Hi, I want to add another email address to get notifications for when a booking is made. How can I add another email address so I have two email addresses that get notifications for when a booking is made?
Hello.
You can define the comma separated emails in the field "To" or if you have activated sending a copy of emails in these fields at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.
This "do-not-pass-security" check error is driving me insane. All the request articles that I've checked seem to refer to some cache issue somewhere either at wordpress, or via some plugin. We have no cache plugins. I can't find any options at WordPress to turn off any caching of pages - and I've even gone in via ssh and vi'd the wp-config.php file hunting for WP_CACHE, and it doesn't exist in the current version of wordpress.
Flushing the cache on wordpress doesn't solve the problem either. Going into the settings of WP Booking Calendar and hitting save, does solve the issue - but I need to do this on a daily basis. Seems like it works for a few hours, perhaps a day - and then the error just keeps coming back.
Has anyone a resolution to this annoying issue? The thing works perfectly fine - other than this error...
thanks all...
Hello.
Your description is look like cache issue.
By the way I can suggest that you do not have such issue at the Booking > Add booking page in Admin panel.
If you sure that there is no cache plugin please recheck with support of the hosting about the cache system at the server. You need to deactivate it or add the exception to not cache the pages with booking forms.
Kind Regards.
Hi!
I accidentally deleted my default calendar and lost the data.
How can I restore it?
Hello.
1) It is possible to restore it, only in case if you have the backup of your database, so you need to restore previous backup of your database.
2) Otherwise you need to create a new booking resource at the Booking > Resources page.
Then insert the booking form for this new booking resource into the post or page (or re-insert the shortcode for this new booking resource at the old page, where you was shortcode for old (deleted) booking resource). Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
3) And you need to find all lost bookings of deleted booking resource, and re-assign them to the new booking resource.
You can find all such lost bookings by opening the Booking > Settings General page and click on "Find lost bookings" button in Help section.
Kind Regards.
I can find nothing in the download link you provided that will even allow me to access my dashboard therefore unable to use this product. I even tried a different browser but no joy. Also, I can find nothing on your site that addresses this problem. If you can't provide a quick solution, please cancel the order and provide a full refund as soon as possible. Order number:{cutted}.
Thank you.

Hi, I have just upgraded from Business Small to Business Medium so that I could configure different time slots for different days of the week on our tennis website. For example, I needed to blank out Sundays from 13:00 to 16:00 so that no one could book those times. I have tried doing it using the Start time - End time fields, see below:
It kind of worked but not completely because, unfortunately, people could still potentially book a court on Sunday from 12:30 to 16:30, which I don't want. Is there a way to blank out/block book specific times on specific days, for example 13:00 - 16:00 on Sundays, so that they show as booked in the calendar and no one can book those times at all? I simply don't want those times to be bookable at all on Sundays. I have also tried configuring it with the [duration] shortcode but ran into the same problem, i.e. when I selected 12:30 as the start time, it let me book for 1 hour despite the fact that I had the times between 13:00 and 16:00 set as not available in the form.
If you could help me figure this out, that would be brilliant.
Thank you.
Hello.
In this case the best way to make the blank bookings for such time slots.
Please open the Booking > Settings General page in “Calendar” section snd Activate the Multiple days selection mode.
Then activate this option “use time selection as recurrent time slots”.
After this open the calendar and select all the dates, where you want to block that times. Select the time and submit the blank bookings.
Now the time slots at those dates have to be blocked.
Kind Regards.
OK, got it, thank you.
At one time I had this working. It is not now.
On my site FlipFopFantasies.com I have a page where we can view the details of a booking. Down at the bottom of the page there is a link for View Bookings. "ViewBook" I had this page set up as a password protected page. This would allow the pilot to view the details of any future bookings. Right now there is only a black screen where the bookings are and no links to view the details.
Currently, at this page [https://flipflopfantasies.com/viewbook/], I can see only the Header (H1) 'viewbook.' There is no link with such text on this page. Or am I missing something?
Please note, this link or header 'viewbook' is not a part of the Booking Calendar plugin's functionality, but it appears to be part of your text content, which you have added during editing your page or it may be a component of your theme.
Do you mean something else?
Kind Regards.
Hi, I would like to add "if condition" in additional cost section. Can you clarify for me how to do so? I would like to do different cost depending on the nights count. For instance first night should be 10$, second 9$ and the third, fourth, etc fixed to 8$.
Looking forward to your advice.
Hello.
