Hello,
Thank you very much for this plugin I was waiting for!
I tried to handle this and I already have a suggestion or an issue.
In mail reminder template, i use the shortcode [dates] to display the days that customers have booked for one period.
However, dates are displayed in csv format in the mail (i.e. 2020-02-12 00:00:00 , 2020-02-14 00:00:00 , 2020-03-17 00:00:00). I would like to display these in the same way the Reservation list does. (without hours, and with name of the months).
Is it possible to check if either there is a way to do this or simply add this feature?
Thank you in advance
Hello.
Different dates format you can define at the Booking > Settings General page in Booking admin panel section.
Then instead of [dates] shortcode please use these: [check_in_only_date] - [check_out_only_date]
My clients are booking the days when I come to replace them in their Pharmacy. The fact is that check in and check out dates don't suit as my customers can book several separated days in the same week or month. I need to list each day booked in the reminder! Thank you
Hello.
Please activate the “multiple days selection mode” at the Booking > Settings General page in calendar section.
Kind Regards.
Hello,
I did! I guess I didn't explain my isssue clearly enough.
My customers already can book several separated days but for now I can't send a weekly (or monthly) reminder with their upcoming reservations...
I would like to display booked days in the reminder mail like this:
"...Your next reservations are:
12 March 2021
15 March 2021
17 March 2021
...."
I guess this could be a feature to add to the reminder plugin
We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin, but I can not say when exactly it’s will be implemented. Thank you for understanding.
Kind Regards.
Hi, We've got business large and I'm trying to get a drop down list of times to book, but I'm not succeeding. It went earlier when we had the small version. I use the code that starts with [select * rangetime multiple. Uses Modal (popup). Also wondering if it is possible to make the form more user-friendly for the mobile?
Kind regards
Hello.
In the Booking Calendar Business Large version possible to use the times in the same way as in the Booking Calendar Business Small version. But it’s will work only for the single booking resources (where capacity = 1).
Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.
Please watch more in this video: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-timeslots/
You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.
Kind Regards.
Hi there,
thanks for this great plugin.
I love how it works and looks, just having some issues in the live version for some reason.
When I'm logged in to WordPress, and testing the booking page, it's working fine, but once I open it in another browser it keeps hanging after sending the booking, and in console mode, I see this error message:
Cookie “wordpress_sec_5278d99a027b744c9a0d7d8f7bd9af16” has been rejected because it is already expired.
(cookie are enabled, it's been tested in Chrome and Firefox so far both in normal and incognito modes, getting this error).
Any idea why this might be happening?
Hello.
I do not sure that this error relative to the Booking Calendar plugin. It’s relative to the WordPress website itself. Because Booking Calendar does not use directly the cookies.
Kind Regards.
Hello,
I'm trying to get 4 different resources inserted into one calander.
We are running a Glamping site, and don't want the enduser to pick which tent (resource) to book.
Since we have 4 resources, we would like all 4 integrated into one calander, so that the enduser doesn't have to choose the resource.
We have the medium paid version, which we specifically bought for that feature.
But I can't seem to find out how to create it in such a way.
Neither a shortcode,
The ability to select and submit new booking possible only in usual inline month view calendar, which support only one booking resource.
Kind Regards.
Hi!
Im not able to program booking correct.
I have to have two kinds of bookings.
1. calendar
Book 28 days (one month) to a cost of 2900,- NOK
Start on any monday.
2. calendar
Book 2 hours or more.
Start feks. 08-10 + or more hours
Start feks. 09-11 + or more hours
and so on
I have the business medium version and it has been working great for me for well over a year now. Today however when I go to add a booking either on the front end side of the website or the admin side the calendar does not appear so I cant select the dates to book, neither can customers. I thought maybe it was my computer so tried on another computer and on my phone and the same issue is on all of them.
Any ideas what would cause this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Edd

Hello,
I have been using this plugin for 5 years in the small version , and I am very happy with it.
Last week i upgraded from version small to large versión, in order to have more capabilties. The migration was ok, and the large version plugin it's working fine for me. But there is one functionality that worked in small version and its not working in the large one.
It is about sending emails to the admin when a book is done. In small version I was able to use a shortcode in order to send de admin email, to a "supervisor selected by the user", like this:
admin email,
send to: admin_email@xxxxx.es ; [supervisor_mail]
that made to send the admin email, to 2 persons, one the admin and an extra person trough shortcode.
Now I realiced that, in version large, Its no posible to use a shortcode on the "destination/to" filed.
Is there anyway to solve this?
Thanks in advance.
Luis
Hello.
You can define the comma separated emails in the field "to" or if you have activated sending copy of emails in these fields at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.
I now, but using shortcodes in the fiel "to" that was working on my old small version, it not working in the large one anymore. It is possible to have the option to send a copy in the "new (for admin)" email?
Hello.
Actual the Booking Calendar Business Small version and Booking Calendar Business Large version in this functionality is working in the same way.
You can define in the field “to” several comma separated emails.
Kind Regards.
Hello Again,
I'm keep trying to solve my issue, about using shortcodes inside the "TO" field in the "New Booking to Admin" email form.
It was working in my previous version, and not with the new one. I understand that it's not an usual use, but been able to use shortcodes on that field was perfect for us.
Note that, shortcodes are working ok in "subject" and "content" fields, but not in the "to" field.
Is there anyway to activate again the shortcodes on that field.
Thanks in advance.
Luis

I've confirmed the booking form as needed. However, when I display the form on my website, I can't type in the input fields - that is name, email, etc. Also, the drop down box that I created for time slots is blank. The details form is not even big enough to type in.

Hi, I'm new to wordpress and this calendar. I will be moving to a new domain name soon. If I purchase the upgrade, will I be able to transfer it over to the new domain name, along with the website? I'm confident that I will be able to, but want to make sure. Thank you, Wendy
Hello.
If you just change the domain name (without changing the server), so then you just need to change website url addresses at the WordPress Settings General page. Usually it’s enough.
Relative update from lower to higher version of Booking Calendar Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/
But in case if you need to change the sever also.
Here is general info about migrate process (in case if you will not make fully identical transfer).
1) You need to inform us about old and new url of websites for your Booking Calendar version.
2) You need to transfer the Booking Calendar files from the ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder} of old website to new website.
According transfer of the Booking Calendar Data.
3) Please backup and restore to the new site the DB tables that is starting from the "wp_booking" term, for example using the phpMyAdmin tool.

It’s only possible to show such 4 booking resources in Timeline view, like here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/timeline/

Hello.
1) If you need to have one calendar for days booking and other calendar for hours booking, so then it’s means that you need to have 2 separate booking forms.
It’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#custom-forms
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/custom-booking-forms-video-overview/
2) It’s possible to set as unavailable specific days during specific seasons or weekdays in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#availability
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-season-availability/

Hello.
You can define the comma separated emails in the field "to" or if you have activated sending copy of emails in these fields at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.
For example:
email1@server.com;othet-email@gmail.com

Please watch this video guide about this export: https://youtu.be/4425kRMaFso
4) Also you will be need to backup and restore some records from the wp_options table, where option_name fields are starting from the "booking_" term.
Please watch this video guide about this export: https://youtu.be/EZ4jxJDlTFs
Helpful tip from video guide. In the old database you need to execute this SQL in your phpMyAdmin tool.
SELECT * FROM `wp_options` WHERE `option_name` LIKE 'booking%'
After this you can export SQL file for importing in your new database.
5) You can make such migrate from one to other website only once. And of course you need to delete the Booking Calendar version at old website.
Kind Regards.
