I don't seem to be able to add bookings for more than 12 months in advance? Is this not an option in the plug-in or is there a setting I need to change or is something wrong?
Hello.
Please open the Booking > Settings General page and in calendar section for the option “number of months to scroll” set value as 2 years.
Kind Regards.
Hi, I have small business. I want to show booking of one appartment on a page to the owner of the appartment. Is there any shortcode etc.?
You can create the different booking resources (your properties or services - unique calendars) at the Booking > Resources page and then you be able to insert booking forms for each of your booking resources into the posts or pages. Please read more how to insert and configure the booking shortcode into the post or page here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/
2) In Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Please check more here (at bottom of the page) https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/
Also each owner (user) will receive the emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them. Please note, that the each owner WordPress user) will have different individual calendar(s) with booking forms in the separate pages. Please retest it in the live demo. You can read more about the initial configuration of the Booking Calendar MultiUser version: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/multiuser-video-overview/
Hi, I have configured everything and included the shortcode, but on the page the calendar is not displayed.
Why?
Regards
Linda
Hello.
Its most probably that you are having some JavaScript error at that page. Please recheck your page for any JavaScript errors (usually for see what JavaScript error you have you need to press Ctrl {+} Shift {+} J for showing browser console) and try to fix them.
You can check for the most common issues on the FAQ page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ at the troubleshooting section.
You can also try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu. Then retest it again.
If its not help, please deactivate your active theme and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again. May be there exist some conflict with some active plugin or actual theme and just need to find the reason of that issue.
If you still will have this issue, please send the link to the page with booking form, where you are having an issue, I will check it then.
Hi Support,
I have placed an additional select field named "Showroom" with options Showroom A and Showroom B, if the client selects for Showroom A, the email notification (New Visitor) will be sent to the email of Showroom A and when the client selects for Showroom B, the email will be sent to the email of the Showroom B.
Please note that Showroom A and B are 2 different branches and they have separate emails. We only need to be notified based what Showroom does the client have chosen.
Are there any solutions for this?
Hello.
In case, if you need to have the different emails for the different booking resources so then you need to check the BookingCalendar MultiUser version.
In this version each activated regular user can have their own booking admin panel and can configure their own emails.
So here different emails relative to specific WP user, and each such user can have their own booking resources. Its means that different booking resources will have different emails.
In the Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Please check more here (at bottom of the page) https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/

You can read more about the initial configuration of the BookingCalendar MultiUser version: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/

Please read more how to insert and configure the booking shortcode into the post or page here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/inserting-booking-form/
2) If you need to make a specific number of bookings per day, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where it is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots). Please read more about it here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/apacity
In this version it is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in the calendar will be available until the number of reservations is less than capacity of the booking resource. But it's possible to make booking only for FULL date, not a time slot (time slots in this version are only saved as data into the database, but do not apply to availability logic).
Hello! My calendar stopped showing up at some point. The calendar doesn't show up but the form fields do. Everything seems to work fine with bookings but whatever I do, I can not show the names on the timeline.
The blocks appear free or booked and confirmed but are empty.
Hello.

How can I omit a certain time schedule on a specific day?
For example,
Monday to Thursday the schedule will be 9:00am to 4:30pm
Friday 9:00am-1:00pm
Sunday 10:00am-1:00pm
How can I remove the 1:00 pm onwards time schedule on Fridays and Sundays, and remove the 9:00 am time schedule for Sunday?
Thank you for your help.
Hello.
It’s possible to have the different times selection for the different days in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#times-week-days
Hi Support,
I have Business large version.
I have a trouble with decresing of availability depending on capacity.
At the Booking > Settings General page in advanced section, I activated theration button: Display tooltip on calendar(s) to show availability based on total (fixed) number of visitors for the resource, which can be at free booking resource items.
When my customers select 2 visitors, sometimes availability decreases of 2, sometimes it does just for 1. Even several bookings go to same parent resource and availability is only -1 on the calendar while customers selected 3.
These two cases occur for the same form and the same resource, just somatimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Would you help me please?
Have nice day
Hello.
1) Please be sure that at the Booking > Resources page for specific booking resource you have set the maximum number of visitors as 1
2) You need to have specific number of "child booking resources" under that booking resource, for having specific capacity of this booking resource.