It’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions. Check more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#valuation-days
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/valuation-days-cost-video-overview/
"Valuation days" can apply for any days. Or in case if you need apply it to specific season, then it can depend only from the belonging "check in day" to specific season. Its means that, if you select 2 weeks, the "Valuation days" can apply costs only depending from the check in day belonging to specific season, even if some other days belonging to other season. In other words, if you will have the days selection with season intersections, then you can have an issue with "Valuation days". Basically "Valuation days" is useful, in case, if you need to set some discount or higher cost depend from the number of selected days. For example if visitor select 7 or more days, then booking will have 10% discount, etc...
I see, but in my case (business medium) valuation days is not an option. In my case price mainly consist from visitors number and nights count, which comes from advanced cost section, therefore I need that price would depend like this:
total_cost=10*visitors_count*nights_count*(number_of_nights_coef), where for the first night coefficient (number_of_nights_coef) is 1, second 0.8, third, fourth, fifth, etc. 0.7. Therefore, I am curious about if condition or the any other way out of this situation.
Looking forward for your reply
Hello.
1) In "Valuation days" You can define your coefficient.
It's can be something like this:
Together 1 day = 100%
Together 2 day = 80%
Together 3 day = 70%
...
Because 0.8, 0.7 in your case it's the same like percentage for the total booking cost.
2) Then open the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page and for visitors options configure it like:
visitors:
1 = 10 USD / night
2 = 20 USD / night
3 = 30 USD / night
...
Kind Regards.
If it is my mistake, I cannot find it, but I suppose the valuation days take a percentage not from total cost, but from the original cost, which does not include advanced costs. correct me if i am wrong. other option would be to do an original cost which would depend on the number of visitors, but as far as i have tried it's also not possible.
looking for the further advices.
Hello.
You can activate or deactivate this option “ Advanced Cost” at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
That option can be enabled if you want that specific additional cost, which configured as percentage for some option, apply to other additional fixed costs and not only to original booking cost.
I am wondering is it possible to synchronize several calendars between each other? Example could be as follows: number of hotel rooms exist, each with different booking calendar, also one separate (main) calendar exists which enables option to book all the rooms at once. I am curious if main calendar is booked, is it possible that the booking from main calendar would affect each room calendars? what about other way around?
I will explain it in an example of booking separate rooms and the entire house.
Please note, all such separate properties will have separate booking forms with calendars at the front-end side of your website.
It means that you can book an entire house, or specific room in a separate booking form.
So in case if you want to show as unavailable some dates or times in all calendars (booking resources), if some booking was made in only one calendar (booking resource), then it’s possible to configure it with "aggregate" parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode ( it's possible in all paid versions of Booking Calendar). This parameter makes the dates in the calendar unavailable if these dates were booked in some other booking resources.
Please check more about "aggregate" parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
Example of configuration:
Booking resources at the Booking > Resources page:
- House ( ID = 3 )
- Room #1 ( ID = 4 )
- Room #2 ( ID = 5 )
And you need to insert the Booking Calendar shortcodes into the pages like this
If some rooms will be booked for a specific date(s) or time, these dates/time will be unavailable in House calendar.
And if House will be booked for a specific date(s), then in all Rooms (booking forms), these dates also will be unavailable.
Where do I find the shortcode to add this to my website with elementor editor? I can't seem to find it.
In case, if you are using the Elementor or some other non standard WordPress block editor in your theme, then you can add the shortcode block to your page, and configure the shortcode manually.
I am looking for the solution how to synchronize booking calendar with google calendar. I need that new booking appeared in booking calendar would be automatically moved to the google calendars, so far everything works manually by exporting .ics, but I am looking for an option to synchronize it automatically when the new booking is made. The refresh time could be within a few hours.
Hello.
Export.
Booking Calendar is generate .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some service (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into own system, does not depend from Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force to generate import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed tor making import.
Import.
Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically access this page with booking import shortcode to start import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly system will start import process and only then show booking form, when someone visit your page.
In case if you are having some issue of not ability to import new events, then check this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ics-importing-issue/
You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/
For example:
email1@server.com;othet-email@gmail.com
If it’s will not work, then use this
email1@server.com,othet-email@gmail.com
You can check overview with description of main features in different Booking Calendar versions at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/
You can test live demos ( https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ ) of all Booking Calendar versions to be sure of functionality.

Hello.
It’s possible to make such a configuration with aggregate parameter.
Please check more here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-form/
And you need to insert the Booking Calendar shortcodes into the pages like this
- House
[booking type=3 aggregate='4;5' ]
- Room #1 ( ID = 4 )
[booking type=4 aggregate='3' ]
- Room #2 ( ID = 5 )
[booking type=5 aggregate='3' ]
....
Thanks,
Harry
