  1. Hello, i love the booking plug in but its very frustrating that I am constantly getting **Message you sent was blocked by our bulk email filter**. My customers are also getting frustrated with not getting a confirmation of booking. How can i fix this problem. I am currently using the free version and tbh this is putting me off purchasing

    • Hello.

      The marking of an email as SPAM or not SPAM very depends on the visitor's personal actions (what emails were marked as spam and what was not).

      I can suggest that you can change the content and/or subject of emails at the Settings > Emails page
      and change the "from email" (to your server email). It can be a reason why the mail system marks this email as spam.

      Usually, when visitors once mark the email as not spam, in the future this email will come to the inbox.
      And of course some visitors can have this email as normal mail and others can receive it as spam, if they previously was mark similar email as spam.

      Right now I can only suggest changing the content of the email and rechecking that the "From" address in the email was relative to your website URL.

      • Hello, I have done as above but am still having blocked emails. My customers are understandably becoming very unhappy with not receiving a confirmation. Is their anything else that can be done?

        • Hello.
          1) Be sure that the From email address at the Booking > Settings > Emails page was having the same DOMAIN address, as your website URL.
          2) In case if you are using SMTP plugin, please recheck settings of this plugin, because it's can override the email settings and emails are sending by such plugin.
          Please recheck with support of this SMTP plugin relative to correct configuration of SMTP plugin to prevent such issues.
          Kind Regards.

  2. Hi,
    Can I use different 'field settings' for different resources?
    I have Business Small SingleSite version.

    Regards
    Andy

  3. Hi

    I've taken over a site, that has been setup by someone else.
    The text that is sent out in the approval-mails are different from the text in [Settings] -> [Emails] -> [Approved]. It might be because of different text per different resources, but I can't see how to edit the email-text per resource?

    • Hello.
      In case,  if you need to have the different emails for the different booking resources so then  you need to  check  the  BookingCalendar MultiUser version.
      In this version each activated regular user can have their own booking admin panel and can configure their own emails.
      So here different emails relative to  specific WP user,  and each  such  user  can have their own booking resources. Its means that  different booking resources will have different emails.

      Selections of booking resources can look  like here https://bm.wpbookingcalendar.com/select-resource/

      Here is more info about this version.

      In the Booking Calendar MultiUser version possible that each registered WordPress user (your owner) have own individual independent booking admin panel, and can see and manage only own booking resources and some other settings (other owners will not see the bookings from this owner, they can see only own bookings). Please check more here (at bottom of the page) https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/

      Also each owner (user) will receive the emails about the bookings of the own service(s) or property (booking resource(s)) and can approve or decline them. Please note, that each owner WordPress user) will have different individual calendar(s) with booking forms in the separate pages. Please retest it in the live demo. You can read more about the initial configuration of the BookingCalendar MultiUser version: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/multiuser-version-init-config/

      Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/multiuser-video-overview/

      Please test the live demo of BookingCalendar Multiuser version here: https://multiuser.wpbookingcalendar.com/
      Admin Panel of Multiuser version (here you can test several admin panels functionality): https://multiuser.wpbookingcalendar.com/admin-panel/

  4. Is there a way to set it so It automatically imports Bookings from VRBO and then automatically approve it?

    • Hello.
      1) Please read more about this feature here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/#sync

      Import.
      Please check about the configuration of import events from .ics feeds in this FAQ instruction here https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/import-ics-feeds/
      Please note, the import process is working in that case, when some visitor is open your website page with booking import shortcode. So you can configure CRON at your server, for periodically accessing this page with booking import shortcode to start the import process. Or you can insert the import shortcode before booking form shortcode, so firstly the system will start the import process and only then show the booking form, when someone visits your page.

      In case if you are having some issue of not ability to import new events, then check this troubleshooting instruction: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/ics-importing-issue/

      You can define CRON at your server for periodically access pages with import .ics feeds shortcodes and start import process during specific time-intervals, then check this: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/cron-script/

      2) The automatically approve of imported bookings possible in the Booking Calendar Business Small or higher versions.
      You can activate this option at the Booking > Settings General page in "Auto cancellation / auto approval of bookings" section.

      Kind Regards.

