  1. Hello good morning, I am programming a business directory with the listify theme, I have been studying the "multi-user reservation calendar" plugin for a few days but I still have some doubts
    My first question is whether my listing client eg a hotel, a restaurant, a hairdresser, etc. How to configure your product with its images and description, I can't find the document and I can't find it in the live demonstrations of how to do it.
    My second question is the following, the platform that I am creating available from different types of reservation, room in a hotel, table in a restaurant, appointment for a mechanical workshop, appointment in a hairdressing salon, my question is the following, is there a filter Where the web visitor can select the type of service they are looking for so that only the selected listings appear? Ex. If you are looking for a hotel, only the results of the hotels appear, if you are looking for a restaurant, only the results of the restaurants, etc.

    I have the resource set up so that I have a "whole boarding house" and under it individual rooms and apartments, how do I do that if someone reserves the whole boarding house so that other rooms and apartments are also blocked?

      Yes, it’s possible to make such configuration with aggregate parameter. Please check more here

      I will explain it in example of booking separately rooms and entire house. Please note, all such separate properties will be have the separate booking forms with calendars at front-end side of your website. Its means that you can book entire house, or specific room at separate booking form.

      So in case if you want to show as unavailable some dates or times in all calendars (booking resources) if some booking was made in only one calendar (booking resources), so then it’s possible to configure it with “aggregate” parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode ( its possible in all paid versions of Booking Calendar).

      This parameter make the dates in calendar unavailable if these dates was booked in some other booking resources.

      Example of your configuration :

      Booking resources at the Booking > Resources page:

      - House ( ID = 3 )
      - Room #1 ( ID = 4 )
      - Room #2 ( ID = 5 )

      And you need to insert the Booking Calendar shortcodes like this

      House
      [booking type=3 aggregate='4;5' ]

      - Room #1 ( ID = 4 )
      [booking type=4 aggregate='3' ]

      - Room #2 ( ID = 5 )
      [booking type=5 aggregate='3' ]
      ....

      If some Room will be booked for specific date(s), this dates will be unavailable in House calendar.
      And if House will be booked for specific date(s), so in all Room s (booking forms), these dates also will be unavailable.

      Using aggregate parameter possible in all paid versions.

      But because you will be need to have the different form fields for the different buses (booking resources) - times selection are different for the different booking resources, so then its possible to customize the different custom forms in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.   3. Hi, I use multiuser version.
    I use "Ait Theme Club" theme with ait-language plugin for multilanguage. I have not any problem with all other plugins I use, but Booking Calendar is in English language and not in italian!
    To see Booking Calendar in italian, I must disable ait-language plugins.
    Ait-language plugin is based on Polylan plugin.
    Could you give me any solution to force Booking Calendar to use IT language?

      You need to be sure that Ait language plugin was set correct locale for the Italian language.
      Currently Booking Calendar support it_IT locale for the Italian language.

      • Yes, it is set to italian language, I use many plugins without language problem.
        Booking Calendar switch to italian language only if I disable ait-language (the entire theme switch in english, only Booking Calendar is in italian)

          Please check my suggestion in my previous comment.
          Otherwise if that plugin based on polylang plugin, so then some improvements will be in a next update of plugin relative compatibility with that plugin so it’s can fix that issue.

            Yes of course, ait-language was set correct locale for the Italian language, there is only italian language.
            There some thing wrong with Polylang compatibility, all plugins work well, only BC is in english with ait-language enabled.
            There is a strange issue, when I'm logged in with wp user, in the admin top bar on frontend, I see "Calendario Prenotazioni", but when I go on the backend I see "Booking Calendar".
            So I wait for the next release, my workaround now is to put every .mo file in the wp-content/languages/plugins folder.

  4. Hi,
    We are using check-in/checkout time option for our booking, so our calendars are showing the booking made through our website as triangle (so half day is still bookable).
    The problem is that all booking imported from other sources are showing as taking "full day" when they should actually be the same as other booking, thus not showing the little triangle/half days, which is very confusing for us and for our clients.
    Is there any way to apply automatically the check in/check out time set up in the parameter to imported booking, or at least to apply the little triangle display to imported booking ?