3) In the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page you need to have the selection of visirors shortcode (it's how many booking resources will be booked during one process). Example: Items: [select visitors "1" "2" "3" "4"]
All is checked :
- Capacity max =1
- 1 Parent resource selected for the form, 3 child resources affected to the parent, each visitor max =1
- my form is written [select visitors "1" "2" "3" "4"]
- general settings are based on fixed nb of visitors
Last week i had a booking for 2 resources, it was ok the booking distribution for 2 resources worked.
And now (without changing anything) for the same form & same resource, a client booked for several resources, it took only 1 resource.
Furthermore, when i add another reservation to test, it adds 2 or 3 or more reservations on the one parent resource without distribution (so availability doesn't decreases)
I can send screenshots if needed
Thank you for help
Hello.
Please send screenshots of those settings pages and send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
Please send all this info to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
Hi,
I have two questions. I just bought the personal upgrade for the booking calender because I want to accomplish two things for my consultant business:
1) I want to use the booking tool to give interest the opportunity to book a consulation call. Therefore I set up the calender from Monday to Fryday from 9am to 8 pm and a call is half an hour. But how do I manage to not offer all the timeslots, for example if I am in meetings on Friday from 9 till 11, i just want the user to be able to select from 11 am or later. I can't find the opportuity to take out specific timeslots.
2) If a timeslot is not avalable, I like it that it is grey in the dropdown menu and can't be used anymore. So for so fine. But I don't like the tooltip in the canelder when there is a mouseover event. How do I get rid of the tooltip with already booked timeslots?
Kind regards,
Gregor
Hello.
1) Yo block times from 9 to 11 AM on specific date, you just need to make blank bookings for this times at specific time at the Booking > Add booking page .
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/multiple-languages-video-tutorial/
You can make blank booking in 3 mouse clicks at the Booking > Add booking page by using Auto fill button at the top toolbar.
2) You can deactivate loading of bootstrap library by Booking Calendar at the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section, by unchecking this option " Disable Bootstrap loading on Front-End " after expand of this section " Show advanced settings of JavaScript loading ".
Its can be reason of not showing mouse over tooltips in the Booking Calendar at the front-end side.
First of all, thanks for your answer. The second question ist solved it worked.
To the first question:
Since my time slots are half an hour and I offer timingslots from 9 am to 8 pm, each day consists of 22 different timeslots. If I wouild like to block like in my example from 9 to 11, I would have to make 4 blanks Bookings by myself. But this was just an example. There are day on which I can't offer any consulting call, becuase I have the day booked by a company. In this case I would have to make 22 blank bookings? This can't be the right solution ... isn't there an easy way to disable several timeslots , even hole days with a few clicks?
Hello.
You can use the start time and duration of time fields, where you can block several time slots, from 30 minutes to 11 hours.
Example:
Start time: [select starttime "10:00" "10:30" "11:00" "13:00" "14:00" "15:00" "16:00" "18:00"]
Time Duration: [select durationtime "15min@@00:15" "30 min@@00:30" "45 min@@00:45" "1 hour@@01:00" "1 hour 30 min@@01:30"]
Kind Regards.
Thanks for your fast reply and your patience.
I am really sorry but I don't see where I can do this. When I go to "add booking" I just see my calender and the form, exactly like on the front page. There I just have the opportunity to add a booking and select ONE Timeslot from a dropdown menu. Your solution looks like code, but where do I put it?
Kind regards
Gregor
Hello.
To use the start time and duration of time instead of time slots you can configure at the Booking > Settings > Form page.
Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields-settings-video-tutorial/
Kind Regards.
Probably you don't get what I try to accomplisch.
The Booking field for the customers with several timeslots of half an hour each is totally fine. I do not want to change the form for the customer.
What I need is to block specific timeslots because I am not available. For example if I am not able to offer timeframes on a specific day, I need to block the whole day. Currenty to accomplish this I would have to make 22 bookings in the backend. Like I said this can't be the right solution.
To be clear a short example:
Lets say I offer half an hour timeslots fom 9 am to 8 pm for a whole week, the customer can choose from
1) The only way to block specific time-slots it's to make blank booking for such time slots.
In your case, you can have the start time and duration of time fields.
