  1. Hello,

    I'm searching for the right link for my visitors to safe the date in their preferred calender app.
    So if they got an email with their booking, that they directly have the opportunity to safe the date. I was looking everywhere but cannot find an answer. So is there an option like this, or is there a possibility to integrade it. I think it is a very important feature.

      The ability to use [add_to_google_cal_url] shortcode in the "New visitor email" template at the Booking > Settings > Emails page, for adding event to own Google Calendar will be possible in next update of Booking Calendar.

      Currently this shortcode available only for the "New admin email" template.

  2. Hello,

    I bought the Booking calender business small version. Now I have implemented on my website, the days booked in the calendar are shown with the colour yellow while the legend shows colour red for booked and partially booked days. How can I change this? It is much more clear when legend and calendar colours are the same. Thank you!

    • Hello.
      Yellow color is about the pending bookings and red color is about the approved bookings.
      Partially booked dates marked with click icons.
      You can activate to show the partially booked dates with the same background color as available dates. You can activate it at the Booking > Settings General page in timeslots section.

  3. Hello,

    I would need you to help me use the plugin for my website.
    There should be a search engine for the reservations available (several properties) on the home page of the site, that the calendars are synchronized with rb & b. I can have 40 rental units ready, is it possible to help me?

      1) The search availability possible in the Booking Calendar Business Large or higher version.
      Its possible to search availability only for full available dates (and not the timeslots).

      2) Booking Calendar plugin is supporting

      - import of events via .ics feeds from Google Calendar ( or Airbnb or any other calendar that support .ics format, like iCal application)

      - and export bookings to .ics feeds (files), which possible to import in Google Calendar (or Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, TripAdvisor, VRBO, FlipKey and any other calendar that uses .ics format ).

      Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically access this page with booking import shortcode to start import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly system will start import process and only then show booking form, when someone visit your page.

      Booking Calendar is generate .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some service (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into own system, does not depend from Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force to generate import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed tor making import.

  4. I bought Booking Calendar Business Large (1 site usage) on May 30 2021. I did not receive the email with my order number. I have gotten the download through an update email, but I cannot register it without the order number.

    How do I get the order number?

    we arte using the free version of booking calendar.
    We do not receive anymore emails when reservations are made, nor does the client.
    The reservation is made though.
    When using the booking calendar on our website one gets the following message: smtp error could not authenticate.
    I have checked the troubleshooting page and the topic about receiving emails.
    It does not provide a solution to this problem.
    Could you help me out?

      In case, if you gave installed some SMTP plugin relative to this FAQ instruction

      And you are having that SMTP error, it's means that something was configured incorrectly in the SMTP mail plugin.
      Please recheck with support of that SMTP plugin about correct configuration of the SMTP plugin.

  6. I have a problem of email, when clicked on send button, it just goes in waiting mode, I have configured everything in email setting as required like dns email etc. in each email format, it actually works when I try sending with WP logged in, but not works when logged out as a normal customer. The things were working fine before some days and this is happening suddenely. Please help.

    • Hello.
      Please note, Booking Calendar uses standard WordPress wp_mail function for sending emails. This function can be overridden by other plugins.

      Most probably you need to check point #5 from this instruction and install WP Mail SMTP plugin which is 'sending emails via php' option and it can resolve that issue.

  7. HI
    On this website there is an error message when you fill in the booking form.
    After deactivating soms plugins it works again.
    Then after activating it still is working but the next day the problem is back.

    I use the newest wordpress version and bookingsystem Versie: 8.8.1
    booking manager Versie: 2.0.18 (which is now deactivated) that plugin caused the problem yesterday.... but obviously there are more problems...
    I am trying to fix this now for some weeks but don't get it right.
    The theme is Ultra from Themify.me
    I also downloaded a logfile as I read somewhere in the achive messages...
    I can send it but not upload it here....

    Hope you can help me with this.

      It’s seems like some cache issue. Please recheck for any cache plugins, like “WP Super Cache”, “WP Fastest Cache” or “W3 Total Cache”. If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

    Je viens d'installer la version gratuite avant d'acheter la version premium, j'ai effectué tous les tests réservation, sur mon pc et téléphone portable tout est ok, par contre impossible de faire une réservation sur une tablette IPAD ou IPHONE les réservations ne sont pas avec Apple.
    Que faire ?

    • Hello.
      Probably it's because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
      We just need to find the reason for this issue.

  10. already use the free version any i have everything configured correctly but when i approve the reservation the calendary of mi website not refresh, never im waiting for hours and never see the acepted dates. only i can see the first test i had made but not the otrher ones.

    whats wrong. im still thinking that the free version only support 1 event only

    • Hello.
      If you do not see the booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the "Advanced section", please be sure that you have not activated this option: "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s)". This option must be unchecked. If its checked, please uncheck it and update the settings.
      This option "Use pending days as available" must be unchecked, as well.

      If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).
