  1. Hi, I am posting this as I'm extremely worried about my subscription. I bought the Booking Calendar Business Large (multi site usage) version. This was a massive expense for me. I know that I have 5 websites that I can use. I assumed that you could transfer the plugin provided that you were using only 5 at a time. I am very new to web design, and not receiving any support and I'm just playing trial and error. I have been migrating my websites around from one host to another and had 4 different websites with 4 different domains, but then realised that I could have more than one website using subdomains. So I have been migrating websites assuming that the booking site would just be added. On top of that I created a website with a subdomain using multi-sites and had to delete it and start again as I was having trouble uploading my images, so the host recommended I get a professional designer, which I couldn't afford. Now I can't upload any more bookings. This booking pro plugin is a massive expense for me. I am doing it myself as I can't afford a web designer. Can you please assure me that I will be able to upload more of these plugins. I'm so upset right now. I used to be able to access an account to find out how many I had. I can't see it anymore?? Please help. Thank you

      The reason why you can not upload / install plugin not from our side.
      It’s seems that you have some error during uploading or activation of the plugin.
      Please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

      • I don't know why but I uploaded this again and it worked!! I was in a bit of a panic!! I received an email saying that there had been errors, so I'm not sure why. Thank you for responding. Cheers for a great calendar ! I hope I can manage to take advantage of all the features.

  2. How can I never send email?

    I only make bookings through the back end. I always have to uncheck both email options, the one at the top right and the one at the bottom left. How can I permanently disable tose options so they are never checked by default?

      Please open the Booking > Settings General page and in Booking admin panel section deactivate this option “ Deactivate send email option at Add Booking page” and this option “ Deactivate send email option at Booking Listing page”

            Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/css/client.css

            ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

            then add this code to the bottom of this file:

            div#datepick-div , div#datepick-div .datepick-header{ width: 242px !important; }

            Please do not forget to clear browser cache before testing these changes.

            Please note, it's seems that you are using some cache plugin, that minimize all CSS files into one file, so you need to regenerate this file, or deactivate that minimize plugin.

  4. Can you please point me to the instructions that show me how to have a one night premium rate eg $175 per single night only but a standard rate for 2 eg if you book 2 nights the rate is $145 or the nights it is $145 x 3
    Basically a cleaning/changeover fee of $30 extra for a one night stay .

      It seems that you are using the old version of Booking Calendar and you have updated to the latest update of WordPress.
      Because of that you are having this issue. Please be sure to use the latest update of Booking Calendar 8.8
      It has to resolve the issue of not showing the calendar at the latest update of WordPress.
      In case if you are using the paid version of Booking Calendar, then you can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/

    I have just noticed that my booking calendar has disappeared from the front end for some reason link here: puffincampers.co.uk/check-availability/

    Cant remember when this occurred but i have the latest version of WordPress but i haven't updated the plugin ever to be honest as its always worked.

    Any ideas.

      Because of that you are having this issue. Please be sure to use the latest update of Booking Calendar 8.8
      It has to resolve the issue of not showing the calendar at the latest update of WordPress.

      • Thanks for the quick reply really appreciate it, i have reverted back to the older version of WP to get it working.
        I would like an update for the new version but cant find my order number, it was over a year ago at least when i purchased the Version: Personal SingleSite 7.0. I have the issue on 2 websites actually.

        Can i still complete the update request form without my order number?

    I am receiving the following message when trying to book more than 1 day (multiple days is the chosen option in the settings). Everything is up to date (WordPress 5.6, booking calendar 8.8). Already tried the solutions from the FAQ, unfortunately, it didn't help. Could you offer me some assistance, please?

      You need to check this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/duplicate-entry-key/

      Otherwise try to delete the booking with ID = 19 and recheck your settings at the Booking > Settings General page (relative check in/out times) and then check your Times fields (if you are using it) at the Booking > Settings > Form page.

  10. Hello, using free version of booking calendar.
    People making a reservation on the website get the following message:
    email could not be sent SMTP error couyld not authenticate.
    The booking comes through on our calendar in the backoffice but we do not receive confirmation emails, nor does the visitor.

    A secondary problem is that in the backoffice we get the list with reservations in bookings list but on the calendar viewer the bookings are mentioned a day and hour off (example a booking on the 7th of january at 1 pm is shown on the calendar on the 8th of january at 12 am).

    Can you help me solve these issues, especially the reservation email problem?

    • Hello.
      1) Please note, Booking Calendar uses standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.

      Please check this troubleshooting instruction https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/no-emails/

      Most probably you need to check point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is 'sending emails via php' option and it can resolve that issue.

      In case if you already using some SMTP plugin, then please contact support of this plugin to resolve such issue.

      2) Please open the Booking > Settings General page and deactivate this option "Use localized time format" at the Booking admin panel section.