    • Hello.
      Please open the Booking > Settings > Sync > “General” page and set checked this option “ Use check in/out time”.

      It’s will work only for the new imports.

    Is it possible to set different fixed number of days for different calendars? I have some resources that can only be booked for 3 days and some that need to be booked for a week.

  6. Hello, I wanted to know how would I make a round trip system.

    I am coding a form for a transfer service, they offer both single trip or round trips from airport to hotel. Idea would be selecting one day when the customer only gets one-way trips, and two days when it's round trips. Right now the calendar allows me either one, or two days, on the whole.

    I cannot create separated resources because it's actually the same resource, just that one or two days can be booked, depending on a checkbox. How would I go for this? Thanks in advance.

  7. Hi, I have a problem with MultiUser 8.7.7.
    I use Ait-Theme DirectoryPro2 theme with the possibility to list items (like hotels, b&B etc) with a membership plan.
    I would like to give the possibility to create own booking system to the item's owner.

    So I go to BookingCalendar-Settings-User and I activate user as Regular User. Then I login with "Regular User" credential and I don't see any option to add or setup Booking Calendar.

    What capabilities use your plugin? Custom? What is the "regular user" wordpress role? I see Regular User can manage Booking Calendar only if I set it as Editor Role.

    User that register to my website, has a Free or paid account with custom role and capabilies. If you can say me what are wpbc capabilities, I could add and associate to custom role using a role manager plugin.

      Please login as "super booking admin user".
      Then open the Booking > Settings General page and in Plugin menu section, set the minimum user role for Booking Calendar menu pages.
      Booking Calendar support only standard WordPress user roles, like Subscriber, Editor, Author, Administrator.

        Is there a way to assign wpbk capabilities to a role? I don't want to assign double role to user registered on my website, I would like to add capabilities. Or, could let admin to assign custom role for use booking calendar?
        If not, could you let me know where is the function in php file that assign role?
        Please, this is a blocking issue, there are many user registered as "Premium role" waiting for Booking Calendar features.

          If you want to make your own customization, so then you can do this in this file ../{Booking Calendar Folder}\core\wpbc.php

            • I tryed to customize function without success. Even if I assigned Booking Calendar to Subscriber user only, when I login with a custom role, I can see Booking Calendar functions!
              So I can't manage paied membership and assign only to paying user booking calendar features.
              I'll need to assign booking capabilities to custom role too or this plugin is useless for my project and I'll ask for refund.
              Could you help me? I have custom roles, basic, premium, plus etc and I need to assign Booking Calendar function only to Premium or Plus users.
              I could assign capabilities manually using a plugin, could you tell me what capabilities your system use? Or, could you add the possibility to assign custom roles?

                As in description in my previous comments, the Booking Calendar support only standard WordPress user roles, like Subscriber, Editor, Author, Administrator.

                Custom user roles is not supporting in the plugin. Sorry.

    the last update deleted all forms but standard.

    How can I get the missing forms back?

    • Hello.
      Its have not to be so.
      Some forms can not appear in the selectbox at the Booking > Settings > Form page, only in case, if you create new custom booking form, and this new custom bo form contain some non standard symbol (like umlaut in the name of the form), that can generate the issue.

      If you have previos backup of your database, so you can try to restore this backup, and forms have to re appear.
      Otherwise you need to create such forms again.

    How could I change $ to € in labels in Costs, Advanced Costs etc page? I changed currency to € but every labels has $ simbol.
    Owner see $ and not € on costs or price tables.

    • Hello.
      You can change currency at the Booking > Settings > Payment > General page.
      And also in each activated payment system at the tabs at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

      Please note, inside of calendar day cells the currency symbol you can define at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar section.

              You need to configure correctly currency symbol at the Booking > Settings General page in calendar section.
