Hi there,
I am just getting started with this plugin.
Is it possible to have a 2 column setup with the calendar in the first column and the form in the second column?
If not, can I make the form as wide as the 2 months calendar?
Thank you and best regards,
Martine Goldenbeld

I am going to redesign a new client's site on a staging server. The client is using an old version of your plugin on his live site. How can I move his booking data back and forth between the staging and live site when I migrate the new design? I don't want him to lose his current bookings.
Hello.
Here is general info about migrate process (in case if you will not make fully identical transfer).
1) You need to inform us about old and new url of websites for your Booking Calendar version.
2) You need to transfer the Booking Calendar files from the ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder} of old website to new website.
According transfer of the Booking Calendar Data.
3) Please backup and restore to the new site the DB tables that is starting from the "wp_booking" term, for example using the phpMyAdmin tool.
Helpful tip from video guide. In the old database you need to execute this SQL in your phpMyAdmin tool.
SELECT * FROM `wp_options` WHERE `option_name` LIKE 'booking%'
After this you can export SQL file for importing in your new database.
5) You can make such migrate from one to other website only once. And of course you need to delete the Booking Calendar version at old website.
How would I change the size of the widget in my WordPress website?
Thanks a lot!
Hello.
Send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
Hello,
A customer of ours would like to purchase the premium version of your plugin, but first he asked me a few questions about the features of the premium package:
-Being able to view on the calendar the name of those who have an approved reservation in a specific time slot (and not just the time);
-To be able to view on the calendar the name and range of those who have a pending reservation (therefore awaiting approval);
-To be able to view other fields as "meeting object" on the calendar (for events already booked or pending);
-Being able to enter more than one calendar on the site (it seems to me that this has already been confirmed by the assistance and that it is included in the paid version);
-Understand if the legend below the calendar (available, booked, pending) is valid only for the whole day and not for individual time slots;
-If it is possible to choose the booking time slots in another way (and not only with text "strings" predetermined by the back office) or if it is possible to make a reservation, for example with the time slot 10:00 - 12:00, indicate in the note the exact time (for example 09:30 - 12:00) and be able to change this on the calendar once the back office approves;
-Possibility to view the calendar as well as by month also by single day with possible details of the available / booked / pending time bands;
-Understand if the various plans proposed are a one-off cost or an annual / periodic fee;
Thank you,
Lisa
Hello.
-Being able to view on the calendar the name of those who have an approved reservation in a specific time slot (and not just the time);
-To be able to view on the calendar the name and range of those who have a pending reservation (therefore awaiting approval);
At front end side possible to show the booking details in mouse over tooltip in Timeline view in paid versions of Booking Calendar .
It’s the same view as in Calendar Overview page in Admin panel but in read only mode.
Please note it does not the inline month view calendar where you can select the date(s) for booking.
In timeline view it’s showing tooltip at the checking day of booking. Check it here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/timeline/
Also in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions you can activate this option "Show booking details in tooltip" at the Booking > Settings General page.
It will show booking details in usual inline month view calendar but only for the bookings that were made for specific time slots.
But it does not possible to show the name of administrator who approved the booking or canceled the booking.
-To be able to view other fields as "meeting object" on the calendar (for events already booked or pending);
It's does not possible.
-Being able to enter more than one calendar on the site (it seems to me that this has already been confirmed by the assistance and that it is included in the paid version);
You can create the different booking resources (your properties or services - unique calendars) at the Booking > Resources page and then you be able to insert booking forms for each of your booking resources into the posts or pages. Please read more how to insert and configure the booking shortcode into the post or page here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/
-Understand if the legend below the calendar (available, booked, pending) is valid only for the whole day and not for individual time slots;
Yes, it's correct. You can deactivate some legend items at the Form section of Booking > Settings General page.
Test it here https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/
-If it is possible to choose the booking time slots in another way (and not only with text "strings" predetermined by the back office) or if it is possible to make a reservation, for example with the time slot 10:00 - 12:00, indicate in the note the exact time (for example 09:30 - 12:00) and be able to change this on the calendar once the back office approves;
The ability to book for the specific times possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small / Business Medium versions (and in higher versions for booking resources with capacity =1).
In lower versions of Booking Calendar (including free version), possible to make bookings for specific times only for specific restricted time-slots.
Please note if you will make the booking for the specific timeslot, this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors for that selected date in current specific calendar.
You can configure the timeslots selections on the Booking > Settings > Form page. Please use the "shortcode generator" on the right side of that page for the correct generation of the shortcode.
You can use one"timerange" (timeslots) or "start time" and"end time" selections or"starttime" and "duration"of time selections shortcodes or even start time and end time entering shortcodes. Please read more about the booking form fields configuration here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields/
You can test the bookings for the specific time-slots in action on the live demo of Business Small version (which is configured by default for the bookings of specific time-slots) here: https://bs.wpbookingcalendar.com/ Other live demo you will need to reconfigure.
-Possibility to view the calendar as well as by month also by single day with possible details of the available / booked / pending time bands;
It's does not possible.
-Understand if the various plans proposed are a one-off cost or an annual / periodic fee;
Hello there,
We have a serious problem with one of our client that uses Booking Calendar with a payment method through Stripe v3.
When a user makes a reservation and proceeds to payment via Stripe, in the next window that opens (Stripe payment form), if the user changes his mind and press Back, the booking AND the payment is showing as a succesful booking/payment!
We've already setted up the pages for /edit-booking/ & /customer-bookings/ that are required for Stripe.

