Hi, the calendar is not showing availability for any months in the future or past if I use the arrows to move from month to month. It only shows if I select the month using the dropdown. Can someone help?
Hello.
Please open the Booking > Settings General page and be sure that you have correctly configured the availability section.
Otherwise If you do not see the booked dates in calendar at the front-end, please open the General Booking Settings page and in the "Advanced section", please be sure that you have not activated this option: "Allow unlimited bookings per same day(s)". This option must be unchecked. If its checked, please uncheck it and update the settings.
This option "Use pending days as available" must be unchecked, as well.
If you still will have this issue, please recheck for the any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).
Otherwise Please send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue. and send screenshot of Booking > Settings General page.
Please send all this info to support @ wpbookingcalendar.com
Kind Regards.
Hi, Can I use the plugin to create bookings for teachers? Like for tutoring? Using timeslots, Can I configure a different calendar per teacher profile? If so, which version of the plugin should I buy?
Hello.
In case if you need to have different booking admin panels t do or each teacher, then you need to check the Booking Calendar MultiUser version.
In Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Please check more here (at bottom of the page) https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/
Also each owner (user) will receive the emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them. Please note, that the each owner WordPress user) will have different individual calendar(s) with booking forms in the separate pages. Please retest it in the live demo. You can read more about the initial configuration of the Booking Calendar MultiUser version: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/
Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/multiuser-video-overview/
I have the following pricing structure:
Season cost/night: x
Additional (final cleaning) Season cost/booking: y
Non season cost/night: z
Additional (Final cleaning) Non season cost/booking: q
I was able to solve x and y, but I can not solve y and q.
Can you help?
Thanks,
Attila
Hello.
By default it’s does not possible to set dependence of advanced costs at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page from the seasonal rates.
And then you can configure the different additional cost for such checkboxes with different names (which will activate at specific season) at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page.
Kind Regards.
Hi,
I have a problem and I can't figure it out. I added a booking form with calendar to a page (it shows three months). Once I preview or publish this page, the calendar months are overlapping. The header of each month seems shorter in width than the actual calendar (days underneath) width. So for example, February starts halfway January. I do have a screenshot, but I can't add it to this message.
I work in Safari, but it also doesn't work for me in other browsers. On my mobile (safari) it seems fine, because it shows the months vertically, so no overlapping. I didn't adjust the width or height.
Hello.
It's because of CSS conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
Otherwise send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.
Kind Regards.
Please do not forget to clear browser cache before testing these changes.
Kind Regards.
If our employees make a booking, they get a mail with a link to cancel te booking.
If they click on the link, they get the message like; You need to log-in to cancel the reservation. But they were already logged in.
And is there a possibility they get an 'account' page were they can manage things like this?
Hello.
Sorry, can you send example such of such cancel link and screenshot of the issue ?
By the way. Here is instruction about how to configure ability to edit or cancel bookings in the Booking Calendar plug-in.
1) At the page, like this https://www.server.com/edit/ you need to insert the [bookingedit] shortcode.
2) Then at the Booking > Settings General page in Advanced section, you need to save the URL to this page https://www.server.com/edit/ for this option "URL to edit bookings".
3) After this you need to open the Booking > Settings > Emails page and in "New (visitor)" email template configure these shortcodes:
You can edit this booking at this page: [visitorbookingediturl]
Cancel booking page: [visitorbookingcancelurl]
4) Now, when you make the new booking, and receive an email about the new booking, you will have in this email 2 links: one for editing and other for cancellation of the booking.
So please make new test booking and then test those edit links.
Hi
We need a version of the plugin where I can set individual days unavailability in the calendar, which version do you recommend for this feature please?
Many thanks
Hello.
You can make the blank booking for such date(s) at the Booking > Add booking page, to set such date(s) as unavailable.
In the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions you can use “Auto fill” button at the top toolbar in the Booking > Add booking page to make the fast blank booking in 3 mouse clicks.
You can test Booking Calendar live demos at this page https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.
I don't want to give access to bookings to all my Editor users, only some of them.
I don't want either to promote these users to Administrator role.
I have tried setting up a custom role just for Booking Calendar, but none of the custom roles appear in the General settings drop-down menu.
How can I achieve my goal please ?
Hello.
Unfortunately, Booking Calendar does not support custom user roles for access to the Booking Calendar menu pages, only standards: Administrator, Subscriber, Contributor, Author, Editor
We will add improvements to this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of the plugin, but I can not say when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.
Kind Regards.

By default it’s does not possible to set dependence of advanced costs at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page from the seasonal rates.
But you can configure the several different checkboxes and selectboxes with different names in the booking form, that will depend from selected dates (check in date).