      • Hello.
        Please open this file https://www.vancanzee.be/wp-content/themes/hello-elementor/style.min.css

        ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

        then find this code:

        table caption+thead tr:first-child td, table caption+thead tr:first-child th, table colgroup+thead tr:first-child td, table colgroup+thead tr:first-child th, table thead:first-child tr:first-child td, table thead:first-child tr:first-child th { border-top:1px solid #ccc } table tbody>tr:nth-child(odd)>td, table tbody>tr:nth-child(odd)>th { background-color:#f7f7f7 } table tbody tr:hover>td, table tbody tr:hover>th { background-color:#e9e9e9 } table tbody+tbody { border-top:2px solid #ccc }

        and replace it to this code:

        /* table caption+thead tr:first-child td, table caption+thead tr:first-child th, table colgroup+thead tr:first-child td, table colgroup+thead tr:first-child th, table thead:first-child tr:first-child td, table thead:first-child tr:first-child th { border-top:1px solid #ccc } table tbody>tr:nth-child(odd)>td, table tbody>tr:nth-child(odd)>th { background-color:#f7f7f7 } table tbody tr:hover>td, table tbody tr:hover>th { background-color:#e9e9e9 } table tbody+tbody { border-top:2px solid #ccc }*/

        Also please recheck for any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with booking form for do not cache this page(s).

    • Hello.
      You are having this js error:
      Uncaught SyntaxError: '#' not followed by identifier boeking-systeem:2777:75
      It's coming from this code:
      if ( visible_booking_id_on_page[i]=="booking_form_div1" ) {
      which must to look like this:
      if ( visible_booking_id_on_page[i]=="booking_form_div1" ) {

      Probably it's because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and active the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
      We just need to find the reason for this issue.

  7. Hello,
    i´am using a separated booking form in the backend for special bookings (special time slots) which are normaly not availabil for the front end custumers.
    I would like to make such a special booking with an indivduell price. I Would like to have a free field where i can type in the special price. So this has to overite the deposited price.
    How is this possible? Which Code do i need?

    • Hello.
      You need to use [cost_corrections] shortcode in the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page.

      This field is visible only in Admin Panel at Add booking page.
      Use this field for correcting the cost during adding new booking.
      Important! You can use this shortcode only once in the form.

  8. In search availability, in check-in box there is the today date and in check-out box there is the tomorrow date. But if you press the search button, it says: "Please select check-in and check-out days!". This is wrong, because the user is confused. Is there a fix for it? If there is no fix for it, is it possible to have empty check-in and check-out boxes?

    Thank you very much

    • Hello.
      It's placeholders in the check in/out texts fields. It's not the selected dates for searching.
      You can hide them, by making this CSS fix.
      Please open this file ../wp-content/plugins/{Booking Calendar Folder}/inc/css/search-form.css

      ( you can check how to edit files in WordPress menu in this article https://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/how-edit-file-in-wp-menu/ )

      then add this code to the bottom of this file:

      #booking_search_form .hasDatepick::placeholder { color: #fff; }

      Please do not forget to clear the browser cache before testing these changes.

      Kind Regards.

      • I would suggest if you had the current day in the check-in field and the next day in the check-out field. So when you press search, then you actually search for these days. This idea is happening in all major web sites.

        • Hello.
          You just need to select the today date in check in field. And if you have the minimum number of days to select as 2 days, then the check out field will be filled by tomorrow date.
          Kind Regards.

          • Is it possible to write a text inside each placeholder?
            Thank you

            • Hello.
              It's possible to configure placeholders in text fields in the paid version, like this:
              [text firstname placeholder:Placeholder_text__here]
              Please note, the empty spaces you need to replace by _, like in above example: "Placeholder_text__here"

              Please use shortcode generator at the right side of the Booking > Settings > Form page for the fast and correct creation of booking form fields.
              Watch it in this video guide https://wpbookingcalendar.com/help/booking-form-fields-settings-video-tutorial/
              Kind Regards.

  9. Is it possible to have an option to remove the ".00" from the amount that shows in each calendar cell? I can be hard to read the amount because the calendar is smaller.

    • Hello.
      You can define it by configuring cost format at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.
