  1. Is there a way to modify the booking confirmation message?
    Currently the booking confirmation message has "Your booking id:" message, is there a way to remove that and to make other changes to that message?

    thank you

    • Hello.
      Currently it’s not possible.
      We will add this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of plugin, but I can not say when exactly it’s will be implemented. Thank you for understanding.

  2. Hello

    Is it possible, to limit the number of available bookings in different time slots?

    Right now, each day I have (08:00-17:00) (08:00-13:00) (12:00-17:00), and each time slot can be booked an unlimited amount of times.

    What if I want a specific amount of available bookings in each time slot, so for example 5 available bookings in each time slot, and after that amount us reached the time slot becomes unavailable to pick on that day.

    • Hello.
      If you need to make a specific number of bookings per days or times, consider using the Booking Calendar Business Large version. In this version, you can make multiple reservations for specific date(s) or times. Learn more about this feature at https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#capacity

      You can test it in the live demo at https://bl.wpbookingcalendar.com/

      Watch a video about this feature at https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/availability-capacity-video-overview/

      In this version, you can set the capacity of the booking resource. Dates/times in the calendar will be available until the number of reservations reaches the capacity of the booking resource.

      Check this article about configuring capacity for booking resources: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/capacity-concept

      • Thanks for the response, I have taken a look at the materials you have sent, but it doesn't really propose a solution to my specific issue.

        I can understand that it is possible to have 1 booking in a time slot, for example if the times slots were 08:00-09:00, 09:00-10:00 and 10:00-11:00, then when 1 time slot was booked, it can't be booked again.

        But in my case, I can't guarantee that a person is available in that short timeframe, so I have 08:00-13:00 and 12:00-17:00, and then I want 5 available bookings in those timeframes, so after that time slot is booked 5 times, it can't be booked again. But it can be booked up to 5 times and still be available to the next person.

        How can that be done?

        • Hello.
          It is possible to have multiple bookings per same time slot at the same selected date in Booking Calendar Business Large or higher version. If you define the capacity per booking resource as 5 then your can have for timeslots like 08:00-13:00 and 12:00-17:00 to have 5 available bookings in these timeframes.
          After visitor made 5 bookings for 08:00-13:00, then such time slots in specific date will become unavailable.

          Please recheck my previous comment about the Booking Calendar Business Large version and capacity there.

  3. Hi,

    We keep getting an error in ideal (buckaroo) when we try to pay.

    it is error 5 No description

    Thanks

  4. Hi,

    We are getting an no description error when we tyr to pay with ideal(buckaroo).

    Do you know how to solve this?

    Regards

      • Hello,

        We have updated the plugin we now get this error: TA3400

        • Hello.
          Please recheck your error.log in your server configuration, about any relative errors. If you can not find error.log file, please contact support of your hosting company about helping in finding this file.

          Otherwise Probably it's because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
          Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
          If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and activate the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
          We just need to find the reason for this issue.

          Kind Regards.

  5. In the backend it is possible to change the return_url for every single payment provider.
    We are using IDEAL Buckaroo. But when people are making a payment page still returns to succesful or failed.
    In the database I can see that the field booking_ideal_return_url is correct like what I filled in the advanced options of the payment provider. In our case /natuurkampeerterrein/betaling-gelukt
    But when I make a payment it returns me to the page /succesful. But this page does not exist anymore in my configuration.

    • Hello.
      You can define Success/ Failed URLs at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Payment > IDEAL Buckaroo page
      Kind Regards.

      • Thanks for your response.
        Like I described I changed the values on WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Payment > IDEAL Buckaroo page to the values I want. In the database I can see that is has been changed.
        But, when I make a payment it does not return to that url. It still goes to the default urls for Succes/Failed.

  6. I have used the Booking Calendar for a few years. When I went to my website to make some general updates to the site, I noticed that the Booking Calendar was completely gone. I then purchased another 6-month update, however it is not working properly – the old version automatically had user email listed and ability to begin picking dates along with a submit button, which is not there. The previous bookings and configurations are there, but there is not way to sign up now. I like your plugin, but it has been and continues to be very difficult to configure update. Can you please help me with this?
    {CUTTED}

    Thank you!

    • Hello.
      If you need that your booking form fields auto filled by user data, when you logged into your WordPress admin account, then you need to open the WP Booking Calendar > Settings General page in "Form Options" section and Activate this option "Auto-fill fields". Then Save chnages.

      After this if you logged into WordPress and try to make the booking at front-end side, some form fields, like First Name, Second Name, Email, will be auto filled by the data from the WordPress user profile.

      Please note, Unfortunately, we can not configure admin panel at customer websites, due to security reason. Please check what support we are providing here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/what-support-do-you-provide/

  7. When applying seasonal pricing, as well as a "# visitors" variable for additional costs, the booking form correctly displays the "cost_hint" shortcode with the correct price. However, when the payment email is sent out, the "cost" shortcode seems to be doing some wrong calculations.

    Possibly ignoring the "price /night" setting, instead choosing "price / day" ?

    Anyone experiencing the same? Advice on this would be appreciated.

    • Hello.
      Please try to use [cost_hint] shortcode in the emails at the Booking > Settings > Emails page.
      Kind Regards.

