  1. Hello there

    Aside from the fact, that the plugin is half English half German in the backend, it unfortunately seems to mix these two languages in the automated emails as well. I've put in the placeholder [date] and instead of "20. März 2023" it replaces it with "20. March 2023" in the email that gets sent out. Where can I fix this, that the date is German too, like the rest in the mail?

    The 2nd problem I have is, I've used timeslots which are implemented in the form with the label "Angebot (Startzeit)" and the Type/Name "select | rangetime". Within "rangetime" I put in some time slots and a title. So far, so good. But:

    a) in the form these rangetime show the title only, not the time slots (fine with me)
    b) in the email it only shows the time slots, no title (not really fine with me)

    Like this I have to figure out, what they exactly booked, because the placeholder [content| only shows me the time slots, not the accompanied title. If I would have similar time slots for a booking item, I would have no clue, what they booked. And for the client it is irritating, because they see only the time slot and not the name of what they book.

    So... how can I get the time slots and the according title to show up in the emails as well?

    • Hello.
      1) Please activate this checkbox "Use localized time format" at the Booking > Settings General page in "Booking Admin Panel" section.
      2) Relative times. System can show only the "Values" and not the titles/labels of the fields values. That's why it's does not possible to show "Premium shoot 09:00uhr". Instead of that possible to show only values for time slot such as "09:00 - 10:00".
      We will add improvements to this feature to the TOO list for having it in future updates of the plugin, but I can not say when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.

      • Thanks with the helpf or issue no1. My 2nd issue is the bigger one. If I don't get to see what the client books, I guess this is not the plugin for me then. Timeslots can be the same, it's the service that varies and that's what the client books in the end - for a timeslot, no?

          1) Different services, usually defined as a different booking resources (calendars).

          2) If you want to show as unavailable some dates or times in all calendars (booking resources), if some booking was made in only one calendar (booking resources), then it’s possible to configure it with "aggregate" parameter in the Booking Calendar shortcode ( it's possible in all paid versions of Booking Calendar). This parameter makes the dates in the calendar unavailable if these dates were booked in some other booking resources.

          I will explain it in example of booking separate rooms:

          Example of configuration:

          Booking resources at the Booking > Resources page:

          - Room #1 ( ID = 3 )
          - Room #2 ( ID = 4 )
          - Room #3 ( ID = 5 )

          And you need to insert the Booking Calendar shortcodes into the pages like this

          - Room #1 ( ID = 3 )
          [booking type=3 aggregate='4;5' ]

          - Room #2 ( ID = 4 )
          [booking type=4 aggregate='3;5' ]

          - Room #3 ( ID = 5 )
          [booking type=5 aggregate='4;5' ]
          ....

          If some rooms will be booked for a specific date(s) or times, this date/time will be unavailable in other rooms, as well.

    i am using booking calendar ver. Business Medium SingleSite 9.1.1.
    I would like to know, if is there any possibility add on my websites two timelines with different language. (different names of month one in English and one in Czech).
    And second question is - can i add legend to timeline?

      2) Currently Booking Calendar does not support legend in timeline. We will add improvements to this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of the plugin, but I can not say when this feature will be implemented. Sorry.

  3. Hello

    We updated some time ago from Booking Calendar Medium SingleSite 9.1.4 to the Version 10.Business.Large.SingleSite.9.5.2.
    just now i wanted to configure the Bookingresources capacity. But in the Booking Resources Admin Panel im missing the Column "Max visitors", in the Online Demo of the Large version, this Column exists.

    Is there a setting i have to enable to see this column?

    • Hello.
      1) You need to activate the "Set capacity based on number of visitors" at the Booking > Settings General page in "Advanced" section to show Thank you. "Max visitors" field at Booking > Resources page. But you need to check FAQ about capacity to understand about how is this "Max visitors" field works Together with child booking resources.

      In this version it is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in the calendar will be available until the number of reservations is less than capacity of the booking resource. But it's possible to make booking only for FULL date, not a time slot (time slots in this version are only saved as data into the database, but do not apply to availability logic).

        Thanks a lot i could now configure the capacities. But i have already the next Problem...
        The Search isn't working, i made a page where i put the Availability-search and there are no booking entries in the system. I created 4 Resources with subresources all with altleast space for 2 people. but when i search with just one person, the Search tells me nothing found. Any Idea what im missing?

  4. We are using the Bookings system on our website and for some reason the month of march and the 1st 3 days of April have lost their color coding, They should be green for available and the 24, 25, 26 of MArch should be red for a booking. We havent done anything to the setup since we installed it and this issue is puzzling us as we can see any reason for this to be happening, Any help would be appreciated

      Send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.

        • Hello.
          Please open the Booking > Settings General page and in "Availability" section and recheck your configuration for this option: "Unavailable days from today". Please set there value "0" days.

          Otherwise open the Booking > Availability page and recheck if you set such dates as unavailable there.

  5. Hey,

    Earlier this week, our website was hacked. During the clean-up process the Booking Calendar plugin was deactivated and the server software was upgraded to PHP 8.1. When we tried to reactivate the booking calendar, it broke the website. Do I just need to reinstall the plugin or is there something else I should be doing?

  6. The small business plan offers a way to take payments from Authorize.net. However, it uses a depreciated version of Authorize.Net (Server Integration Method (SIM) that is being phased out. (https://developer.authorize.net/api/upgrade_guide.html)

    Can you provide an upgrade so I use Authorize according to their suggestions? This is what they say and recommend:

    "We will soon announce an end of life timeline for SIM, so we encourage you to upgrade your SIM solutions to use Accept Hosted. Authorize.net Accept Hosted is a mobile-optimized, PCI DSS SAQ-A compliant solution for accepting payments.       Do you mean of not actual bookings showing at the calendar at mobile devices ?
      If yes, then please recheck for any cache plugins, like "WP Super Cache", "WP Fastest Cache" or "W3 Total Cache". If you are using someone, please deactivate it or add the exception to the page with a booking form for do not cache this page(s).

      Also please clear the browser cache at your mobile device.

    • Hello.
      1) Please note, if you logged in as super booking admin user, you have to see all WordPress users at the Booking > Settings > Users page.
      2) Please be sure that this user are exist at the WordPress > Users menu page. And if it exist please recheck the user role of such user. Set some standard WordPress user role to him.
      3) Otherwise Probably it's because of conflict with some other plugin or actual theme.
      Please try to deactivate one by one all your active plugins at the WordPress > Plugins menu and make testing after each plugin deactivation.
      If it does not help, please deactivate all your plugins and activate the default WordPress theme. And then retest it again.
      We just need to find the reason for this issue.

  9. Hi! I have installed your Premium license for small business and I cannot see the option of advanced costs in the menu. I am designing a website for a client who offers holiday room rentals and he wants to set a different price for the use of each room with one person or with two persons. The price difference is always the same: 25% discount on the room if it is for 1 person instead of 2. How can I access this advanced costs option, please?

    • Hello.
      Please note, this option available in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions.

      If you need to set some additional cost for the booking, depending from selected options in the select-boxes or checkboxes in your booking form, so then it’s possible in the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions at the Booking > Resources > Advanced cost page .

      You can make upgrade to the higher version of Booking Calendar from your exist version of plugin by clicking on the “Upgrade” menu item at the top right side of General Booking Settings page in your admin panel.

  10. I have the Business Medium version of the plugin.
    I have my seasonal dates and rates set up.
    Can I set a minimum number of days for a booking per season?
    E.g. During summer - minimum stay of 5 nights.
    Rest of year - minimum stay of 2 nights.

      • Hi, I am also wanting to do the same thing and have tried to follow the instructions on the pages you mentioned. Here is what I have for the shortcode.. is it correct? as doesn't seem to be working on the front end.

        So what I'm trying to achieve is:
        Season "Summer Holidays" to have a minimum night stay of 7 nights and up to 30 days as the maximum nights someone can book online and I've followed the same format for the others.

        Easter - minimum 5 nights, maximum 30 nights
        Mid season - minimum 3 nights, maximum 30
        low - minimum 2 nights, maximum 30

        I'm just working on the site on my local computer so can't show you a live website as it's in development, but when I go to the front-end the calendar doesn't seem to show any reference to the minimum night stay

        Any advice you can offer to achieve this would be great, thank you
