  3. Is it possible to insert the deposit cost in more email templates? I would like the deposit balance to show in the emails to my customers.

      You can insert the deposit cost shortcode [deposit_hint] in the all emails at the Booking > Settings > Emails page,
      if you have used this shortcode [deposit_hint] in the booking form at the Booking > Settings > Form page.

  4. May I ask if it is possible to force my customers to book the timeslot at least 4 hours before? (If he wants to book timeslot of 9-10pm, he needs to book before 5 pm so that we can have a preparation.) So is there any setting that can always block the next four hours from booking or just make them can't see. Thanks

      It’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.

      Configure it at the Booking > Settings General page in “Availability” section.

      • Yes I am using that version. Do you mean Unavailable time before / after booking? But that's not we want. We want to not let the customers book the timeslot right before that time (If the time is now 5pm, the customer SHOULD NOT see the 5-9pm timeslot even when the whole day is available and he can only book the timeslot after 9pm) Is it possible to do? Thanks

          Unfortunately it’s does not possible.
          You can try to change the timezone at the WordPress > Settings General page. This trick can help you to block some time slots. Because Booking Calendar show available time slots starting from current time.

  5. Since the last update the checkbo "send email" is missing from the booking view. If I want to approve bookings without sending out emails I have to be in the calendar view.

    I hardly ever use the calendar view because I want to see the details in the booking view/list. Is this checkbox missing on purpose in the newest version?

      It’s located at the User Options toolbar, at the Booking Listing page. Activate it at the top right side at that page.

        • Like I said iin the initial post I only see this option in calendar view, but when I deactivate it and switch to listing page, the option is activated again and mails are sent out.

            In your screenshot at Booking Listing page it's next tab after activated "Actions" tab in top toolbar.
            There is exist that checkbox.

            • omg... thank you so much! Would be cool if it was positioned outside of this tab like in calendar view (maybe in a future update?), because I forget a lot to deactivate what I don't see 😉 I know, it's a me-problem hehe.

    I am getting the error "Error! Form wpbc_form_field_free does not exist.." when trying
    to update my booking form via de settings in simple mode. I can not change anything.
    I can change the coding-mode however. How can I solve this?

    I am trying to create an availability calender for my website users to see current availability week by week with the ability to make some weeks go green, orange and red in terms of availability. With a key on the bottom showing what green, orange and red means.

    I am currently using this [bookingcalendar type=1 nummonths=3] but cannot seem to get the key under the calendar but you example videos show this.

    Also how do i make each week go from green to red etc?

      1) You can activate to show the calendar legend items at the Booking > Settings General page in "Form" section.
      2) You need to check the different calendar skins to select, which is best fit to your color scheme.

  9. The person in charge of finances wants an export nog with the names of the reservations, but with the username of the person who was logged it at time of making the reservation, as the former can be edited and the latter not. I can't find an option to do this. Is it possible to find (and even better: export) that information?

    • Hello.
      In the paid version of Booking Calendar you can export the bookings to the CSV format at the Booking Listing page at the Actions toolbar.
      Please note, plugin export all booking data to the CSV file.
      But you can open this CSV file, in MS Excel and then remove Columns, that you do not need.

  10. I am trying to set up the booking calendar at the moment, purchased the large version. The client wants to have a nightly rate for 2 night weekend bookings, a different nightly rate for 3 night weekends, a further nightly rate for any other length of stay above 2 nights. Then each of these rates change for different time periods for each period. Is this possible? if so, how?

    • Hello.
      Basically you can try to configure it via "Valuation days" cost configuration at the Booking > Resources > Availability page,
      but only in case, if you will not have season intersection, during selected dates. Check bellow.

      "Valuation days" can apply for any day. Or in case if you need to apply it to a specific season, then it can depend only on the belonging "check in day" to a specific season. It means that, if you select 2 weeks, the "Valuation days" can apply costs only depending on the check-in day belonging to a specific season, even if some other days belong to another season. In other words, if you will have the days selected with season intersections, then you can have an issue with "Valuation days".

      Basically "Valuation days" is useful, in case, if you need to set some discount or higher cost depending on the number of selected days. For example if a visitor selects 7 or more days, then booking will have a 10% discount, etc...