      • I can change the [content] dashboard and email by using [cost_hint], however the system as admin still displays a wrong calculation in the "Booking Listings" overview: See picture https://ibb.co/7XgVWHD

        • Hello.
          [cost_hint] shortcode show total booking form that was relative at the time of creation of the booking. Such info showing with [content] shortcode at the booking Listing page.

          In the cost text field at the Bonlst page can be shown cost that is shows in the payment form. It can be different from the total booking cost, in case if you activated the deposit “partial no payments”.

          Check more at the notes section relative to specific booking.

          Kind Regards.

          • Hello.
            What shortcode do you use in the booking form and in the “Content of booking fields data” form ?

            Please open the Booking > Settings > Payment page and Activate this option “ Show debug cost info” at the Payment Options section. After this you will see your cost info at the front-end side of your website, for better understanding how costs is calculated.

            Kind Regards.

            • I'm using [cost_hint] which shows the following debug:
              "Valuation days (cost per day)"
              Daily fixed costs:
              Array
              (
              [0] => 225
              [1] => 225
              )
              Advanced costs
              Array
              (
              [0] => Fields configuration:
              [1] => Array
              (
              [visitors] => Array
              (
              [1] => 25
              [2] => 45
              [3] => 55
              [4] => 65
              [5] => 75
              [6] => 80
              [7] => 85
              [8] => 90
              [9] => 95
              [10] => 100
              )

              )

              )

              Total cost of days: 450
              Additional FIXED cost: 25
              Percentage (X factor): 1
              Final advanced cost: 450 * 1 + 25 = 475

              However, below the form, in what is probably the [cost] variable shown in the confirmation message, I get:
              "Valuation days (cost per day)"
              Daily fixed costs:
              Array
              (
              [0] => 225
              [1] => 225
              [2] => 225
              )
              Advanced costs
              Array
              (
              [0] => Fields configuration:
              [1] => Array
              (
              [visitors] => Array
              (
              [1] => 25
              [2] => 45
              [3] => 55
              [4] => 65
              [5] => 75
              [6] => 80
              [7] => 85
              [8] => 90
              [9] => 95
              [10] => 100
              )

              )

              )

              Total cost of days: 675
              Additional FIXED cost: 25
              Percentage (X factor): 1
              Final advanced cost: 675 * 1 + 25 = 700
              ---------------
              I'd like to remind that I have initially set the cost at "per night" rate, and not "per day", so confused as to why the debug shows "Validation days (cost per day)"

            • I think I found the problem. The following was enabled under Payment Gateways:

              Time impact to cost
              Check this box if you want the time selection on the booking form applied to the cost calculation.

              I'm guessing that since no times were defined, it used 00:00, and that for some reason it calculated the cost with n+1 nights instead of just n.

              • Hello.
                Yes, it can be reason of the issue.
                Kind Regards.

  8. I have a store with three locations.

    I want users to be able to choose the location they want to make an appointment with.
    It can be separate page where the user choose the location before redirecting them to the appointment form but I want to see which location they made the appointment. How to do that?

    • Hello.
      1) If you just need to see the location as a data in the booking then you can use the selectbox with all locations at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page.
      But in this case, for all your selected locations will be the same calendar (dates and availability the same for all locations).
      2) In case, if you need to have the different calendars with different availability for different locations, then you need to have the separate booking resources (calendars) for each of your locations. You can have the selection of booking resources (locations) like in this example https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/select-resource/
      Check more info about the shortcode for booking resources selection here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-booking-resources-selection/
      Kind Regards.

  9. di, I'm a beginner to the tool and so far I like it so much that I might want to buy it.

    Three questions though:

    When I use "[bookingtimeline type='1' view_days_num=365 header_title='All Bookings' scroll_month=3]", it shows me the calendar from April 2024. Can I also set it so that the calendar is always displayed from today - i.e. without specifying a fixed start date?

    If I use [bookingtimeline type='1' header_title='All Bookings' scroll_day=4] or [bookingtimeline type='1' view_days_num=90 header_title='All Bookings' scroll_day=5], the calendar starts on Saturday, but I would like to start on Monday.

    The Google Calendar synchronization function is great! Can I also define an entry in Google so that it is shown as "booked" or not available in the Booking Calendar after import?

    Many thanks for the answers in advance!

    • Hello.
      1) Use this shortcode:
      [bookingtimeline type='1' view_days_num=365 header_title='All Bookings']
      Find more information at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/shortcode-timeline/

      2) It's does not possible to define from what weekday it will start in the shortcode. You can try to change the "Start Day of the week" at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings General page in "Calendar" section.

      3) Unfortunately, it is not possible in the Booking Calendar versions. Sorry.

      Please read more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/#sync

      Import.
      Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
      Please note, the import process is working in that case, when a visitor opens your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically accessing this page with booking import shortcodes to start the import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly the system will start the import process and only then show the booking form, when someone visits your page.

      In case if you are having some issue of not ability to import new events, then check this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ics-importing-issue/

      You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/

      Export.
      Please check about the configuration of export .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/export-ics-feeds/
      Booking Calendar is generated .ics feed with bookings in real time. But how often some services (like airbnb, or booking.com ) access this .ics feed to import the bookings from Booking Calendar into their own system, does not depend on the Booking Calendar. So in other words, Booking Calendar does not force the import process by third party service, when some booking is created. You need to check with support of this service (like airbnb or booking.com), about how often they can access the .ics feed for making imports.

      Kind Regards.