PHP: 7.4.16 (Supports 64bit values)
Booking Calendar: 8.5.1 - Business Large SingleSite

Please update your version of Booking Calendar to the latest update 8.8.1
You can request the new update of Booking Calendar on this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/request-update/
Hello,
Is is possible to translate fields in the booking confirmation mail from English into Dutch?
Now, when a customer receives a confirmation of his/her booking, the months are mentioned in English:
14 June 2021 15:00 - 18 June 2021 10:00
I cannot find this in the FAQ
Hello.
You need to activate this option “ Use localized time format”, at the Booking > Settings General page in Booking Admin panel section. This option useful only, if you have issue with translation of time format. If you activated this option, at some servers possible issue with "Daylight Saving Time" - booked times can be later on 1 hour.
We have added bookings, they have been confirmed but the dates are showing as available on the website, when there is no availability.
Hello.
If you do not see the booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the “Advanced section”, please be sure that you have not activated this option: “Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s):”. This option must be unchecked. If its checked, please uncheck it and update the settings.
Also this option “Use pending days as available” must be unchecked, as well. It’s located at the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section.
If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like “WP Super Cache” or “W3 Total Cache”. If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).
Hi I am having the same problem.
I am using the business medium version 8.8.1 (just updated to see if it fixed it), I have the boxes unchecked as you mentioned in this post and have no super cache or w3 total cache enabled.
I will add that the exporting of the ics to external sites is still working and the booking show up on the admin page, just not on the live website. This problem just started today.
Any other suggestions on what could be causing this?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Edd
Hello.
Probably, its because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If its not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
We just need to find the reason of this issue.
Tried to deactivate all of the plugins same issue.
Previewed a new theme and the dates showed up correctly on that, so I went back to the other theme and they showed correctly but on the live site I was still encountering the same problem.
So its still not working correctly.
Something that might be helpfull to others, I have ticked the option "Checking to prevent double booking, during submitting booking" and tried to book on the front end, this time it came up these dates are booked please reload the page. It still shows the dates available but it atleast prevents duplicate bookings while this gets fixed.
Any other thoughts on what could cause this?
Hello.
It’s seems that cache system at your server. You need to contact support of your hosting and ask them to deactivate it or add exception to the pages with booking forms.
Kind Regards.
Hi again,
So sorry if this is a duplicate the original reply did not show up but I want to add a bit.
I have deactived each plugin and still the same problem. I also tested different themes and it shows up in the preview editor correctly but not on the front end side.
A tip for other people with this problem, I ticked the option "Checking to prevent double booking, during submitting booking" and that prevents people booking the same dates on the front end (i tested it) not a fix but until this problem is resolved it prevents a lot of head ache.
Any other suggestions what could cause this? has to be something to do with the wordpress update as it was working for me yesterday fine.
How can I change style (size, color) of „Send” Button in booking form?
What file is responsible for It?
Thanks
Mic
Hello.
Please try to add CSS similar to this to the end of this file ../../{Booking Calendar Folder}/css/client.css
( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ ) ~
.wpdevelop .btn-default, .wpdevelop .btn-default:hover, .wpdevelop .btn-default:focus {
color: #fff;
text-shadow: none;
background: #333;
}
Please do not forget to clear browser cache before testing these changes.
Hi,
I do not understand the calendar markings. One busy date has a red background and the number is grey, another has a light background and the number is red.
Same for pending, orange.
Please help me!

Hello.
Please open the Booking > Settings General page and in the "Form" section, uncheck this option " Show date number in legend".
That number it's "Today" date number.
Hello,
On the search page, the results won't show. It keeps loading and then nothing happens. The searchtool did work before. I already cleared the searchcache, but this did not make any difference. https://ibb.co/7XkZxLw
We are using business large and WordPress 5.7.1.
Could you please help solving this issue?
If you do not see any found pages with booking forms at the Booking > Settings > Search page, after clicking on “clear search cache” button, then
be sure that you have inserted the shortcode for booking form ( like [booking type=3]) into CONTENT of the posts or pages and not to the sidebars or other sections.
You need to reinsert the booking form of that booking resource into the different page, and then open the Booking > Settings > Search page and then click on the Clear search cache button.
In the last couple of months it always had worked, but today suddenly it stops working.
The search forms are inserted correctly and in the settings everything is correct.
Yesterday the search tool worked fine, and now today it suddenly don't. I did not do anything in the settings or what so ever.
It just keeps loading and loading, and nothing happens then.
Hello.
1) Do you see the found pages with booking forms at the Booking > Settings > Search page ?
2) If yes, then Please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.
3) Otherwise Its most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl {+} Shift {+} J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.
You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.
If you still will have this issue, please send the link to the page with booking form, where you are having an issue, I will check it then.
I have contacted the hosting company, they could not find anything in the error.log or javascript errors. They have downgraded WordPress to the previous version of WordPress and this has solved the issue. Might be helpfull if you run into this issue with other users.
