Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-listing-video-tutorial/
Kind Regards.
is it possible to avoid the confermation of reservation? The guest will already receive the confermation in his email after order. Thank you a lot for kind answer
Hello.
You can deactivate email confirmations at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.
Kind Regards.
How i can see the name of that person who has already booked?
Hello.
At the front end it is possible to show the booking details in mouse over tooltip in Timeline view in paid versions of Booking Calendar .
It’s the same view as in Calendar Overview page in Admin panel but in read only mode.
Please note it does not the inline month view calendar where you can select the date(s) for booking.
In timeline view it’s showing tooltip at the checking day of booking. Check it here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/timeline/
Also in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions you can activate this option "Show booking details in tooltip" at the Booking > Settings General page.
It will show booking details in usual inline month view calendar but only for the bookings that were made for specific time slots. It does not work for full booked dates.
Hello,
I am using the free version of Booking Calendar but I can't seem to get the form placed on the right side of the calendar.
I already have the option selected in the Settings - Formpage but somehow it still puts it under the calendar...
Am I forgetting something?
Hello.
It’s possible, if you have not enough space at your page.
Send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
Kind Regards.
Please do not forget to clear browser cache before testing these changes.
Thanks so much for your time! It works!
Hi There,
My intent is to use Booking Calendar as a way to schedule our internal installation services with our own installers, I don't plan to use it for the public to book their own installations. I therefore don't want the calendar to appear on the website but instead, have the installers click on a secure menu bar link called "Installer Login" for access to the calendar.
Is this possible to do using Booking Calendar?
Thanks
Hello.
You can insert the booking forms for specific booking resources into the password protected pages (it’s standard functionality of WordPress) and then inform password to those users.
I have checked every tutorial and FAQ and it just won't work. I insert the shortcode and it keeps telling me I didn't configure, or more recently just goes into an infinite loading screen.
Also, I cannot find anywhere whatsoever that indicates the link I would give to clients to make a booking.
Hello.
Please try to add the Booking Calendar shortcode manually to the “Elementor” shortcode block.
I want to have 2 separate calendars with different form fields for different services. Looks like these options are available in the medium version.
I also want to do the following:
1. disable confirmation on one service but enable confirmation on the second service. Is this possible?
2. Have separate emails generated to the visitor depending on which custom form they fill out. Is this possible?
I am currently using the free version and looking to upgrade to the appropriate version. This is for an internal organizational site, not a public site.
1-2) In case, if you need to have the different emails for the different booking resources so then you need to check the BookingCalendar MultiUser version.
In this version each activated regular user can have their own booking admin panel and can configure their own emails.
So here different emails relative to specific WP user, and each such user can have their own booking resources. Its means that different booking resources will have different emails.
In the Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Please check more here (at bottom of the page) https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/
Also each owner (user) will receive the emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them. Please note, that each owner WordPress user) will have different individual calendar(s) with booking forms in the separate pages. Please retest it in the live demo. You can read more about the initial configuration of the BookingCalendar MultiUser version: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/
I think I wasn't clear on my question on the different confirmation/approval for different services. It's one location with two different services that require different fields. The email generated should look different because it will have different fields. For example, one service is a request for maintenance at a particular time and day in 2-hour time slots. The maintenance service booking requires approval by an admin so they can schedule personnel. The second service is a reservation for the exercise room in 40-minute increments or time slots. The request for a time slot in the exercise room should not have to wait for an approval from an Admin. If the time slot for the exercise room is already taken, they just pick the next available. The Admin doesn't want to have to approve every booking of the exercise room. So two services, one needs approval by Admin and one does not require an intervention by the Admin. Thanks.
Hello.
Unfortunately it’s does not possible. Sorry.
Kind Regards.
I'm not clear on your answer. So you can have different time slots for different services, but you cannot have separate emails and all bookings need to be manually approved. Is this correct?
Hello.
Separate emails for the different booking resources does not possible. Sorry.
In the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions possible to activate the auto approval of all incoming new bookings for all booking resources. You can activate this feature at the Booking > Settings > Form page in Auto approval / cancelation section.
Kind Regards.
hello I update to wp 5.6 and now I can't see my calendar in any pages and I can't add any new booking! What's wrong??
Versione 9.Business.Small.SingleSite.8.4.3
Hello.
1) Please be sure to use the latest update of Booking Calendar 8.8
In case if you are using the paid version of Booking Calendar, then you can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
3) Otherwise most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl {+} Shift {+} J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.
You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.
If you still will have this issue, please send the link to the page with booking form, where you are having an issue, I will check it then.
Hello,
I have the same problem with Business.Large.SingleSite.7.2 after update wordpress to 5.6. Did you find any solution?
For better accessibility, how can I use the for attribute on form field labels?
The ID of a form field [text* name id:name] gets the resource id appended id="name1" or id="name5", so using for="name" does not work. And no, I cannot wrap the field with the label. Thanks.
Hello.
Currently it’s does not possible to configure this. Sorry.
We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin, but I can not say when exactly it’s will be implemented. Thank you for understanding.

There should be enough room when you look at how the time slots are placed...
Hello.
Please open this file https://test.blendomatic.com/wp-content/plugins/booking/css/wpbc_time-selector.css
( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )
then find this code:
.wpbc_times_selector { display: flex; flex-flow: row wrap; justify-content: flex-start; align-items: flex-start; white-space: nowrap; word-wrap: normal; width: 100%; }
and replace it to this code:
