  1. We currently use Version 9.Business.Medium.SingleSite.8.4.3 and in the last few weeks or so the calendar itself has suddenly disappeared from the page it was showing on.

We can still see the key for for Available, Booked, Pending and Changeover day however the space where the calendar used to show is now blank.

We have tried to run an update on the plugin via the plugins page but it says failed every time.
We rely heavily on this plugin for customers to make bookings and are currently loosing out on bookings whilst the plugin isn't working as should.

  3. Hey,
I am using this plugin for more than one type of reservation, so I need to send two different types of emails with different content on reservation. Is it possible to manage this in the functions by form ID or is there a licence, which can do this feature?

    Thank you,
I'm looking forward hearing from you.

    • Hello.

In case,  if you need to have the different emails for the different booking resources so then  you need to  check  the  BookingCalendar MultiUser version.
In this version each activated regular user can have their own booking admin panel and can configure their own emails.
So here different emails relative to  specific WP user,  and each  such  user  can have their own booking resources. Its means that  different booking resources will have different emails.

Selections of booking resources can look  like here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/select-resource/

Here is more info about this version.

In the Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Please check more here (at bottom of the page) https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/

Also each owner (user) will receive the emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them. Please note, that each owner WordPress user) will have different individual calendar(s) with booking forms in the separate pages. Please retest it in the live demo. You can read more about the initial configuration of the BookingCalendar MultiUser version: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/

Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/multiuser-video-overview/

Please test the live demo of BookingCalendar Multiuser version here: https://multiuser.wpbookingcalendar.com/
Admin Panel of Multiuser version (here you can test several admin panels functionality): https://multiuser.wpbookingcalendar.com/admin-panel/

  4. Hello,
    thank you for great plugin!

I have this issue - Since I am using Muffin builder inside the WordPress, which doesn't allow to use shortcodes, I've inserted Booking calendar shortcode using Elementor builder and move it by css under the content created in Muffin builder.

I don't know, if it is connected or not, but the problem is, some fields of calendar seems to have another background (or no background?) and behave in wierd way. Please check the video preview: https://youtu.be/Vq2HwN9r2nw

I would be greatful for your help
    Best Regards
    Martin

    • Hello.

( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

          then find this code:

          /* Table */ .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) th{background:none} .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:first-child td{background:none} .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) th,.style-simple table td{border-width:0 1px 1px 0} .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr td:last-child,.style-simple table tr th:last-child{border-right:0} .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:last-child td{border-bottom:0} .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:nth-child(2n) td{background:none}

and replace it to this code:

          /* Table */ /* .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) th{background:none} .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:first-child td{background:none} .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) th,.style-simple table td{border-width:0 1px 1px 0} .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr td:last-child,.style-simple table tr th:last-child{border-right:0} .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:last-child td{border-bottom:0} .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:nth-child(2n) td{background:none} */

          2) Also it's seems that you are using some cache plugin. Because I can see in source code of the page this:
          Cached by WP-Optimize (gzip)...

Please recheck for any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

          Kind Regards.

Currently using this shortcode, but only booking shows up, not booking + calendar.

    [booking nummonths=2 options='{calendar months_num_in_row=2 width=1100px cell_height=50px}']

    • Hello.
Send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.

  9. Hello,

I have followed the steps on "How to to customize booking form for having several steps of reservation process" using an exact copy of Example #3.
Unfortunately the form validation is not working with this example.
For example if I fill that form leaving the e-mail field empty, then submit, the form hangs and the waiting circle keeps rotating. However, when I check the database, I do see that the booking has been saved.
Aslo tested with other required fields leaving them empty givest the same issue.

In the developer tools I can see the following JQuery error:

client.js?ver=8.8:1196 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'top' of undefined
    at makeScroll (client.js?ver=8.8:1196)
    at showMessageUnderElement (client.js?ver=8.8:1128)

    at s.fn.init.html (jquery.min.js?ver=3.5.1:2)
    at Object.success (client.js?ver=8.8:1014)

Please advice how to fix this.

    • Hello.
Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason of this issue.

      • Hello,

I deactivated all plugins and tested again. The form actually does submit but the validation does not work on previous steps. Only form elements that are visible on the last step is validated (checkbox for I Accept term and conditions)
I am not yet able to activate default WordPress theme since we cannot determine a mainenance window for the live site.
However I did try the following:
All the jQuery(".wpbc_steps" ).hide(); I changed to jQuery(".wpbc_steps" ).hide();. So all the elements and DIVs are visible. After testing this, the form validation works perfect for all elements. So it seems the problem is that the validation is not working when the elements are hidden.

Do you have an idea how to fix this? or maybe it is posible to add additional code in the sumbit (jQuery( ".booking_form_div input[type='button']" ).on( "click", function()) so that is forces validation on each element even when hidden?

        • Hello.
Please try to use this code for haveing several steps in the booking form:
          <div class="wpbc_wizard_step wpbc_wizard_step1"> [calendar] <a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="javascript:wpbc_wizard_step(this ,2);" class="btn" rel="nofollow ugc">Continue to step 2</a> </div> <div class="wpbc_wizard_step wpbc_wizard_step2" style="display:none;clear:both;"> <p>First Name (required):<br />[text* name] </p> <p>Last Name (required):<br />[text* secondname] </p> <p>Email (required):<br />[email* email] </p> <p>Phone:<br />[text phone] </p> <p>Adults: [select visitors class:col-md-1 "1" "2" "3" "4"] Children: [select children class:col-md-1 "0" "1" "2" "3"]</p> <p>Details:<br /> [textarea details] </p> <p>[checkbox* term_and_condition use_label_element "I Accept term and conditions"] </p> <p>[captcha]</p> <hr/> <div style="text-align:right;">[submit class:btn "Send"] <a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="javascript:wpbc_wizard_step(this, 1);" class="btn" rel="nofollow ugc">Back to step 1</a></div> </div>

You can reset this form, by selecting the "Wizard (several steps)" form template in toolbar at the Booking > Settings > Form page and then clicking on "Both" button.
          Kind Regards.

          • Hello,

Thank you very much for this solution. The validation in the code you provided is working fine.
However I have a question about the behavior when moving between steps.
My expectation (or better said: desired form navigation behavior), is that when you go to next step, the current visible elements are validated, and when you go back, no validation is needed.
The sample as you sent is working like that, but as soon as I add another step, something strange happens.
            Your 2-step example:
1 Continue to step 2 --> screen 1 is validated and will show error when required fields are empty.(this is okay)
2 Back to step 1 --> screen 2 is not validated (this is okay since it is normal that user wants to review the previous step without having to complete the current step yet)

But when I add another step (total 3 steps) I see the following:
1 Continue to step 2 --> screen 1 is validated and will show error when required fields are empty. (this is okay)
2 Back to step 1 --> screen 2 is not validated (this is okay)
2 Continue to step 3 --> screen 2 is validated and will show error when required fields are empty.(this is okay)
3 Back to step 2 --> screen 3 is validated and shows errors for required fields (This is not what I would expects. It would be nice if also here you can go backwards without getting validation errors as you just wan to review your entries)
3 Back to step 1 --> screen 3 is not validated (this is okay)

Please see the code sample as I adjusted. Do you also see the same? Could you please advice how to omit validation when going backwards and only having the validation when going forward at each step?

            My code:

            [calendar]
            Continue to step 2

            First Name (required):[text* name]
            Last Name (required):[text* secondname]

            Continue to step 3

            Back to step 1

            Email (required):[email* email]
            Phone:[text phone]
            Adults: [select visitors class:col-md-1 "1" "2" "3" "4"] Children: [select children class:col-md-1 "0" "1" "2" "3"]
            Details: [textarea details]
[checkbox* term_and_condition use_label_element "I Accept term and conditions"]
            [captcha]

            [submit class:btn "Send"]
            Back to step 2
            Back to step 1

            Kind regards.

            • Hello.
Please open this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}/js/client.js

( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

              then find this code:

              function wpbc_wizard_step( el, step_num ){ var br_id = jQuery( el ).closest( 'form' ).find( 'input[name^="bk_type"]' ).val(); if ( 1 != step_num ){ //FixIn: 8.7.7.8 var is_error = wpbc_check_errors_in_booking_form( br_id ); if ( is_error ){ return false; } }

and replace it to this code:

              function wpbc_wizard_step( el, step_num, step_from ){ var br_id = jQuery( el ).closest( 'form' ).find( 'input[name^="bk_type"]' ).val(); //FixIn: 8.8.1.5 if ( ( undefined == step_from ) || ( step_num > step_from ) ){ if ( 1 != step_num ){ //FixIn: 8.7.7.8 var is_error = wpbc_check_errors_in_booking_form( br_id ); if ( is_error ){ return false; } } }

              2) In your booking form configuration for your steps use these configuration
              wpbc_wizard_step(this, 2, 3);
where 2 it's "step number" where you will go,
and 3 it's "step number" from where you will go (current active step).

              Kind Regards.

  10. Hello,

I have WP Booking calendar working on my website, it is also synchronized with airbnb.

Is it possible to put the imported reservation from airbnb on status "booked/reserved" automatically ?

I also have an issue with the import, there is often one day book before or after a reservation imported from airbnb. When i look airbnb side it tells me it come from my website, and on my website it says it come from airbnb.
I disabled the option " add an outing day" but i'm not sure if it's the reason.

I have a cron task importing airbnb ics every hours, maybe it's related to that,

    thank you

    • Hello.
      1) It’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions.
Activate this option “auto approve bookings during import” at the Booking > Settings General page in Auto approval / cancelation section.

      2) It was because of this option “ add an outing day”

      Kind Regards.
