  1. Hello,

    We have the Booking Calendar Business Large version and we want to have different prices per night for a single ressource when booked for different periods of time.

    e.g.:
    Ressource "room 1":
    if booked for less then 8 nights: 30$/night
    if booked for less then 15 nights: 25$/night
    else: 20$/night

    How do we get managed to calculate the price like the given example above?
    Is there a way to do an if-then-else (more or less condition based) calculation?

    • Hello.
      You can configure it at the Booking > Resources > Cost and rates page.
      Please set the cost for the specific booking resource per nights as 20. Save the chnages.
      Then click on "Valuation days"button near specific booking resource. And make configuration like this:
      From 1 to 7 days = 30 usd for each specicic date.
      From 8 to 15 days = 25 usd for each selected dates.
      Save the settings.

      If you need that during selction of 8 to 15 days cost for any days (even from 1 to 7 was as 25) then instead of previos config you need to have this:

      From 1 to 7 days = 30 usd for each specicic date.
      Togather 8 days = 200 usd for all days.
      From 9 to 15 days = 25 usd for each selected dates.
      Togather 16 days = 320 usd for all days.

        I tried to set it up like you wrote. It seems, that the plugin calculates the price not accurate.

        This is what i defined at 'costs and rates'
        From 8 to 14 = 48 usd
        From 1 to 7 = 51 usd

        Price for ressource per night: 46 usd

        I put the shortcode into a wordpress site. When i visit this site and select 7 days in a row (= 6 nights), the plugin calculates the price ... 306 usd ... that's right so far. (306 / 6 = 51)
        If I select one more day (= 7 nights) the plugin calculates to 354 usd. That is not right (354 / 7 = 50,57142857142857). 0.43 usd per night are gone. But where are they?
        Did I missed a configuration item or is it in fact a calculation error?

        • Hello.
          It's beacauee first 7 days (from 1 to 7) system calculate with cost 51 and only last day calculate with cost 48 so it's look like this:
          (7-1)*51+48=354
          We are having in this formula (7-1) because you are having cost per night. And it's means that each second day in booking seletions = 0.

          In your case you need to make configuration like in my second suggestion in previous reply.

          • Like this:
            From 1 to 8 days = 51 usd for each specicic date.
            Togather 9 days = 384 usd for all days.
            From 10 to 15 days = 48 usd for each selected dates.
            Togather 16 days = 690 usd for all days.

  2. Hello.
    Is there possible to move the order fields up beside the calendar?
    Like placing them next to each other?

    • Hello.
      Its possible in the paid versions of Booking Calendar.
      If you just need to have the calendar at the left side column and booking form fields at the right side column, so you can reset the booing form by using one if standards booking forms templates.

      For doubt that please open the Booking > Settings > Fields page, then at the top toolbar select "2 Collumns Form Template" and click on reset "Both" button. Then click on "Save changes" button.

      Now you can test your booking form at the front-end.
      You have to see the calendar at the left side and booking form at right side.

  3. Is there possible to replace the built in captcha with googles "no captcha recaptcha" in the booking field?

    We are maintaining a taxi company. Normally we will take boking in hourly packages. since all the resources(Taxis) are more or less same, we need not show the resource dropdown in the booking form. Just we have to accept booking for the selected hours or days without showing resources option in the booking form. We will allot the resource to the booking depending on the availability.

    Please advise how to accept booking with out showing resource dropdown in the form.

    • Hello.
      Unfortunately, if you are need to make the several specific number of bookings per the same timeslot at same date, its does not possible in any versions of Booking Calendar.

      1) At the Booking Calendar Business Small and Business Medium versions are possible to make the bookings for the specific time slot.
      Please note, if some visitor will reserve the specific time slot at selected date at specific booking resource (calendar), this timeslot become unavailable for the other visitors at this selected date in this booking resource.

      2) At the Booking Calendar Business Large version is possible to set the capacity of the booking resource, it’s mean that your visitors can make the several reservations per the same date, in other words, the date(s) in calendar will be available until lumber of reservations per these full dates is less than capacity of the booking resource. Please note, if you will use the timeslot selection for the booking resource with capacity higher than one, so then this timeslot will be simply record as a data into DB according this booking, but will not impact to the time availability.

      3) Or you can activate the multiple bookings per same dates option at the General Booking Settings page to have the dates and times always free in your booking form.

  5. HI,
    Like approved or pending option for booking, Can we have another option 'Assigned' which means we have corrected or allotted the resource to particular booking.

    • Hello.
      Booking Calendar does not support some new statuses of the dates in the calendar. But you can rename actual statuses and use some exist renamed status.

          You can rename the statuses in the legend under the calendar at the General Booking Settings page in Form section.

  6. I don't know if I am just missing something, but I can't seem to find where to change the "cost per day" into a "cost per night". I have been searching in 'Resources, should I be somewhere else?

    How many admin panels or admin users can i add? if i upgrade to multiuser version. I think i need more than 100 admin panels.

    In frontend, under the calendar, when i type in "name" or any other fields (exept the message fields) i can't see what i am typing, i see only dots in the fields 🙁

    The emails that normally come in when there is a new booking does not seem to be working now. They have worked just fine in the past and though nothing has been changed, it does not seem to work. Is this a known issue, and if so is there an ETA when it will be fixed. Otherwise please advise on to how to handle the situation.

    We would like people to be able to book people but instead of paying upfront, we would like to send an email to the person asking if they approve it. If they approve they can attend that date, can they then send an email back to the person asking for payment? Is this possible? Hoping for an answer asap

    • Hello.
      You can deactivate all payment systems at the Booking > Settings > Payment page.

      If you will send payment request by email, then the default payment system - PayPal will be active.

      3) According paying deposit after visitor make the booking.

      Here is little instruction about deposit configuration and sending payment request for the rest of the sum.

      Please read firstly this article about the correct configuration of the "payment link" :

      Then open the Booking > Settings > Emails page and configure and set active the "Payment request" email.

      Now open the General Booking Settings page and set checked this option: "Deposit payment:" at the "Costs" section.
      You can open the Booking > Resources >Cost and rates page and by clicking the "Deposit amount" button configure the deposit amount value.
      This cost will be show in the payment form, after visitor is made the reservation. So probably its cost will be smaller than full amount. And your visitors can make the payment of that amount.
      At the admin panel at the booking listing page for the specific booking you will see in the cost field the FULL cost, but inside of the "notes section" (you can activate it by pressing the note button at the right side of the each section), you will see the description similar to this:
      Total cost: $135.00 /deposit:$54.00, balance: $81.00/ - 07.22.2012

      If you are want to request from the visitor to pay the rest of the sum, you are need to make these steps:

      1) Edit the cost of the booking, and enter the sum, which will show at the payment form. You are need to change the cost and then press the save button to save the new cost.
      2) Press the send payment request button to send the email with link to the payment form for the specific booking.