Example:
Start time: [select starttime "09:00" "09:30" "10:00" "10:30" "11:00" "11:30" "12:00" "12:30" "13:00" "13:30" "14:00" "14:30" "15:00" "15:30" "16:00" "16:30" "17:00" "17:30" "18:00" "18:30" "19:00" "19:30" "20:00"]
Duration of time: [select durationtime "00:30" "01:00" "01:30" "02:00" "02:30" "03:00" "03:30" "04:00" "04:30" "05:00" "05:30" "06:00" "06:30" "07:00" "07:30" "08:00" "08:30" "09:00" "09:30" "10:00" "10:30" "11:00"]
2) So in your example, you need to select the 13:00 as start time and 06:00 in duration of time as 6 hours for blocking from 1pm to 7pm.
Please note, if you are using the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions, you can configure such start time and duration of time as separate custom booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page. And then at the Booking > Add booking page, just select your new custom booking form, and use these start time and duration of time fields.
At the front-end side you can use old time slots selections for your visitors.
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#custom-forms
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/custom-booking-forms-video-overview/
P.S. There are no any other way to block time slots.
Kind Regards.
I still don't get it.
In my booking formular in the front end there ist no such field for the customer to change the duration, since each consultation call ist half an hour.
Therefore I also do not have this field in the back end and can't set the duration to 6 hours. Still need to make 12 bookings x half an hour. Or ist there I possibility I can use this field without having it in the frontend (like I said, I donÄt want customers to have to change the duration)
Hello.
Probably you are using the Booking Calendar Personal version. In the Booking Calendar Personal version available shortcode field only for the time slots selection. Time duration and start time fields does not available.
And the several custom booking forms (where in one booking form you can have time slots selections for the front-end side, and in other custom booking form you can have start time and duration of time fields for Booking > Add booking page to make blank bookings) available only in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
If you want to make upgrade to higher version of Booking Calendar please contact support @ wpbookingcalendar.com , explain from what version you are upgrading and what version do you need.

Example:
Start time: [select starttime "10:00" "10:30" "11:00" "13:00" "14:00" "15:00" "16:00" "18:00"] Time Duration: [select durationtime "15min@@00:15" "30 min@@00:30" "45 min@@00:45" "1 hour@@01:00" "1 hour 30 min@@01:30"]
Lets say I offer half an hour timeslots fom 9 am to 8 pm for a whole week, the customer can choose from
Monday
9.00 - 9.30
9.30 - 10.00
10.00 - 10.30
10.30 - 11.00
11.00 - 11.30
11.30 - 12.00
12.00 - 12.30
12.30 - 13.00
13.00 - 13.30
13.30 - 14.00
14.00 - 14.30
14.30 - 15.00
15.00 - 15.30
15.30 - 16.00
16.00 - 16.30
16.30 - 17.00
17.00 - 17.30
17.30 - 18.00
18.00 - 18.30
18.30 - 19.00
19.00 - 19.30
19.30 - 20.00
and for the other five days exactly the same.
This is what the customer sees.
BUT I now I have a meeting on Monday from 1pm to 7pm, I need to be able to take out the offered timeslots. Therefore the customer should only see
Monday
9.00 - 9.30
9.30 - 10.00
10.00 - 10.30
10.30 - 11.00
11.00 - 11.30
11.30 - 12.00
12.00 - 12.30
12.30 - 13.00
19.00 - 19.30
19.30 - 20.00
Hello.
I understand you.
1) The only way to block specific time-slots it's to make blank booking for such time slots.
In your case, you can have the start time and duration of time fields.
Example:
Start time: [select starttime "09:00" "09:30" "10:00" "10:30" "11:00" "11:30" "12:00" "12:30" "13:00" "13:30" "14:00" "14:30" "15:00" "15:30" "16:00" "16:30" "17:00" "17:30" "18:00" "18:30" "19:00" "19:30" "20:00"] Duration of time: [select durationtime "00:30" "01:00" "01:30" "02:00" "02:30" "03:00" "03:30" "04:00" "04:30" "05:00" "05:30" "06:00" "06:30" "07:00" "07:30" "08:00" "08:30" "09:00" "09:30" "10:00" "10:30" "11:00"]
3) In Case if you want to block entire day. If you need to set different available dates for the different seasons, then it's possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.
Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#availability
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-calendar-video-season-availability/
Kind Regards.
