Hello
I have a problem and it is:
When a customer fills in the form and receives a confirmation email, the email address is landingpage...@omgroup.ch. This I can not find where this can be changed. I have left another in the setting on emails. This does not appear in the email of the customer. How can I change this, so that not landingpage...@omgroup.ch but another stands? Thank you for your message.
Hello.
You can configure the emails at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.
You can configure the option “From” for each email templates at those pages.
Please note, if you are using smtp plug-in for sending emails, then such field can be overridden by this plugin.
You need to check in the settings of this smtp plugin about that email address.
Kind Regards.
I originally purchased the small business plugin, but then upgraded to medium business because I need seasonality pricing. I am now displaying the daily cost on the calendar, but the row height of the calendar has not expanded, so the daily cost is cut off (you can see the date but the cost for the day only half shows). How can this be fixed?
Hello.
You can define the height of calendar day cells in the options parameter of Booking Calendar shortcode during inserting it into the post or page.
Hi,
I like to use this plugin on the site but before we use can you please let me know can we sync the booking with Google Calendar and restrict the same time booking?
Import.
Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
Please note, the import process is working in that case, when a visitor opens your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically accessing this page with booking import shortcodes to start the import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly the system will start the import process and only then show the booking form, when someone visits your page.
You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/
Export.
Please check about the configuration of export .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/export-ics-feeds/
Booking Calendar is generated .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some services (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into their own system, does not depend on the Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force the import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed for making imports.
Hi, I have a website with a directory of listings. The theme has an internal booking system, but it is fall limited. Is it possible to use your plugin for a multivendor site? If yes, how will the vendor customize the booking?
Hello.
Yes it’s possible. You need to check the Booking Calendar MultiUser version.
In Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Please check more here (at bottom of the page) https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/
Also each owner (user) will receive the emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them. Please note, that the each owner WordPress user) will have different individual calendar(s) with booking forms in the separate pages. Please retest it in the live demo. You can read more about the initial configuration of the Booking Calendar MultiUser version: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/multiuser-video-overview/
Great!
I have a few questions:
1. How do I assign a booking form to an existing listing?
2. How will the vendor manage the booking settings? (If MultiUser is in trial version?)
Hello.
1) Different "regular users" (vendors) by default has the different custom booking forms configuration. So in this case the booking forms of specific regular user relative to the calendar (booking resource) of this "regular user". It is means that if you insert the shortcode for the booking form of booking resource(calendar) with ID=9 of the regular user (WP User with ID=100), like this: [booking type=9] ( Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/ )
Then system automatically will load custom booking form of this user (with ID=1000), which this user configured at the Booking > Settings > Form page.
And even more. It's possible to use more complex configuration with several custom booking forms, if you need, for regual users and super booking admin user.
2) Unfortunately, paid versions of Booking Calendar do not have trials. Sorry.
You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure of functionality and do not have misunderstanding.
Also you can download the Booking Calendar Free version ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/booking/ ) to test it at your website about how it's working with your theme and other plugins.
1. Can I connect my own payment methods via API?
2. If I have selected the Multiuser tariff, can I show (display) the plugin settings on the front page (maybe with short code)?
Hello.
1) If you want to make the integration of your payment system by yourself, you will be able to check how integrated payment systems exist in the plugin like Stripe payment gateway. Please check more about this here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/custom-gateway-in-7-0/
Please note, if you modify the source code of the Booking Calendar, we will not guarantee the correct work of the plugin and do not support it.
The Business Small and higher versions of the Booking Calendar is support Stripe, PayPal (Standard and PayPal Pro Hosted Solution (please note, PayPal PayPal Pro Hosted Solution its does not the same as PayPal Pro)), Authorize.Net, Sage Pay, iDEAL Buckaroo and iPay88 payment gateways integration (also plugin support showing text info for payment by cash and bank transfer - its only show text info but does not connect to any bank system), other payment systems are not supporting yet. You can configure and activate it at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
I have the same question.. is it possible in the meantime to select multiple resources?
Hello.
Sorry, where exactly do you need to select multiple booking resources ? Can you send screenshot or explain more detail?
Your comment do not relative to some other old comments... I can not find relative issue.
Kind Regards.
Hello guys,
I am using your booking calendar on a website. I'm pre-loading jQuery, since I need it for some other functions on the website. But when I got the jQuery loaded (in the ofcourse), the calendar is not showing up and I get errors.
When I remove the script of the jQuery, all is fine and the calendar is working. We have used all versions of jQuery, but sadly none is working. Do you got a solution?
Hello.
Currently I can see the calendar at your website, and can submit the test bookings.
Please note, Booking Calendar require that jQuery library have to load at the header of the website.
Hello, I have a problem with importing from Google Calendar. During the last import all my reservations which last a few hours on a single day arrived in booking calendar with an end date defined for the next day.
Example: my event is October 3 from 5pm to 7pm and it arrived in booking calendar with a start on October 3 at 5pm and an end on October 4 at pm.
I hope my explanations are clear and that you can help me resolve the problem. Thanks in advance.
Best regards

Hello.
Please open the Booking > Settings > Sync > “General” page and set for timezone “Default” option.
Also at the end of the page please be sure that the option “ Append check out day” was disabled.
Kind Regards.
The"configure booking calendar block" popup is not working when I add the block to my page.
Hello.
Probably it’s because of conflict with some other plug-in.
Try to add the shortcode block to your page and then configure the shortcode manually. Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
Hello!
We have a question about our free version - which we are very happy with:
With us you can also book various options for a booking, which will also be sent in the confirmation email to the person making the booking and the admin.
* If an option has been selected, the email will say "
Option xy: Yes
".
* If an option was NOT selected, the email will say "
Option xy:
".
This is quite confusing for many people!
Is there a way to add "not wanted" after the option name instead of the empty text?
Example:
Coffee place settings: Yes
Soup plate: not desired
Thanks a lot for tips and/or solutions!
Hello.
Currently it is not possible in actual version. But I will add improvements to this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of the plugin, but I can not say when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.
Kind Regards.
Thank you for the information and for putting the item on the TODO list.

Currently I can see the calendar at your website, and can submit the test bookings.
Please note, Booking Calendar require that jQuery library have to load at the header of the website.
If you need to load other different version of jQuery, please use standard WordPress logic for this: https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/basics/including-css-javascript/#scripts
Kind Regards.
Hi,
I forgot to outcomment the jQuery in the header haha. Now the jQuery is loading, and as you can see, the calendar isnt showing up.
Hello.
You need to load different version of jQuery, by using standard WordPress logic. Please do not make direct code insertion in the header of theme file.
